    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it.
    If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
    Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • How do I delete the "Add-On" pop up box that appears when I start Firefox

    Every time I open Firefox a pop up box appears for add-ons. It is blank and does nothing. I close it and other one appears and I close that, then firefox starts. It's not a big thing, but it's a pain. It does not appear when I start IE8.

    You can try http://kb.mozillazine.org/Preferences_not_saved
    You can also try to delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.
    See "Corrupt extension files": http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions
    If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

  • I am paranoid about malware. I go to the Mozilla site, click download and up pops a box that says its from tux.rainside.sk Am I being hijacked?

    bottom line I am not sure if I am getting a real version of Firefox or has someone redirected me to a rogue site that will install malware? Why wouldn't the dialog box say run or save a file from mozilla.com?

    Mozilla uses mirrors from all over the world for downloading and updating Firefox. tux.rainside.sk is one of the places that is used, it is one of the primary sites for downloading Firefox in Europe.

  • When I'm on Facebook and I click to Comment or accept a game gift, I get a pop up box that says, "Are you sure you want to navagate away from this page?" and it doesn't post my comment or accept the gift.

    This happens most of the time. Sometimes if I catch the page before its completely loaded it won't do it, but this is getting very annoying. I uploaded some photos, it took me an hour to do so, and then it took me another 30 minutes just to get to post a caption to just one of them because of this issue. This only started about 3 weeks ago. I haven't done anything different. Any suggestions?

  • Has anyone noticed a delay when secondary clicking on the trackpad after switching to Lion?

    I have noticed that ever since I upgraded to OS X Lion there is a delay of the context menu showing up when I lightly tap the trackpad with two fingers. The context menu shows up immediately if I ctrl-click or push down on the trackpad with two fingers, but lightly tapping brings up the context menu slightly after doing so. Try it out yourself and see if the problem occurs. I am certain that this did not happen in Snow Leopard. I am using an early 2011 13" Macbook Pro.

    Was there a two-finger double-click? I don't recall but if there wasn't there wouldn't be a delay as the OS would not have to wait to see if you were going to two-finger click again. As far as I can recall, it was a two-finger single click for secondary button, and that was it.
    I've already forgotten, but I didn't use in Snow Leopard if it was there - I had been using a mouse.

  • How do I get rid of a box that pops up saying Account expired?

    There is a pop up box that comes up on my desktop that has a red stop sign shape with a white exclamation point. It says in bold at top "Account expired" and below that "Renew subscription now to resume service". The only option is to click a button at the bottom that says "Renew Subscription", there is no button to close or minimize it. When I do click it, it goes away, but comes back again. Nothing apparently opens or happens after clicking it. If I ignore it, it multiplies and I get a whole cluster of them on my screen. I've tried restarting the computer, emptying the trash, etc. It pops up as soon as I restart it or wake it up from being asleep. My computer is a desktop running version 10.9.5 OS X.
    I've tried searching the internet for a similar problem and didn't find much. Any help or insight at this point would be so helpful.
    Thank you!

    I think I've isolated it to the Cisco webex plugin. Have you done an online conference recently? In the finder go to ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ and thenfind the webex plugin. Remove it and restart safari. In chrome go to chrome://plugins and disable the plugin.

  • Newbie- Help with Flash dynamic pop up box

    Hi i'm new to flash and was just wondering if anyone had any
    tutorials or anything on how to create a dynamic pop up box with
    flash similar to this one
    http://www.photo-flash-maker.com/flash-template-dynamic-box.html

    Hi there,
    You are talking about making a movieclip open on top of the
    rest of your information in flash. This is not really called a
    popup (popup is more often referred to a window that opens).
    What you can do is making in the top layer a movieclip that
    would become visible when you click on something (for example a
    photo).

  • Whenever I print an email I get a pop up box saying Thunderbird quit unexpectedly. Thunderbird doesn't quit. I click ignore it prints OK. Everytime I print.

    Whenever I print an email from Thunderbird I get a pop up box that says Thunderbird quit unexpectedly with the options to send a report, reopen or ignore. However Thunderbird never quits... If I click ignore then the file prints with no difficulty. A second pop-up box comes up during the printing but again if I click ignore Thunderbird goes back to normal. At no time does Thunderbird actually quit or crash. There is just a long delay before the print job starts, and I have to twice click on the "ignore" button on pop up notices. This is an annoyance each time I print anything in Thunderbird. This happens every time. It doesn't matter what printer I print to.
    I am using a MacBook Pro. OSX 10.9.4
    Thunderbird 24.6.0
    Printing wirelessly to an Epson Workforce 545 and wired to a Canon MF4350d

    and do you submit the report? If not do so and perhaps we can have a look at it.

  • Pop up box with Ok and Cancel choices, not working. Please Help.

    Hello! I am trying to create a pop up box that allows users to choose Ok and Cancel (i'm just testing with Ok and Cancel for now). For some reason when I run it a CMD line pops up and closes very quickly, but i do not get errors. Here is my code:
          private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
                PopupForm popup = new PopupForm();
                DialogResult dialogresult = popup.ShowDialog();
                if (dialogresult == DialogResult.OK)
                    Console.WriteLine("You clicked OK");
                else if (dialogresult == DialogResult.Cancel)
                    Console.WriteLine("You clicked either Cancel or X button in the top right corner");
                popup.Dispose();
    Please help!
    Thanks

    Hi Rocketman123,
    Per my understanding, you are developing a winform application, but in your code, I see "Console.WriteLine".
    So please use MessageBox.Show() instead.

  • How do I add a pop up box?

    I've created a form that customers can click on from our website to apply for an account.
    We're having a few people struggle with the concept that they have to save the form and email it back to us (it seems like a simple concept, but apparently not.)
    I want to create a pop up box that appears after they first click through to the PDF that says something like "Please fill this form out, save it to your desktop and email it back to [email protected]" that they have to click 'Okay' on to get to the form underneath.
    How should I go about doing this?
    Thanks

    In Acrobat, go to Tools - JavaScript - Document JavaScripts. Create a new script called "init", and then remove the default code that shows up in the window that opens, and paste this code instead:
    app.alert("Please fill this form out, save it to your desktop and email it back to [email protected]",3);
