I am Venkatesh, completed my B.Sc CS in Bangalore university in 2005 but i have 2 back logs in final year but after my completion the next year they changed the syllabus and i could not completed till now i was working in BPO as network admin. Now i joined in SAP-BASIS course after that i can try in internal job posting for Basis in my company. if i have atleast another 4yrs experience then i can join outside with my degree. now i am planning to do distance education in B.Tech (IT) in KSOU or any other university or please suggest me any valuable university or else For B.Sc or BCA please suggest any Distance Learning university which has more valuable. If i do B.tech IT in Distance whether it has value or not.
Also please confirm if i complete my degree in distance learning or correspondence is that degree has value or worth.
My dream is settle in SAP. I am fearing whether i will not get in SAP due to my age. Now my age is 29yrs. In SAP domain is there any age restriction for job.
Kindly advice some valuable universities in India or South India (KA, TN, AP)
Please Please please help me out to chase my dream!!!

Distance learning and mpeg video

I have a customer that is looking for a solution to a distance learning problem. The essential part of the problem is that he has an ATM cloud that has video equipment connected to it that is working just fine. He now wants to be able to expand this to an arbitrary IP endpoints.
I am thinking that with the deployment of a 354x server to act as the gateway/gatekeeper, that the endpoints can register to the gatekeeper and then have dynamic conferences defined to connect endpoints to.
I have looked at the documentation and it does not look like the systems will support mpeg1 or mpeg2 streams.
Anyone know if it does or will support mpeg2?

I_selcrit_values has values even no query is selectd on the screen

Dear Experts,
Importing parameter i_selcrit_values of method IF_POWL_FEEDER~GET_OBJECTS of feeder class CL_HRHAP00_STARTPG_POWL
has values even if no data is passed on selection screen.Because of this data is getting filtered and user is not able to see whole data.
Also this is not happening for all users.
This issue we are facing in performance document in PMS.

You should have your own email address. An Apple ID (which is one person) is an email address. One email address cannot be two Apple IDs.

I am not aware about the GUI table interface through which you can change the flag.
But i guess there is an option
Go to transaction se11 --> write /AIN* in the table name field.
You will find all the table names related to SAP AII. In the search list now available to you, search for the word "Number".
Then you will find all the table names related to number ranges.
Here you can search the table which will be having that flag field. If you find this table,
go into that table and make that entry manually.

Column has values in RSA3 but comes blank in PSA

Hi All,
I have added some code for datasource 0REFX_4 and extracting data into an ODS. My issue is that the column 0RECONTRACT has values in RSA3 but comes blank in PSA/ODS.
Another funny thing is that when I do selection with company code in infopackage and extract, the column 0RECONTRACT gets filled!! It doesn't get filled only when i extarct without selection. Can any of you help me resolve this?

Narayan, so strange ! If I undertand, In RSA3 with or without selection, the column 0RECONTRACT gets filled. The problem is from BW (Infopackage). You can make a test:
In you code to select the value to 0RECONTRACT (I don´t know the R/3 field), you put a "loop", in the start of exit function. Start Infopackage and goes to R/3 via SM50 transaction em DEBUG exit.
Loop like this:
v_stop = 1.
while v_stop = 1.
v_stop = 1.
endwhile.
Look the values from table C_T_DATA. Maybe the field that you use to select 0RECONTRACT is blank, when you start the load from BW. I´ve tried to find some SAP Notes, but nothing.

In the line editor, specify the table field arguments enclosed by '&' symbol as follows:

Save -> Activate.
In the Print Program, specify following code:

There are many Trial Balance report, which tells, run trial balance plan v/s actual (Tcode: S_PL0_86000029).
I want to know where i can enter planned values in SAP R/3 and what all activities i need to do to maintain planned values.
I am in SAP EHP5.

JCo getting truncated value from SAP when field data type is RAW

We are trying to fetch data from a SAP-AII table by using JCo using the RFC RFC_READ_TABLE.
We are getting incomplete data when the data type of the column is RAW in a particular table.A typical case is:
Table Name: /AIN/DM_DEVCTR
Field : CLIENT                Type: CLNT    Length:3      Value: 100                                                            (SAP Generated)
Field: DEVCTR_GUID    Type:RAW      Length:16    Value: 306F50F53805ED488DE9797AC86B5728     (SAP Generated)
Filed: DEVCTR_ID         Type:CHAR    Length:128   Value: KDEVICECONTROLLER                             (User input)
For the fields CLIENT and DEVCTR_ID we get the entire value (including blank spaces) but for DEVCTR_GUID we get only 16 characters whereas SAP-AII stores a value that is 32 characters in length. How do we fetch the actual value instead of the truncated value?

Hi Ali,
Every transaction which you create have some predefined rule in the form of procedure which is attached in the transaction level. You can follow below path and check for the transaction which are the rule maintained.
CRM->Basic setting-> Define transaction types.
Search for your transaction type and double link in order to see all the rules attached to transaction level.
You also need to define which item categories you wanted to configure for particular transaction type which you all ready have done it seems.
You also need to define pricing procedure to the transaction where you need to checked for errors.
Below is the path
CRM->Basic setting-> Define transaction type-> open your transaction
step 2:click on assignment of business transaction categories than select category as Sales
than click on Customizing Header option to see attached pricing procedure with it.here you need to check for your error.
to check partner determination rule please follow below path in SPRO. -> partner determination procedure
Check in head of transaction which partner procedure is attached.
Than search for partner determination procedure in below path.
I hope this will help you to validate the setting for your transaction and will be helpful to solve your issue.
