is anyone having issues accessing their online acct

I still have the data utilization option, AND the rest of the app seems to be working as well. I can see the data utilization stats for mu own number, but I get an error for the other smartphone and the tablet I have on the account.  So, if my daughter has the app on her iPhone, would she see her own data utilization info only?  That makes sense, but it would be more useful to me if I could see hers on my app.    Maybe that's in the works....

    I have been having a problem in which my internet connection, which will be working normally prior to closing the Mac, will not reconnect after it's woken up.  I have to go so far as to reset my Time Machine AND Macbook to restore the connection.  I noticed the most recent update for Mountain Lion also included some mention of a specific patch for Macbook Pro Retina's.  Does anyone know of a documented issue?

    Some recent updates from Apple might affect your problem, but I can't be sure.  How long have you been having the problem?
    I have to go so far as to reset my Time Machine AND Macbook to restore the connection.
    Don't confuse "Time Capsule", an Apple Wi-Fi base station, with "Time Machine", backup software included with OS X since version 10.5.  Your problem involves the former, not the latter.

  • Is anyone having issues with their phones deleting their notes randomly? Also when you delete an email, you have to delete up to 5 times sometimes before it actually deletes from your phone?

    I can make a note and It deletes it, sometimes a week later sometimes 3-5 weeks later. BUT there's 1 note I've had for about 9 months and it's still there. I've had it since before the new iOS 7 system... And with the emails I can delete then and then they pop back up, delete again and there they are again. But it's not all the time. Just whenever it feels like it. And my phone isn't old, I've only had it about 3 months now. Is anyone else having these issues? They're driving me nuts!

    Give it a go
    Hold the cmd key (next to the spacebar) & try clicking a few messages. Command key looks a bit like a cloverleaf.
    There are other shortcut keys as I mentioned before just try a few key combinations & you'll get the hang of it.
    Once the messages are selected you can either drag them into a Mailbox or use the menus to perform operations like 'Mark as read' or 'Mark as junk' etc.
    You may want to show the mailbox list (if it is hidden). This is in the 'View menu > Show Mailbox list'. It should make it easier to move the messages around.
    The shift key is the one that lets you select a range, just select the starting message, then hold shift & select the end message.
    I think it is harder to explain in words, so try it out you'll get to grips with it.

    I have an AT&T iPhone 5 purchased from an AT&T store - it is a normal phone, no changes, no jailbreaking.  I tried using my phone and my girlfriend’s iPhone 5 with the USB auxiliary cable in my 2012 Hyundai Accent.  No matter what connector I use (headphone, USB, auxiliary) it doesn't charge or allow me to use the Hyundai’s controls to change music.  Music will play through the Bluetooth system, but I cannot control the music unless I physically touch my iPhone.  My iPhone 4 has a USB auxiliary cable and works perfectly; it charges and I have full control of my music without having to touch my phone. Nothing works even if I use the adapter that connects the iPhone 4 charger end to the iPhone 5. The picture below shows the iPhone 4 USB cable but it needs to have the (blue) iPhone 5 adapter.
    Here’s the best part of this whole situation.  I was told by Hyundai Customer Care that there is a specific USB cable available for my iPhone and that I need to contact a dealer.  However, two Hyundai dealerships have told me that they do not have a cable, that Apple has not made a cable for the iPhone 5, and that I need to contact Apple directly or order it from an Apple store.  It gets better.  I contacted an Apple Store and they told me to contact Hyundai.  I explained what I wrote above and they put on a call with Apple Customer Care.  After 37 minutes on the phone with Apple, they still couldn't give me a satisfactory answer on how to get this cable or if they even had a cable (Case ID 505467409).
    So here is the magical question:   Is there a working adapter for the iPhone 5 that connect to a 2012 Hyundai Accent? It needs to play music, charge the phone, and work with the car’s controls.  Thanks!

    The problem is that you're using an uncertified lightning to 30-pin connector (the blue cable).  If you purchase the 30-pin to lightning cable (either online, at an Apple store or an authorized dealer) it should work fine.
    I have a 2011 Tuscon and tried the lightning to USB cable that came with the phone - no dice.  Talked to my local Hyundai dealer and they don't have an eta on the Hyundai lightning cables (I'm sure it's in the works).

  • Anyone having issues using their cam in MacBook pro Lion on Flash websites?

    When going on websites that try to turn on your webcam using Flash, the dialog box that pops up asking for permission is not "clickable."  The solution of going into Flash preferences and granting permission site-by-site to always allow access to your cam is great until you try to take permission away.  Then you can't click the dialog box again.  Is there going to be a real fix for this, or is it another salvo in the Apple vs. Adobe wars?

    I am getting a message saying "We could not complete your Music Store request. The server was not found. There was an error in the Music Store. Please try again later."
    I keep trying back and keep getting the message. I get the message when I try to access my account or try to buy a song.

    Looks like I Tunes is having its problems today !!Guys if you do get I Tunes runing again check to see if you have lost any credits you might have had. looks like I have lost 10 free down loads.This morning I tryed to redem my free down loads and thats when problems started (09 00)hrs UK time.Very poor for such a big thing as I Tunes.

  • Anyone having issues with their new iPhone 5?

    I've had my iPhone 5 for a month (64GB in white from 3 network). My fella has the same but in black but he's not been having any problems.
    I've noticed the reception drops randomly, I've noticed it most when it's been in my pocket. I have to reset it using Airplane Mode to re-fresh.
    Also it sometimes crashes on me, stays frozen for 2-5 minutes. Never had this problem with my old iPhones!
    And litrally just ten minutes ago I tried making some calls, first time call I heard was what sounded like interferance, then the second and third call no one could hear me speaking.
    Another thing I've noticed is that sometimes it doesn't like being connected to my home WiFi. We have BT Infinity and the computers run very quickly of it, however the phone seems to struggle.
    Wondering whether these are common symtoms??

    I think you must restore your iPhone without keeping backup! One suggestion: save your address book and your favourite apps with iCloud! And if you cannot do without, recover only this data.

    so the issue isn't i-tunes or the ipod the issue is the size of the photo. Make a seperate file for your ipod phots and copy all the photos you want to be on your ipod into the folder, then open every photo in paint and press ctrl+W and keep resizing till the photo is a little bit bigger then your ipod screen (make sure you use the same numbers for the horizontal and vertical side or else it'll distort the picture). i usually start with 50 percent and do it till its a little bit bigger then my screen, then save it. it takes a little bit to do but it works i promise just don't make them to small cause you ipod will stretch this hope this helps other people out!!! it stinks i know but for me its worth it i love my photos

    It is a fairly simple item to deal with. Get a can of compressed air, the type you would use on your keyboard. Turn off your device and spray the air onto the home button. You can try and blow into as well. Sometimes dust or small particles get stuck behind the button.

    I have an iPad (3rd Gen) and no matter how many times I delete iCloud, Find my phone and Reset all data/content it still opens with "This iPhone is currently linked to an Apple ID"? So if I wish to sell my iPad, currently I cant as I cant diactivate it from my account.
    I've reset 4 times and have what I'd call a clean set up but it opens with thiis "Linked account message"... (iOS7)

    I am having issues with the WiFi connection to my AT&T router and voice recognition.
    It wont make post to Facebook half of the time. It is lacking the option to post videos to Facebook, only to mail, message, and You Tube. And finally the voice recognition messes up what it types in both Siri and messages.

    Not having any of those.

    I mean that I sent an email to a contact of mine yesterday. His reply contained a stream of very old emails I had received in 2009 from a totally different contact all together !! The reply email was in my inbox as being from the original person I sent the email to. This is starting to happen more regularly now , so is a problem !

    Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.

    The inability to log into iCloud.com (sporadic problem), can’t use Contacts, Calendar, Notes, etc. (consistent problem), can’t send error reports (consistent problem) from a Windows PC seems to be a common problem.
    My recommendation is to download Apple’s Safari version 5.1.7 for Windows to access iCloud.com. It consistently works for me!!!! To make things easier with Safari, I made iCloud.com its Homepage. I’m using it to access iCloud.com from all of my PCs.
    On my Windows 7 systems it appears that some add-ons are causing problems when you try to access iCloud.com with the 32-bit version of IE9, but the 64-bit version seems to work fine, more than likely because there are few add-ons that are 64 bit and the 64-bit version can't be the default browser in IE9.

    I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only person struggling with exact issue.  I've rebooted, upgraded, re-installed, pulled all my hair out as nothing works.
    The biggest dissapointment with this thread is that nobody seems to have responded with a solution.
    And yes I've managed to pull together enough intellegence to tick the box "sync to outlook" in iTunes - still nothing man.
    Definately does not sync from phone to PC and is very hit and miss on PC to Phone.  In other words now running 2 seperate calendars - Not helpful Jan.
