2. make a new company UK localization - new company HAVE a CR system Template.
3. Make a new company US localization - new company HAVE a CR system Template.
now my initial conclusion is "Localization issue"
is my observation correct? please help me understand this issue.
Thanks
regards,
Fidel

Hi Fidel,
In Indonesia here, we always use Australian localization, and in 8.81, it doesn't come out with system CR template like you said.

I purchased an iPad2 in the US. What do I need to use it & charge it while traveling in Australia & New Zealand?

If it's 3G, and the AT&T version, then you will need local micro-sims in those 2 countries if you want to be able to use 3G whilst there (and avoid potenial roaming costs with AT&T).
For charging you should just need plug adapters - my UK charger has 100 to 240 v (50 and 60hz) in faint grey writing on it, and I believe both NZ and Australia are 230 V  50 hz so you shouldn't need a converter.

  • I have had no choice but to reconfigure my computer and couldn't back up my itunes, how do i do this in new zealand? I have downloaded icloud and it shows all my purchases back to 2009 how do i download these again?

I have had no choice but tok reconfigure my computer and couldn't back up my itunes, how do i do this in new zealand, i have downloaded i cloud but this does not seem to work due to being outside the USA.

Currently you can only re-download music purchases in the US, it hasn't been rolled out to the rest of the world yet. Have you not got a backup of your purchases on external or flash drives or CDs/DVDs ? If so then you can copy that back onto your computer and add them to iTunes.

Purchased an online number in New Zealand for my parents to use.
    The number is 06 880 0144.
I tried it - no luck.
My parents tried it - no luck.
I tried it again, 3 days later - no luck.
I would consider myself to be a high end user of technology, I've been programming in C++ for 15 years, and I know how the international dialing system works. I don't believe we are doing anything wrong, like dialing the wrong number, or not waiting the 30 minutes for it to activate, or using incorrect dialing codes (I regularly call other numbers in New Zealand, and everything works fine).
Do any of the "Skype in" numbers work in New Zealand? Or is this just an elaborate con job to take money out of our accounts without delivering anything of worth?

First check your privacy settings are set to ''Allow calls from anyone''.Then change them to "Allow SkypeIn calls from Only people from my Contacts List".Save and wait for 5 minutes.Log out from your Skype account and log back in. • New MacBook which does have Firewire - YES!

What may have been missed by many here is that the MacBook White, which is offered on Apple's website new, still has built-in Firewire. If Firewire is important to you, it is still there. Note the specs:
    http://www.apple.com/macbook/white/specs.html

Here's an interesting note about the old (new?) white MacBook. I was discussing this lack of firewire situation with a salesperson at the Apple store here in Ginza. I asked him how long the whitebooks would be available. He said that they would be available as long as supplies would last. They are not being built any more. I purposed to him that I would like to buy a new portable Mac sometime before the New Year. He said that he couldn't guarantee that they (the white macbooks) would be available through the next month. I don't want to buy one of these portable (hence, drop-able) machines used or refurbed. So, to keep the firewire port on my new MacBook, I have to buy a new (white) one asap (sorry, that's impossible) or give up firewire on a new, aluminum one (also impossible). The form factor of the MacBookPro is just too big for me and I do not want to spend the extra money just to get a firewire port that I use everyday.
I am hoping for a rev B version of the aluminum MacBook to show up but I know that this may be a fool's hope.
It was interesting to watch the salesperson's face continue to drop and finally fade to a frown as I spoke with him. I didn't criticize him or try to make him feel bad but both of us realized that he didn't have a good answer to give me. He actually tried to use the "all the new HD cameras have USB ports" argument that we all have heard but I told him that that wasn't really true and, if that was what Apple was really thinking, ("..everyone go out and buy a new HD video camera to work with our port-crippled Macs") then why didn't they also include something to output that HD video to (i.e. Blue-ray drive)?
I am still totally amazed at Apple's decision here and the lack of response to all the critical comments about this poor judgement on their part.

  • Im from new zealand and i have i phone 6 plus will my phone work in america?

i phone 6 plus 34 gb will it work in america?

If the phone is unlocked, you can use it with a GSM carrier here - most likely T-Mobile or AT&T. You probably won't get 4G/LTE but 3G should work fine.

  • How can I set up my iPad to work wirelessly in New Zealand?

We are going to stay at our parent's place in New Zealand, and they have only a very slow dial-up connection to the internet.
We want to take our Apple iPad 4, MacBook 4.1.1 and iPhone 4 and use them wirelessly while we are there.
Last time we used the macBook to connect, but it was so maddeningly slow and we had to disconnect their phone, and  feel there must be a better way.
Does anyone know how we can log on via the ipad without having to go up to the local library?

You need the first Internet connection in order to share another connection with the other devices. If you use the Mac and Internet Sharing, then the connection is only going to be as fast as that connection and maybe a little slower since you are all sharing that connection.
You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear as the saying goes, you cannot speed up the connection by any magical means.
You should be able to use the personal hotspot feature on the phone if the carriers there support it.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4517
You might want to look into a MIFI hotspot as well but once again, you would need some sort of plan for it in New Zealand.

  • Can I use a 2760 in New Zealand?

I asked my local O2 mobile phone shop whether I could use my 2760 in New Zealand and I was informed "No".  However, when I checked the website, www.gsmarena.com, it told me that the phone supports GSM 900 & 1800 which are sufficient to work in New Zealand.  Does anyone know what the correct answer is?  Thanks. Tony

Generally speaking, any  phone bought anywhere in Europe, Africa and Asia will work in any other country in all three - the only exceptions being Japan and South Korea where there are no GSM services at all.
This is a useful link worth keeping for any time you travel:
    http://www.mobileworldlive.com/maps/
It gives details of all countries in the world and what services are offered by the networks in each.

  • Overheating, medium write error and warranty coverage in New Zealand

The subject line pretty much sums it all up! Just recently my beloved Macbook is starting to act up when I attempt to burn music CD's (from itunes to CD). I reduce the burn speed down, which worked once, but not again. It keeps rejecting the CD saying "medium write error", yet I've used these exact CD's before without problem. When it rejects the CD it sounds like it's working really, really hard - the motor spinning inside is really audible and it gets very hot and my last attempt I swear I smelt burning!?
I brought my Macbook in California, but now residing in New Zealand. Does my warranty extend here? Is this covered under warranty? I checked my serial number against the warranty before and it said I was covered until September 2009 under the Apple Care Protection Plan.
    Please help!
    Much love
    Lara

It should be covered no matter where you are. Contact Apple Support or go by an apple store for help. They will let you know your options for getting it fixed.

  • UK app needed but currently in New Zealand

I am from the UK  but I am currently in New Zealand, so currently have a New Zealand iTunes account.  Can I temporarily switch it back to a uk one so I can download an app which is only available at the UK store and then switch it back to New  Zealand? and still access the app of course.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

You need to be here in the UK with a UK billing address on your account to download items from the UK store.
Hi KP, as you may know I move around from the US to the UK like a butterfly. I have 2 accounts (UK and US) and they both work as expected. In the UK I can login to the US store, purchase and download apps, same applies in reverse, I can log into the UK store while in the US.
So I don't think you're correct in that you must be in the same country as the store, you just need a viable account/bank billing address in the country.
You could be on Mars (assuming you could get an internet connection)
To the OP I would suggest that you try the English account credentials (you should get a message that you are being connected to the UK store)

  • IBook publishing from New Zealand

Has anyone managed to publish an iBook in New Zealand?

I have created an iBook using iBook Author. It successfully uploaded to publish, but when I go to territories and copyrighht it has a list of what countries you book can be available in and New Zealand is not one of them. So I was wondering if that was the case? I have New Zealand ticked as a territory in my personal settings.

I have iMovie 8.0.6 and an iPhone 4S.  I took hours of videos on vacation (Australia and New Zealand) and want to make a movie.  I've imported the first batch into iMovie and started the project.  I just realized that I shot both horizontally and vertically and when I preview (on full-screen) what I've combined, first it's wide-screen, then it's tall, narrow with wide black sides.
The film looks choppy, no flow, since it alternates horizontally and vertically.
I can import the vertical clips two ways:  "Full-Original Size", or "Large 960x540."  But the vertical clips have very short, fat people.
This didn't happen with my Flip HD; the movies are smooth and terrific.  My heart is breaking.....please, how can I make the videos match?

Yes, I'd like to use all the video I shot, put it together with music, titles, etc. and make it consistant.  when it goes from full screen to this vertical, narrow clip, it's very awkward.....and it's so narrow, it's hard to see what I'm looking at; my eyes don't make the adjustment quickly.

  • HT1918 Hi,  I have moved from Australia to New Zealand and cant update my account to an nz credit card...  What do i need to do?

Hi,  I have moved from Australia to New Zealand and cant update my account to an nz credit card...  What do i need to do?

    Hi...
Your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside. So you need to establish a credit account with a bank in NZ.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

can I purchase from two different stores ie store in New Zealand and Store in Australia and  how do I sync updates on applications purchased from either store?  Do I have to switch ID's in my settings each time or is there an easier way.  The trouble is I set up my appleid in new Zealand and so all icloud and itunes and app stores are under New Zealand Apple ID I have since moved to Australia. Im a real beginner at this stuff so bare with me pse.

I'm in the same boat as you -- except that I manage both a school lab (volunteer job) and macs in the enterprise (pay job).  What I think we need is the Education Volume Purchasing Program
    http://www.apple.com/education/volume-purchase-program/faq.html
Unfortunately this all seems a little rough around the edges -- for example, I have found updates for AppStore apps on the support.apple.com updates download site, but then when I install them via ARD they don't actually update the software.  (The AppStore icons still show as needing the updates, and the version info reports the old version.)  The documentation is also vague about which AppleID to use in which circumstance.  I think they just haven't finished thinking through the implications of the various procedures and policies upon the various kinds of customers.  When we deployed Mountain Lion on the school lab, we made an install usb and went around and installed it on each computer -- and it appears that you are on the honor system as far as paying for all of the licenses that you install.  We did!  But they appear to have no way to enforce it.
So far, I have only deployed 9 Lion macs in my day job, and our "solution" to the AppStore showing updates problem has been to drag the AppStore icon off of the users' docks so they don't see them!

  • I have created an album in iphoto but can't buy it because I still use iphoto 08 (version 7.0). If I upgrade to version 7.0, can I print my album in New Zealand or Australia?

I have created an album in iphoto but can't buy it because I still use iphoto 08 (version 7.0). If I upgrade to version 8.0 which is iphoto 09 can I print my album in New Zealand?

    Yes  --  http://store.apple.com/us/help/print_products/routing
but to upgrade you will need to purchase an iLife DVD from ebay or Amazon or other source - older versions of iPhoto are not available from the App Store - either iLife '09 or '11 will work on 10.6.8
beware that sometimes books (albums are logical organzational elements in iPhoto) sometimes will change with upgrades so you may need to make some changes after upgrading - be sure to carefully preview prior to ordering the book
