Is Apple Making Its Own Bumper for the iPhone 5?
I'm hoping for something similar to this...http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC839ZM/B/apple-iphone-4-bumper-black. I'm not finding anything of the like on the Apple website and am not sure about Apple Stores.

I found a similar bumper on Amazon this morning, just because I like the feel of a bumper vs. a case. I'd read an article saying Apple wasn't going to come out with bumpers for this phone since the main reason they made them was for the antenna issue with the 4. But, i could be wrong....and i'm hoping they do too. Actually was surprised to not see some cases available to buy today on here......

I got a bargin on Belkin silicon bumpers for my Iphone on order from the Apple online store. The retail Apple sales guy told me that its a best one to get and for the price, it was a steal. I agree with him since I know Silicon is a good impact protector and the streamlined look if it is pleasing to the eye. It doesnt however have a circle hole in the back of the protector to showcase the Apple logo, which I find ok for two reasons, it hides the logo thus making the phone harder for thieves when out to ID it as an Apple Iphone and two, it strenghtens the case making it a better impact protector for my incoming Iphone.

IPhone not making its own album for downloaded photos
Why iphone dont do this?
I always download lots of photo from different apps and why they all go to "Camera roll" instead of making a new album for the photos?
example. i downloaded a photo from viber, iphone should create an album named "Viber" on the Photo because the photo is from there and if its from facebook its named "Facebook" or from the internet "Download". If you guys know what i mean, because its like a trash can 1 basket with different things.
and what im asking is album of photos for each apps.
Is there a way or something that can do that?

I agree with you absolutely, I have the same problem and dont be sorry to compare with android, because Apple in his great wish to be very original loosing some quality on functional side. I become Iphone 5s user two weeks ago and day by day I notice more and more things that they are not right. And even here i dont see any wish from apple people to change something.

Are apple going to stop updates for the iPhone 3GS
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if apple are going to stop the updates for the iPhone 3GS and will the apps always work with this iPhone?
At some point in time it's inevitable that the iPhone 3Gs will reach end of life and will no longer be capable of handling updates to iOS, just like the 3G and original iPhone before it.
When is not known, but eventually, it's a near certainty. Just like you can't get updates for older Android phones that no longer meet the minimum requirements for the new versions, or factory original parts for your 1968 Dodge Dart. -
Making a Capitvate movie for the iPhone
Hi all.
I am looking to do online training for an iPhone using Captivate. I have done this before using SOTI and skins for other Windows Devices but SOTI does not support iPhone or Droid (another movie I need to do).
Basically I am looking for an iPhone simulator where my iPhone would be displayed on my screen and I can capture all of the movements on the device using Captivate.
Has anyone done any iPhone training of this sort? I don't want to download the Apple SDK since that's on a Mac and Captivate doesn't run on Macs.
Any help would be appreciated.

ErikaHi Erika-- This probably won't be too much help to you now, but I've seen a demo online of the upcoming Flash CS5 which contains a "Publish to iPhone" option. In theory, you could export out your Captivate project to Flash CS5, then publish from there. (Unless, of course, Adobe includes this publish to iPhone capability in Captivate 5.)

Again, I'm sure this isn't very useful to you now, but depending on your timing need (and Adobe's rollout of CS5), maybe this could be a option for you.

Have you thought about "ScreenFlow" or one of the other Mac screen capture utilities using the Apple iPhone SDK? ScreenFlow captures in QuickTime format, but you could use the Adobe Video Encoder to convert to FLV to use in Captivate. (Convoluted, I realize, but it might achieve what you're looking for...) -

When will Canon start making its' own software for remote control since Pixela is so terrible at it?
It totally sucks that Canon dares sell their camcorder on the fact that YOUR smartphone is the remote control and yet they have ZERO support on the software! At present your chances are far more likely that your smartphone will not work with the Pixela software and that you WILL NOT HAVE A REMOTE CONTROL for your Canon product. Canon seems very uninterested in taking care of this problem.
How many people have bought a Canon product with the promise of your remote control being your smartphone and then not finding that they have a phones that is not “compatible” ?!?!?!? Is Canon expected everyone that buys one of these to then buy a matching phone? This is crazy and it sure puts a terrible light on Canon!
This is my first Canon product and I am NOT impressed! I have the Canon Vixia HF R42 and Android 2.3.4 and I am NOT a happy camper with Canon! Send me my damned remote control for this camera!Canon should have a complete list of all the phones that do not work with this crappy software maker! Better yet, they should include a real remote with their cameras, but at present Canon needs to advertise that more than likely their camcorders with be remoteLESS for you! No Applecare for the iPhone in the Netherlands (Holland)
I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly why Apple does not provide Applecare for the iPhone in the Netherlands (Holland). I have had very great (actually amazing) help with Apple via Applecare for all their products I have purchased (past and present), yet when dealing with a recent iPhone problem, I have had terrible support from (the affiliates) of T-Mobile (the official mobile provider for the iPhone in the Netherlands). Hence, if I could, I would purchase Applecare for my iPhone in a split-second. But, as said, it isn't available here in Holland for some reason.
Does anyone know exactly why?
(P.S. Applecare employees in Holland are more than welcome to help answer this question!Apple do not answer such questions here - and their staff wouldn't even do so at a personal level.

Do I need to pay for the iPad version of an app if I have it for the iPhone
I received an iPad as a gift from my wife, and I also own an iPhone. Since there are some apps that work on both systems, do I need to pay again for an iPad app that I currently have on my iPhone? App in question is MLB.TV. I currently own it for the iPhone and would like to get it for the iPad (since I that the iPad version is really good). Do I need to pay twice for the same app?
The apps are divided into three categories on my iTunes:
1) iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad apps (These will transfer to your iPad and are optimized for iPad, automatically, or uncheck any you don't want on your iPad under "Apps" when your iPad is connected to your computer to sync. These apps have a + sign by them to indicate that they are for multi-platforms.)
2)iPhone and iPod Touch apps (You can use these also, on your iPad. These are usually vertical apps and you can select 2X after opening them on your iPad to make them bigger. The resolution may not be very good on these apps, since they are for the smaller screens.)
3) iPad apps (These have to be purchased specifically for the iPad. They usually look and perform great since they are made for iPad. There are many free versions of iPad apps which I already had on my iPhone and iPod Touch.) -
Why hasn't apple created its own USB or USB adapter for their products.? Since an iPhone or iPad make traveling and doing school work or on the job work, why not create a USB to make transferring information easier too.?
In some folks' version of the world, you have plenty of ways. YOu have the aforementioned services, you have iCloud, all you need is an internet connection and you're good to go. And that works perfectly...if you always have the internet.
If you want more non-internet dependant ways, then the best way to let Apple know is to send them feedback. They don't monitor or respond to this forum (Beyond removing rule breaking posts) but they do at least log feedback. However, the lack of a file manager will always be an obstacle. There are some apps out there that have at least a pseudo file manager - as in the ability to move documents into multiple other apps. I have Readdle Docs which I can use to download and move things around with, but again, back to the internet or wireless. -
Do the Imac support Corel graphics software? Or does Apple make its own graphics software?

There are thousands of graphics apps available for OS X. A very quick look on Corel's web site showed Corel Draw is not available for OS X, probably another reason Corel is in sad financial shape. Apple does not include any graphics creation software when you buy an iMac what is included is OS X and the iLife suite of products.
If you are interested in a substitute for Corel Draw then I'd recommend using Google to search for OS X alternatives, I'm sure you will not have a problem finding many suitable alternatives. -
I have an ipad3, iPhone3gs and iPhone5, my problem is my apple ID works all 3 devices but I need a second ID for the iPhone 5. How do I delete my ID and set up a new one for the iPhone5 but keeping my own apple ID for the iPad and iPhone 3GS.

Go to: Apple Express Lane;
Under Product Categories choose iTunes;
Then choose iTunes Store;
Then choose Account Management;
Press Continue;
Now choose iTunes Store Security and answer the bullet questions, then click Continue;
Sign in with your Apple ID and press Continue;
Under Contact Options fill out the information and advise iTunes that you would like your security/challenge questions reset;

It is kind of round about way to get in
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
1) on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
2) Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select "done", in the upper right corner
3) sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the security questions.
4) At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
