Is anyone's IPhone 6 camera taking multiple pictures, or is my finger that jumpy?

Whenever I take a picture with IPhone 6, there are two of them.  Not talking about one in Camera Roll & one in My Photo Stream......I mean there are two exact pics.  Is this happening to anyone, or is my finger that jumpy that I take two pics without knowing it?  Thanks

Do you have HDR turned on in Camera and in Settings > Photos & Camera > Keep Normal Photo turned ON? If so the Camera wil save both the HDR version and normal version of each photo taken.

  • IPhone 5 camera is warping pictures

    Hi there,
I got my 16GB iPhone 5 and used the camera serveral times for taking pictures (normal, no HDR, no flash) but nearly every picture shows distortions like when photographing with a fish-eye lens... is that normal and does anyone else experience this??
This is a problem for me since I take a lot of pictures for my job and some companies to upload it directly to social media networks, and with every photo warped this wont work out.
For example, enclosed pictures showing it. Poster warped strangely:
More pictures, another one showing a building on the left warped, and suddenly the wall of my apartement coming in on the upper left corner...
    http://www.abload.de/img/img_2755emqzl.jpg
And a bike, completely warped with strange wheels and seat...

Can you please help me? Is this a production error or is it just the way the iphone 5 does pictures...?

    Hello WillNoHo
Check out the quoted section below to troubleshoot issues with your camera on your iPhone. There are other options within the article if it does not resolve the issue for you.
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2802
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.
    Regards,
    -Norm G.

  • Iphone 6 camera takes a picture and the picture is missing

Question about the iphone 6. Two different occasions now i have taken a picture with the stock camera app, the picture shows up in the bottom left preview window and when i go to click it and it takes me to the photo app, the picture is not there. Preview always stays there for the picture but the picture is missing. The first time it happened i tried to reboot the phone, it was still there, then i did a restore  and then the picture preview was finally gone. Now it happened again and i would like to not restore my phone again. Is anyone having this issue? It happened once before the ios8 update and after it. I have been searching all over and cant seem to find anyone who has this problem. I even plugged the phone into my computer to see if it was in there and it wasn't. Thanks!

Yes  the restore phone worked to lose the pic but then it just happened again a couple weeks later. I actually found a work around for getting rid of the preview picture. I plugged my phone in and deleted any recent pics from the camera and cleared the photo stream then I restored a photo I had from the trash on the phone and then delete the trash photo again, some reason the preview of the lost pic goes away. That just happened on a fluke but I Still haven't figured out why the camera takes a picture and it doesn't always exist except in a preview though. At least i figured out how to get rid of it without restoring.

  • IPhone crashed while taking a picture then rebuilt library????

I was in the middle of taking a picture, and my iPhone 3gs iOS 4 crashed. I turned it back on, and went to find the picture i took. When i clicked on photo albums, or whatever its called.. it said loading.. rebuilding library. (something like that) and when it finished, over 150 of my pictuers were gone. ALL of my pictures from this summer, im talking trips.. going to the lake.. my friends going away party.. and family coming to visit. Is there any way i can get these pictures back? Im not sure that rebooting my phone would work, because the last time i have plugged my phone into the computer was over 2 months ago.. so these pictures were taken after that.
I will do anything. I just want these pictures back. Help?

Probably not. That's why the manual says to connect the phone to your computer and back up frequently. I do it daily.

  • Camera taking random pictures of screen

New touch user. The camera is randomly taking pictures of screens of applications that I am in. Had less than week, any ideas to correct?

If you press the home and power button at the same time, quickly, then it takes a screen shot. This is a feature.

  • After installing IOS 6 on my iphone 4, why is my camera taking purple pictures?

Immediately after installing IOS 6 on my iphone 4 on 9/22/12, when I attempt to use any of my phone apps, everything is colored in purple tint (see attached image). This includes taking video as well. If I flip the camera to the self facing camera, the purple goes away. This only happens on the front facing camera. I've tried googling this issue and cannot find anyone else complaining about this. Any ideas???

So, now I'm starting to feel like I'm the one and only lucky SOB to have this purple issue. For anyone who reads this, some more detail. Since posting this thread, I did a full reset from my iphone and that did not resolve the issue. Then, last night I did a full system restore from itunes which took about 4 hours and that didn't solve it either.
After all this, I started thinking that perhaps there's something wrong with the lens hardware but yesterday for approx 3 full seconds, the camera was normal then there was a stutter and it went purple again. Sounds like a software issue, so I'm really baffled why a system restore wouldn't cure this. Ugh!

  • Problems with the camera on the iPhone 5 when taking a picture...

Hello... Could someone tell me what I should do to get the camera on my iPhone 5 working normal again. From one day to another i tried to take a picture and it does not focus at all! it keeps the image blurry. I reseted the iPhone 3 times and nothing.
    What should I do?
    Thanks...

    @munja
Unfortunately, I have to say that you are not right!!!!
Please dont post any wrong statements!
The Camera Assistant software provides also the settings for the video.
Start the cam software and click on the first option above.
The Web camera control panel should start. On the right hand you will find settings.
Click on the settings and choose properties.
In the tab called options you can zoom in and out. Furthermore you can set the night mode and backlight compensation.

  • Iphone 2g camera taking red fotos

someone knows what i can do?

Well, I have the same problem and am curious if there was some software fix. My camera did work until few days back when I noticed that doesn't take regular photos. It only has pink and blue colors in the photos.

  • Why is my 6 plus rear camera taking blurry pictures?

Rear camera was working great for months. Suddenly all pictures are blurry/fuzzy. No damage at all to iphone. Front camera is ok. Is there a software fix? I hope so because I'm thousands of miles from home

  • My iPhone 5 is taking blurry pictures.

My iPhone is taking grainy and blurry pictures the majority of the time. It is quite disappointing since I have used a 4s that I think takes much better pictures.

To restore, go to Settings > Settings > Rest > Erase All Content and Settings.
When it starts up again the Setup Assistant will give you an option to restore from your backup.
Here is a doc on it:

  • I have an iphone 4s, after taking a picture I am un able to turn it

After taking a photo I am unable to turn

If the pictures are no longer on the device, this has nothing to do with the device or iTunes.
Use the photo management software on the computer to rotate them.

  • Iphone 5 camera zoom crooked picture

Whenever i zoom right in for a picture, it takes the photo to the right of where I'm looking so it cuts off the left half of what I'm looking at, what's going on???

Thank you so much for your post.  If was very helpful.  I was at a Penn State Wrestling match when I noticed that all of the pictures were shifted to the left.  I was not too happy with the phone at that point.  I turned it off and turned it back on and the camera centered properly.  I thought that I did something wrong at first.  This has happened several more times since.  I never notice the problem until I look at the pictures later.  Hopefully, they can get this fixed.

  • Why does my iPhone 4s camera take smaller resolution photos?

Randomly my iPhone 4s camera will take pictures of a resolution less than the maximum 8MP, and I can't seem to understand why that is.  Is this an automatic setting that Apple has put in place that adjusts due to lighting?  I've noticed outdoor shots or those inside with a lot of lighting are more likely to have the full 8MP pixels, but when used in lower lighting settings, my pictures come through at say - 1280 x 960.  What might I do to correct this (if anything)?

I have noticed this when zooming - are you doing that?
When I am not zoomed in, I get the correct resolution of 2592x1936 (5MP, i4)

  • Has anyone experienced the iphone 4s camera panorama failure where the panorama stops after taking  only one non panoramic shot? I think this happens when you switch direction of the panoramic arrow.

Sounds like you have a battry issue but don't want to believe it.
If a car was running fine on one tank of gas, then you filled it up with another tank of gas and it began to run funny, one might suspect that tank of gas. But let's just say coincidence blew a valve-- would you think the new tank of gas was the culprit?
BUT WAIT!! It just might have been! The gas could have been of higher octane and put more more strain on the valves; you know, like going from 87 octane (OS6) to 93 octane (OS7) and showing you the engine was on the edge of compromise.
Sometimes you have to go with common sense. If everything else is ruled out, it must be the battery. And if it runs fine one moment in OS6 but immediately ***** in OS7, I'd believe my battery was suspect-- though comfy-- in OS6 but the OS7 showed its true power.
Moreover, if you had the answer-- or didn't want to believe someone's more competent advice-- why did you even call?  You've already shown that you don't know much when you asked if you could go backwards after setting up the new OS as a new phone.
Additonally, if you're such the know-it-all, but yourself the $29 battery and put it in yourself. It's a piece of cake.
