Is call forwarding to my mobile included in my Eur...

I signed up for a Europe Unlimited subscription with an online number under the premise that call forwarding to my mobile is free.... I am still unsure having read various posts whether or not this the case?
Could you please clarify whether or not my subscription covers this?
Thanks,
Michael.

  • CUPC 8.6 call forward to voicemail

    Hi!
I am using Cisco Personal Communicator (CUPC) 8.6 and also CUCM 8.6. I have CUPC in Deskphone mode, connected to a 6945 IP Phone. I also have Unity Connection where my voicemail box is hosted. When I want to setup call forward to voicemail button in cupc option, it is not working. CUPC will not handle the options I setup seconds before. If I manually put in a call forward to extension number of voice mail pilot call forwarding is working. also call forwarding to my mobile is working.
I checked End User settings, IP Phone is associated to my user, also CTI controll is enabled on device and line settings. user privileges are correct. I tried it on jabber client where it works fine. I also restarted CTI and Callmanager Services on the Servers.
Does anyone has an Idea if this is a general bug in CUPC or does anyone can tell me what the problem might be?
    Thanks!
    René

    Hi,
If at least one of these phones is set to CF to VM then it will, if not, then no.
If none of your phones is set to CF to VM CUCM will not send them to VM, that is expected, if you need to ring, phone A, and if it is not answered to go to phone B, C... and so on, and send the caller to VM after you have reached all of these then use a hunt group, (the pilot can be set to CF to VM if nobody answers), if you need to ring all phones at the same time so someone can pick this up, use a hunt group with a broadcast logic.
If this is for a single user, check 'single number reach' (SNR) or mobility on CUCM.
Bottom line, there is no way to send a caller to VM if none of the phones is set to CF to VM.

  • Call forwarded Caller ID

    Hi Folks,
I have an issue in a new Voip deployment whereby when a user call forwards their internal phone to an external mobile, the site prefix is being added to the Originating caller ID on the destination mobile phone and trailing digits are stripped.
    For example..
    the site prefix is +43166105
A user outside the company with mobile phone number 06991968XXXX calls an internal extension that is call forwarded to 0664545XXXX, when the call rings on 06664545XXX, the caller ID is shown as +431661056991968, with last 4 digits missing
The site has two voice gateways, GW2 for specific mobile phone calls, and GW1 for regular calls and all other mobile calls, when a user call forwards to a mobile phone that is reachable via GW2, the caller ID is showing correctly (both g/w are connected to different providers)
I have a translation pattern on both g/w that strips the leading zero's of the calling number and also makes sure call type is presented properly to the provider.
Generally, i would be calling the provider, however the site are telling me that this worked OK on the previous PBX based setup.
Here are some relevant pieces of configuration information, and the ISDN debug of an affected call, as you can see, we are providing the correct digits to the provider, yet we always see the prefix regardless
I have tried changing the numbering type in the translation pattern from any to unknown and it has the effect of then showing no digits of the Caller ID, it will just show the prefix number.

  • Q about call forwarding

I have a question about call forwarding. I know how to start and stop the call forwarding and I get the part about being charged minutes for the forwarded call. My question is if I receive a call from a verizon wireless customer and I have it forwarded to my home number which is in my top ten, will I still be charged for any minutes for the call.
    Thanks

Thanks for the information budone and SuzyQ.
nightrider13,  your community leaders are correct. If you set up call forwarding on your mobile phone and have your calls sent to your home phone, each call that comes through is sent through our system and billed according to the type of call it is. If its a Verizon wireless customer, it will be mobile to mobile. If the number is listed on your friends and family, it will be no charge to your mobile account. The only charges we can not verify are to your home phone service.

  • Can I forward my UK mobile calls to a Skype Number...

    Hi
I am moving to France for 6 mths and want to forward all UK mobile calls to a Skype number. I want to know will my clients realise I am abroad? will there be a foreign ring tone and will they get charged a premium rate?
Ideally I want them to call my mobile and seamlessly be transfered to my skype number and not be charged any extra.
Do I need to buy a UK or French Skype number?
Any help of comments would be most useful.

  • Automatic call forwarding (time based) to mobile number in CUCM 9.1.1

    Hi
I need to configure time based automatic call forwarding to mobile number. Can we do this from CUCM 9.1.1 ?
Example : Ex 2000 need to forward to 01111188888 in every friday after 9.00pm
    Regds
    $

There is one way you can still achieve it by using the Mobile connect (SNR).
In the Remote Destination you have the option to ring your mobile based on your requirement.
Please see the attached screenshot for the same.
So user need to enable the Mobile connect on friday all calls will go to the Mobile phone # (Remote destination).
Also delay before ringing should be 0 ms.
Please refer to the Mobile connect configuration guide for the same.
    Kind Regards,
    Raaj.

  • 8330 Call Forwarding...How do I set the number of rings before calls are forwarded?

8330 Call Forwarding...How do I set the number of rings before calls are forwarded? Right now it instantly forwards my calls but I don't want that. I want to change it so that let's say that if after 5 rings I don't answer the call is forwarded. I've looked everywhere for an answer but have had no luck. Any help would be appreciated. I am with Virgin Mobile if this makes a difference.
    Thank you

Well, call forwarding is a feature provided by your carrier -- it is not a function of the device. However it works for your carrier is how it works. Actually, from what I understand about call forwarding, it normally is an all-or-nothing circumstance...calls forward to the number you've asked them to be forwarded to, keeping you in a DND status. Regardless, though, if your carrier tells you how it works on their system, there's nothing that the device can do to override that. Unless there is some kind of 3rd party app that would do it, bypassing (somehow) the carrier network CF feature...but I've never heard of such a thing.

  • Call forwarding setup having a subscription

Hi, I have a subscription and through skype desktop ?'m not able to setup the call forwarding. An error pop-up inform me that I have not enough credit!!! Yes, I have no credit, I pay for a subscription. So, I can setup the call forwarding via web. Thanks

You must have a subscription that does not include mobile phones. Check to see if that is the case if so you will need skype credit to forward the phone.

If you are not able to forward to a French landline number, and you have the Unlimited World subscription, then you should be able to open a support ticket with Skype and be eligible for an online chat with them.  French landline phones (not sure about phones starting with 09, the non-geographic numbers being offered by VOIP services in France, but certainly those numbers starting with 01 through 05) should be covered by that subscription. When forwarding to a French number, drop the first zero in the French number, which should then have a total of 9 digits after the +33 country code.

  • Subscription (world wide) + call forwarding (malay...

About a month ago I signed up for WW unlimited calling. I work in Malaysia & live in Thailand. I WANTED to set up call forwarding to my malaysian landline so I could recieve calls. IT DOES NOT WORK. I have tried to find the answer (a viable answer) to this little snaffu. It would be nice if an answer were forthcoming from a real live breathing skype tech personnel. And yes, I've tried different combinations of using the area code, deleting the initial zero, keeping the initial zero, and all other combinations there of.

    stephannie1969 wrote:
Thanks ~ If I am calling my landline from another landline in the same city I use this: 324-XXXX. If I am calling from a mobile/cell or from outside the city on a landline, I use this: 04-324-XXXX.
Whether I use the 04, just the 4 or nothing, I do not get an error message from skype.
Ususally when calling internationally, the zero is dropped from the number I'm trying to reach.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to answer. It's kind of you to do so when it's not your job.
where *does* one find a skype tech? hmmmmm
Are you also including the Malaysian country code +60 before the number in your Skype program/app?  You're correct in dropping the leading zero in the 04 area code, so you should be able to reach the number with +60 4 324 XXXX from Skype.  All calls to telephones from Skype must be dialed with a country code, even if you are in the same city or country as the phone number. Can you dial that number from your Skype program or app?  You should be able to get through, with the subscription you have, if that number is a landline number and not a mobile.
As for finding a tech, or someone from Skype's support group, you can get to them through the Support link near the top of this page.  If you have a subscription for calling phones, you can get to a live online chat with someone.  Or you can submit a ticket.  I don't mind answering questions, since Skype is a useful service.  Sometimes the online documentation could be clearer, or maybe rewritten by someone more fluent in a given language, but all in all I'm happy with Skype.  It saves me lots of $$$.

You didn't mention what subscription you have, and the number you are trying to forward to.  If you know Skype is acknowledging your subscription, it sounds like the number you are trying to forward to may not be covered by your subscription. If you list the number in a reply to this message thread, please replace the last 4 digits of the number with XXXX.  We don't need to see the full number, but everything up to the last 4 digits would be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.
Note that many subscriptions only cover calls to landline phones, not to mobiles or other special numbers.  Skype offers subscriptions that include calling to mobiles, but not too many of them are of the "unlimited" variety due to the costs for calling mobiles in much of the world.

how to delete the number saved in CALL FORWARDING list? seems like the number cannot be deleted in CALL FORWARDING list, i tried several times...
he thing is, here are three numbers in the call forwarding list, one of them were set up by mistake, and none of them can be deleted.......it brothers me all the time. i already turn it off, but the number list is still there...

Hello dennis130915 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
The image you have uploaded is unable to be displayed.
Call Forwarding is a carrier controlled feature. Most likely, the number you see could be for the Voice Mail server.
It's advised you call your mobile service provider to further assist with this feature.
    Thanks!

  • Call Forward to Voicemail

I am having an issue when forwarding to another extension.  I know this is probably a simple answer but I'm stumped.
I am going into the DN Configuration page for extension A.  Under Call Forward, for the destination I am entering extension B for:
    Forward Busy Internal
    Forward Busy External
    Forward No Answer Internal
    Forward No Answer External
    Forward No Coverage Internal
    Forward No Coverage External
    Forward on CTI Failure
    Forward Unregistered Internal
    Forward Unregistered External
And I am unchecking the Voicemail check boxes.
Then I am doing the same for extension B.
But when I have it setup this way, each extension will bounce to the other and will not go to voicemail.  It will forward back and forth.
    Any suggestions?
