Is Audigy 2 ZS Gamer compatible with Optical Digital I/O Card II? HomeTheater Digital connecti

Hi,
I want to buy the Platinum Dri've for my Audigy 2 ZS Gamer but there isn't in the creative shop web site. I saw the Optical Digital I/O Card II and I want to know if is compatible with my sound card.
I want to connect the sound card to my HomeTheater (SONY) via optical or coaxial (digital).
If there is another way please let me know.
SincerelyVAMaresBoy

Are you referring to this card?
http://us.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=3&subcategory=55&product=30
As what is shown on the webpage, it only support those mention sound card and is not meant for Audigy 2 ZS.
You can get a minijack to coaxial cable and connect from the sound card through the digital out jack to the coaxial input on your speaker system.

  • Games compatible with ipod nano (gen 4)?

Where are the games in the iTunes store that are compatible with ipod nano (gen 4 ...the tall skinny one without the camera)? Or have they been replaced/ deleted? 'Cause I tried finding them, and they're nowhere to be found; I know they used to have a bunch of 'em- I still have the old Monopoly version that works with my iPod nano 4th gen. But even that seems to have disappeared from the store. Does anyone know if it is still possible to find games compatible with older iPods, or has Appple tried to make the older models obsolete by no longer offering apps for them?
Any help at all is greatly appreciated, thank you.

i have tried looking for them as well they take the games off to make room for new modles. that is the only down side of having a nano that is why is want the ipod touch. and do not go in websites you will mess up your computer i have the same ipod and computer as you trust me don't bother looking you are just wasting your time.

  • IPod Click Wheel games compatible with ipod nano 5th Generation

I've found the iPod Click Wheel Games by clicking the triangle that appears next to the "App Store" tab and clicking the third option, "iPod Click Wheel Games." But when I look at the details of any of the games it says they are compatible with:
"This game is compatible with iPod nano (3rd and 4th generation), iPod classic, and iPod (5th generation) only. It cannot be played on your computer, nor is it compatible with other iPod models or iPhone."
Does this mean that I cannot use them on my iPod nano 5th generation? or is the iPod nano being referred to as "iPod (5th generation)"
I guess it just seems silly that a game is only compatible with older versions or that the newest iPod nano can NOT operate older games.
Can anyone explain this? or has anyone tried to download one of these iPod Click Wheel Games and found that it actually Does work for an iPod nano 5th generation?

    Can anyone explain this?
I can't but Apple should be able too - U.S. iPod and Mac technical support: 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273)

  • Audigy 2 zs gamer conflicting with c

I have a strange conflict between my sound card and my cdrw dri've. The sound card is an audigy 2 zs gamer edition and the cdrw is a liteon, I can't seem to find the exact model #. I narrowed the conflict down to the spdif connector, when the spdif is connected between the dri've and the sound card during a hard reset or cold boot, the dri've's access light goes solid and it does not show up under device manager. However, during a soft reset this does not occur (assumming it was fixed before the reset). Now I've found that if unplug the spdif, turn the computer on, plug the connector back in, then proceed with a warm reset, everything works fine. But I don't want to do this every time the power goes out or I need to turn off my pc. Is there any way to permanetly resolve this problem without leaving the spdif unplugged?

    Bsoddart,
Try moving the Audigy 2 ZS to a different PCI slot and see if that fixes the conflict as this is most likely the cause of the problem.

  • Is there a way to download older versions of games compatible  with ios 4.2 from itunes?

i have an ipod touch G2 and i just had to factory reset my device, and i was wondering if there is a way to get the older versions of games via itunes that are compatible with ios 4.2?

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

  • Mc Mini Compatible with optic amplyfier

    Hi,
I just bought a Mac Mini and I'm having troubles with my amplifier. I've bought the connection wire to make it optical, but it seems that my amplifier wouldn't decode the sign. It's a Marantz 5.1 system, (SR4300) and I don't know if this is some kind of confirguration problem or that they aren't compatible. In the Mac Mini System Oreferences I've already chosen "Optical" but it doesn't work. Any ideas?
    Many thanks in advance!!

and in the amplifier I'm also selecting Digital Out 2.
No this should be digital IN 2 on the amplifier:
You may need to select the analogue /digital selector button on the front panel:

  • Can you recommend any games compatible with i phone 3 running IOS 4.2.1 suitable for young kids?

Just trying to set up an old i phone 3 with some games and struggling to find some that will run on IOS 4.2.1 that are suitable for younger kids.  Any recommendations?

Considering the age of the phone and the fact that app developers have been discontinuing support for most iOS lower than iOS 5.0, it could be very difficult. I just want to warn you of that as you wait for some answers here. I don't have children that play with a separate device anymore. Both of mine are college age and have their own iPhones, so their taste in games would probably not meet yours!

  • Is there a version of Scrabble or a similar game compatible with OS X 10.9?

This is the legit (Hasbro), Mavericks-compatible version.
Hasbro has slapped on some hideous 1990s kiddie graphics, but it does work.

  • Audigy 1 Platinum box compatible with X-

I've never seen this question asked so apologies if this has already been covered. I have an Audigy Platinum and now want to upgrade to X-Fi.
Is it possible to go for the XtremeMusic X-Fi and use my existing breakout box or have the interfaces / connections all changed now - the Fataty internal box looks the same as the Platinum's external box which is why I'm asking.
    Thanks for any help received.

Ok thanks I'd thought as much as I ordered up an Elite Pro Yesterday.
Any further timescales for deli'very for the drivers - I'm aware of the fact that there is a workaround but I'd much rather get the proper drivers.
    Thanks.

  • Huge Core Audio issue with Optical digital input (S/PDIF) on MacPro

    Hello to all,
I just realized that it's just impossible to switch the digital optical input (S/PDIF) on a MacPro to 48kHz, it immediately reswitches to 44.1 !!!
To reproduce (not sure of the english names, french OS here):
    - launch "Audio MIDI configuration"
    - select "Digital audio input" in Properties
    - try to switch Format to 48kHz / 24bit
In a few seconds, the format reswitches to 44.1 !!!
Even if feeding the optical input with a correct S/PDIF signal at 48kHz/24bit, no way to change the sample frequency to something other than 44.1, resulting in wrong tonality or distorted sound.
Please Apple, fix this ASAP, this is just not usable in a pro or even semi-pro environment !
Test on Leopard 10.5.8 and Snow Leo 10.6.2. I'm pretty sure it worked with Tiger.
    Bye.

Thanks Keith, but i don't think Logic users could have a clue on this issue (no pun intended).
I'm a Pro Tools and Nuendo user, so i'm a bit reluctant to ask in a Logic forum... Too many fanboys there IMHO...
    Thanks anymway.
    Bye.

  • Rev. A Beige G3 DT compatible with USB 2.0 PCI cards?

Having had a lot of luck upgrading and updating some old Sawtooth G4s I decided to try my hand at something more interesting - an old Rev. A Beige G3 that fortuitously dropped into my lap.
I tried installing a 5-port USB 2.0 card with an NEC chipset, since apparently NEC's chipsets are the most compatible chipsets with the Mac. However, I've been getting Type 11 errors on startup everytime. Curiously, an older 2-port USB card works fine.
So my main question is: has anyone else seen this occurring? Have other successfully used NEC-based USB 2.0 PCI cards on their Rev. A Beige G3s?

Sorry for the inordinately long time it took me to reply. The OS running on the G3 is 9.2.2.
After doing some digging around I discovered a trick with replacing the OS 9 USB adapter card extensions with those from the installer for USB Adapter Card 1.4.1 updater. What I did was that I took out of my extensions folder the following files: USB Authoring Support, USB Device Extension, USB Software Locator, and USBAppleMonitor. I then ran the 1.4.1 update, and everything seems to work - the computer recognized the card and USB mice and hard drives were detected by the system.
I'm normally not one for mixing and matching extensions, but I'm glad the card now works.

  • HT1338 How do I update osx 10.4.8 if the network admin utility is not compatible with my apple airport extreme and I an't connect to the internet?

I was given an iMac desktop computer, operating system OSX 10.4.8 (2011). The network admin utility is not compatiable with my airport extreme router, and I am unable to connect to the internet to update the software.   Can someone please tell me how to update the software or download a newer version on the network admin, or how to connect this computer to the internet?

  • The new version is not compatible with my digital finger signiture. Will this be fixed? If not, I will need to go back to the previous version of firefox

My HP laptop has a digital signature for accessing my pages such as email, facebook, etc. Since I updated firefox, this is no longer compatible and does not work. It is very painful, I really want and need to use it. Does this mean I need to downgrade to the previous version of firefox?

EgisTec, who now provide the HP Simplepass application, have made an update of the scanner software for Firefox 4, for details see https://support.mozilla.com/questions/814397
