Is Apple ever going to solve our problems?

It seems like so many of us are having problems ~ my dowload worked except I CAN'T PLAY MY MUSIC ~ NO SOUND! Some of us have experienced crashes, lost music, etc & I don't see any help or explanation from Apple at all. Frustration isn't the word to describe this anymore, I would think they would have better customer service especially when customers can take their money elsewhere.

and you've got the time, would you mind posting back to let us know if you had your music files in the standard itunes default location on the PC, or if you had moved them somewhere else? (i'm trying to do some research on this issue ... i know that one other person who got this had her music on an external drive.)

b it's important that if nothing else works you try the "create a new user account" diagnostic technique.

    I am still having this problem occasionally, but one thing I did that helped immensely was to:
    1.) Disk Utility > First Aid > Repair Disk Permissions, and
    2.) Empty Cache in Safari (maybe even for extreme issues just "reset Safari."  It's actually no big deal.)
    I was told to do this; I am by no means an expert, so kudos to my buddy for this solution--hope it helps!

    I bought a new iPhone 4S last week and I have some many problems with the battery the first day, but I thought it must be something normal because of the first time but the few next days it was the same. On Thursday morning I received the iOS 5.0.1 update and I thought it was going to solve the problem but it wasn't!! So I called Apple and they told me I should restore my phone and after that it was supossed to work properly, but it didn't so they told me I should go to an Aple Store and they would change my phone but... it's supossed that all 4S have the same problem so... I would have a new iPhone one week later but with the same problem?? If Apple solve the problem in days, weeks or even months are they going to give us the new (working-properly) phone instead our old one??

    apple has responded to the antenna problem, how about this one? i HATE my iphone becaus eof the proximity sensor problem. i hang up on calls all the time.

    I had the same problem. I took it to the Apple Store. The man helping me said that the sensor was hardware. No software fix he was aware of. I demonstrated the problem to him. He brought out a store phone to compare to. He simply said "I'm sold" and he brought me a new phone immediately. He also placed mine in a special case with my name printed out on the label to be sent to Apple so that they could examine the phone and try to learn more. Indeed, I believe that they are concerned, but I also believe that they will have to have more returns before it becomes a serious issue to them. By the way, my new phone is "better" but I still occasionally "Cheek dial" or hang up on people. I have found that sliding the phone back a bit so that my ear canal is not directly over the sensor works, and I can still hear the call. Hopefully a software fix WILL resolve this, since a reset has helped some.

    All the sudden, as i've read many other's have experienced, I can no longer connect to wifi in my own house with my iphone4s.  Nothing goes to the cloud. No matter what I've tried to fix it, nothing.  Any idea when Apple is going to get their act together and get another update to fix the last update????  Anyone have any luck fixing this - it's not a wifi problem.  It's an Apple issue, it was introduced to the device on their last update - what in the world are we supposed to do to fix it?

    I've been on the new IOS since it was released, and have no problems with wifi.

    Just wondering if Apple is ever going to delete this app's existance and move everything back to the music app or at least improve this one?  I hate the app and don't use it so that means all podcasts have to be downloaded in iTunes and sync'd...I can't download anything new while mobile.  Thanks

    Does anyone know when Apple is going to fix the bug with transfering voice memos from the IPhone 4 to itunes on a computer. I waisted a lot of time trying to figure out why it was not working. Then I read some comments about other people having the same issues.

  • Is Apple ever going to address this force reload problem in Safari?

    Seriously, Safari 5.1 is, for all intents and purposes, completely disabled now.  I leave a lot of windows and tabs up at any given time, and when I return to a window after having been someplace else (usually coding in a plain text environment), the window reloads.  If I try to stop it, I get the dreaded message, "Webpages are not responding, so loading cannot be stopped.  Do you want to force reload this page and all pages in other tabs and windows?"  Obviously I do NOT always want to to that!  As of yesterday afternoon, Safari doesn't run at all, because it has never stopped reloading pages.  It's been doing this for over twelve hours.  I'm reading messages all over the support community that indicate MANY people are having this problem.  When is someone at Apple going to address this??

    As I scan through the forum with problems of my own, I see that the majority of the people all have the same problem. It must be a problem with software unless Apple is trying to force the users to purchase new units. Everyone is scared that their ipods are dead or corrupt and there does not seem to be a fix yet. I had the same thing happen to me and was left to figure out the problem on my own. The automated Apple help was of no assistance at all. Will Apple respond to this problem or let it be dealt with by forum administrators and such?
