Is Apple asking people to change their Apple i.d Login Password because of the recent issue with the Developer Site ?

Hi Guys & Gals,
Ive used the same Apple i.d login password for years but recently ive been prompted to change the password to continue to use itunes etc.
Im not a registered developer.
Any ideas if the two are connected ?

When i went to update an app on my iPhone 5 i was prompted to change my password only after answering two security questions and then i received an e mail from Apple confirming a change had been done from this address :

Hi, just got off the phone from BT Business. It is the Business 2wire hub that has the issue. The girl from technical talked through a direct modem to Mac connection and my download took 20 minutes. If you are on Fibre broadband this is the only current fix or a new router if non fibre customer. Hope that helps.

Is Apple aware of the WiFi issue with the IOS8 update? If so, what are the doing about it?

Ipad, wifi stops working and I have to restart my iPad and log in again. It only stays logged into my wifi for a short while then it drops it again. I followed instructions from other threads to reset my IPad and my router...still having issues. The same thing happened the last time I updated my IOS.

Is Apple or anyone aware of the security issue with the iPad 2, iOS 5, and Smartcover?!

I have been getting an email from Apple? asking me to change my Apple ID password. Is this real. I have never seen it before in many years of Mac use. I don't want to click on it in case it's fraudulent. Has this happened to anyone else?

If you were able to use your existing Apple ID and password to successfully log in to this site and post your question, then they remain valid and the email is a phishing attempt. Delete it.
To anyone else coming across this post who fell victim to this or a similar phishing scam by entering their Apple ID and password on the authentic-looking page linked in the email: your credentials have been stolen.

I choose to use LP9 with Snow Leopard myself (10.6.8 and 9.1.6) for most of my commercial work simply because I find that combo very stable and provides the best overall performance for my setups here... but I am also using LPX with Mavericks as part of my client support and that works fine too although with a drop in performance due to the heavier demands made on the hardware by the newer OS X and LPX graphic routines for example..

When did yours come out? what does the above show as model and minimum build?
You should have yoru OEM OS X DVD, not one from another Mac, or retail, though the last retail OS X DVD was a year ago 10.6.3.
If it installed, I don't see an issue unless the drive had corrupt directory etc.
What you need to do is repair your boot drive or restore from backup.

Try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

No. The hardware in the fourth-gen iPod touch won't handle iOS 7 or Apple would have released it for your model of iPod. If you want to run iOS 7, you'll need a new iPod.

Ask your question.updated to IOS 6.1. I cannot configure my iMessage properly with this version. Everytime it verifies the email addresses associated with my apple Id the page reverts back to the previous one with the sign in portion. What should I do?

Why apple dont accept the issue with the iPhone 6 plus? (Battery)

My mom send me as a gift one iphone 6 plus 64 gb (900 dlls...) and i was so happy, it was like wooow!
but after test my phone etc etc (11 days ago) i notice a VERY UGLY FAST battery draining, and i updated my phone to 8.2

I Went to the apple online assistance chat and follow all the instructions of the girl: same...
i Went to the apple store (genious bar) and they test my battery etc (WOW 100% fine)
and i ask for a phone replacement, they toldme they can replace my phone with a refurbished one, becauae my battery is ok

Well... I had bettery battery performance on my old iphone 6 (6 hours screen with bright at 75% hard usage) and with this patetic phone i just got 5 hours of screen (100-0) with a very very low usage... And is a 900-950$ phone... I see a lot of people with the same issue, and the same responce by the apple staff, im tired, i dont want another defective phone, that plus is a refurbished phone...
¿why apple dont just accept their fault and replace all the phones, or batteries or whatever now and not in 2 years like with the iphone 5?
im hating so bad my phone, and the apple staff.

You didn't answer my questions. Have you done a reset? Have you done a complete restore and set up the device from scratch?

Here are some suggestions based on my recent issue with unable to get Mavericks up after upgrade - The Apple geniuses just simply couldnt figure this one out...despite it being in their shop for 3 days (They probably did not look at it...and asked if they can just wipe out everything and install fresh...i had said NO):
Restart computer and hold Cmd+V when you hear chime. This will start the computer in Verbose mode.
See the messages and see where the system boot fails. In my case, it was some backtrace IOStorageFamily issue with com.paragon-software.
Google may be able to solve your Apple issues - just type the error message in and see if you get any useful suggestions. in most cases - this would be some faulty 3rd party drivers.....
In my case, it was something stupid i had probably installed....I had to boot to safe mode (Hold Shift at boot chime) - open Terminal, delete the folder com.paragon-software.kext from System/Library/Extensions....that fixed the problem. Mavericks is working great now....

Charging cords are covered by the iPhone warranty or their own warranty
if puchased separately. Take your iPhone and the cords to your local
Apple store for evaluation and possible replacement.
