Is Cisco 2901 router suffering from the heartbleed problem?

I am not quite familiar with networking product. So may be this is a stupid question.
We have recently bought a Cisco 2901 router.
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/routers/2901-integrated-services-router-isr/index.html
We checked the cisco heartbleed info page.
http://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20140409-heartbleed
But Cisco 2901 is not listed neither in "Vulnerable products" or "Products Confirmed Not Vulnerable".
So, is Cisco 2901 vulnerable or not?
Or does it depend on the firmware version? How to check?

Just to add to the above. It actually say's that IOS is NOT affected.
The following Cisco products have been analyzed and are not affected by this vulnerability:
Cisco 1000 Series Connected Grid Routers
Cisco 200 Series Smart Switches
Cisco 300 Series Managed Switches
Cisco 500 Series Stackable Managed Switche

  • How do I get routing data from the Map App (powered by TomTom) so I can display the point-to-point annotations (turn-by-turn navigation) without leaving my own application.

I have a tableView displaying a list of contacts from a Cloud Database.  After selecting a contact, I push to a programmatically created MKMapView.  Then I display the initial region (the view) that includes the users current location (starting point) and their selected destination (end point).
Now I want to display annotations (as described in the Location Awareness Programming Guide) that displays polylines which will represent the turn-by-turn navigation IN MY OWN APPLICATION, and not in the Map App currently used in IOS6.
Due to licensing and its becoming depricated in IOS 6, I do not want to get routing data from the Google Maps API.  How do I get routing data from the IOS 6 Map App (powered by TomTom) so I can display the point-to-point annotations (turn-by-turn navigation) without leaving my own application?
I checked out Stack Overflow and other forums which basically left me with the impression that this is not possible. I also checked out the TomTom iPhone Mobile SDK User Guide from the TomTom Developer Portal and am still confused.  It must be possible to retrieve routes, since the Map App can display turn-by-turn directions.  How can I retrieve turn-by-turn data that I may display as a route within my own application?

Thanks Michael. Apologies for the slow reply I was away for a bit (holiday blitz at work and visiting family madness etc.etc.) back now, I set both options you requested to "never " and retried the CMS software with no change.
I do have progress of a sort though, as a test I took a separate test PC and put a clean install of Win7 on and loaded up the CMS software (it worked perfectly) and then took the version of ole32.dll off that machine and put it onto the computer I had built
    for her (using Linux) and...
got a new error code. Darn I was so sure I had found a clever solution this time lol.
Anyway now when the CMS fails it gives me a similar error but the offending module is "ntdll.dll" sooo... I tried taking the "working" version of ntdll.dll from the test box and moving it over (making sure to back up the existing ones
first so I could put them back if needed) to her new PC and the PC would not boot.
It seems to want the original versions of a few Dynamic Link Libraries and if I could somehow give it those while not breaking Win7 it should theoretically work seeing as it no longer errors with ole32.dll.
ntdll.dll however seems necessary for Win7 to boot.
So what I am wondering now is:
Is there some way to have both versions of the DLL file in the system32 folder (bypassing the "cannot have two files with the exact same name in the same folder" thing) or rename the original DLL's something else and somehow make the CMS look for
the new named versions so the system has the updated DLL's it needs to boot/run and the CMS has the old ones it wants to run or is there someway to have a self contained install of the CMS, say on a USB flash drive and give it it's own E:/windows/system32/needed
dll's  path to the files it needs?
Willing to try any other options or settings you may have come up with as well.
Thanks again for your reply and my apologies for not answering sooner.

I tightened all HD screws and it didn't help. With the machine running and side of the case off, I physically stopped both the video card fan and the front case fan with my finger for a couple seconds and the noise continued. I also took all hard drives out one by one and rebooted each time. Again, the noise continued until I took out the Mac HD in Bay 1, rebooted, and I had a very quiet, silent machine. The issue is the hard drive in bay 1 that shipped with the computer, it's without a doubt causing the hum/woosh sound. I still need to know if I can safely swap the Mac HD from bay 1 to bay 4 without any issues to the operating system. I would like to try that to see if it dampens the noise but I also want to make sure this swap won't screw up my machine at all.

  • Is Your Footage Suffering from the Massive Difference in Export Quality Between FCPX

I read this article today and considering I do all my rendering through Premiere or AME it made me a little concerned. What does Adobe think of this? and has any else experienced this problem?
    Cheers,
    Moja.
I took this article from: Is Your Footage Suffering from the Massive Difference in Export Quality Between FCPX & Premiere?
A rational person might assume that the program from which you export your media wouldn't have a noticeable impact on the quality of the final image, especially if the export settings are identical in both programs. A recent test by filmmaker Noam Kroll might just teach us to think twice before making assumptions.
First, a little bit of background on Kroll's test. Having noticed that exporting from Adobe Media Encoder yielded quicker results than using the same settings and exporting from FCPX, he tended to use Media Encoder for the bulk of his exporting. When a recently exported project came out with some nasty compression artifacts, blocky rendering of certain areas, and a noticeable change in color quality, Kroll put on his detective's hat and tried exporting again from FCPX. To his, and soon to be your, surprise, the exported result from FCPX yielded significantly higher image quality with the EXACT same export and compression settings.
Don't believe it? Have a look for yourself. According to Kroll, "both FCP X and Premiere Pro were set to output a high quality H.264 file at 10,000 kbps." The image on top was exported from FCPX and the bottom was exported from Premiere Pro.
    Exported from FCPX
    Exported from Premiere Pro
In the shots above, you'll notice more blocky compression artifacts in the version exported from Premiere, especially on the lower part of the woman's face, and there's a fairly significant reddish hue that's been introduced into the midtones and shadows of the Premiere export. Here's a version of the same shot that is cropped in on the woman's face by 400%. This is where the difference between the two starts to become painfully obvious. Again, FCPX is on top, and Premiere on the bottom.
    Exported from FCPX
    Exported from Premiere Pro
Here's the conclusion that Kroll came to in his post.
After seeing this I can confidently say that I will not be compressing to H.264 using Premiere Pro or Adobe Media Encoder any more. [sic] The image from Premiere is so much blockier, less detailed, and muddy looking, not to mention that the colors aren’t at all accurate. In fact I even did another output test later on with Premiere Pro set to 20,000 kbps and FCP X only set to 10,000 kbps and still the FCP X image was noticeably higher quality, so clearly something is up.
It's really difficult to speculate as to what's going on behind the scenes that's causing such a drastic difference in results between the two programs. However, what is clear is that you should take caution when exporting to h.264 from Premiere and Media Encoder. Regardless of the program that you're using, perform your own tests and make sure that the export process is leaving your media with a visual quality appropriate for the delivery medium.
The good news here is that Adobe is extremely receptive to feedback from their user base, and their Creative Cloud subscription model allows them to roll out updates with a much higher frequency than they could with the boxed version of the Creative Suite. If more people are experiencing these problems and reporting it to Adobe, chances are that we'll see an update with fixes sometime in the near future. With that said, I have no idea how Adobe handles the technical process of exporting, so it could very well take a complete overhaul of how the program encodes h.264 to fix the problem.

Well, I did my own little comparison with a shot from my A7s (XAVCS 50mbps) and seeing as I don't have FCP X I used FCP 7. The AME H264 looks nicer than the FCP one in this instance.

  • Help....Sufferring from Performance realted problem...!

    Hi
I am doing a project, a java desktop application. I am suffering from performance related problem in proj. Actually there is one jPanel(inside jInternalFrame, which is obvious inside main frame) which contains around 30 labels + 30 TextArea fields + 2 buttons(huge amount of GUI components placed on that), and it is too large to be fit into a desktop screen. that's why i have used a jScrollpane and placed jPanel on that. But now major problem is whenever i run a project it takes too much time, around 4 to 8 minutes. I think it is just because of huge amount of GUI components are placed in that jPanel which is placed inside jScrollpane & i think that jScrollPane is a lightweight component. But then 4-8 mins is a too much time to load a project. Can you tell me that is there any other way to put a large form inside a fixed (small) area without affecting performance of project.
In short i want to put a too many swing components inside a fixed area. Is there any other way apart from using jScrollPane?
What should i do in this case? Plz reply....
    Thanks.

It should not take 4-8 minutes to create a GUI. Maybe 4-8 seconds. You have some other problem you haven't described.
If you need further help then you need to create a [Short, Self Contained, Compilable and Executable, Example Program (SSCCE)|http://homepage1.nifty.com/algafield/sscce.html], that demonstrates the incorrect behaviour.
Don't forget to use the Code Formatting Tags so the posted code retains its original formatting. That is done by selecting the code and then clicking on the "Code" button above the question input area.

  • MPLS - Routing info from the same BGP AS

    Hi everyone,
I'm working on MPLS - (lab) and I was wondering how is it possible (or command) to pass traffic to and from the same AS?  In my lab I have to specifiy "nei allow-as in" in order to see routes from routers in my AS. I have 5 routers in my lab - One in AS 777 mpls and the other four in AS 6500). Everything in AS 6500 has the bgp sub command neig "ip addy" allow-as in.  This is the only way I can see routes advertised from neighbors.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Another (and I believe more used) possibility is to configure as-override on the PE towards CE
    router bg MPLS-CORE
    address-family ipv6 vrf test
    neighbour x.x.x.x as-override
    (syntax might be wrong)

  • Up loading album art work from the net problem

Just recently, I keep getting " unknown error - 609 " every time I go for up loading album art work from the net. This applies to all the albums not just the really obscure ones ! and its just the art work because I can still get all the track listings.

Actually I experienced the same thing but it's not an issue of missing artwork in the wi fi store. The reason I say this is that when initially purchased the artwork showed fine on the device.
After syncing it also shows fine in ITunes. When checking the device again though, it seems to display random art from the library for that track. In cover flow, if not the center image, i displays what i can best describe as a color static image in the place of the album art.

  • Photoshop and Lightroom 5 from the Cloud problem.

Just purchased and downloaded Photoshop and Lightroom 5 from the Cloud.  Had a problem with Lightroom when trying to mate it up with LR4 can I delete LR5 and use the Cloud installer to reinstall?

When you installed Lightroom 5, and then started it for the first time, it should have given you the option to upgrade your existing Lightroom 4 catalog. Allowing Lightroom 5 to do that will give you a new copy of your existing catalog, with the same folder structure and all of your images that you have previously imported included in that new catalog. After that conversion has taken place you can uninstall Lightroom 4, and you can get rid of the old version of the catalog. If you were to decide to keep the Lightroom 4 installed, it would continue using the original catalog which would point to the same images. But any adjustments made in Lightroom 4 would be completely independent from what you might do in Lightroom 5.

  • Panther to 10.4.3 from the Box Problem

I just upgraded from Panther using the just released 10.4.3 in-box version. I used the simple Upgrade path although I did make a bootable firewire backup of my Panther system before upgrading (fortunately). The machine is a dual proc 1Ghz G4 with 1GB memory.
There were a number of issues, Safari seemed much less stable, Mac Help showed an empty window, but the biggest issue was with Office 2004 or more particularly Word which quit (just vanishes) after typing a couple of sentences. There's no "unexpected quit" message from the system, but each time it happened the console reported:
    CGFontKey.c:230: failed assertion `id[k].qy <=
    kCGFontSharedCacheKeyMaxQ'
Since I had the bootable back-up I did an Erase and Install and used the Migration Assistant that is part of the install to copy back all my files. Safari seemed more stable and Help "sometimes" worked, but the Word issue was exactly the same, including the console message.
In desperation I did an Erase and Install again, but this time did not copy any files from the backup and installed Office 2004 cleanly from its install disk as the only non-Apple app on the system. I also all installed all current updates from the Mactopia server before running Word again. To my astonishment I got exactly the same crash - blinks out at about the third typed line, and the Console reports the same message. Help! Is this a hardware issue?
    toutepret

Forget the issues with Tiger apps, there's something amiss with the Panther installation. Since the backup didn't exhibit those symptoms, let's try to ensure that it isn't the problem. Boot into it, erase and reformat the HD with HFS+, journaling off (we're trying to isolate the problem), and then repair the disk. Reinstall the 10.3.9 combo update on the clone, launch Disk Utility, repair permissions, and clone it back to the HD. Boot into it and check that it still works as expected. Then, boot with the Tiger install disk, launch DU, repair the disk and permissions, and do an upgrade previous system version install.
If you get the same results as you first did, then I'd run the Apple Hardware Test, the extensive tests, to ensure that you're not running up against RAM or other hardware specs that are more stringent for Tiger than Panther.

  • Completely KILL the process from the OS - problem.

Does anyone know how to completely kill/eliminate/dispose/ the main process from the OS.
Here is the prob: my application runs smoothly. when I close it - it's being eliminated from the OS, however I found out that when I open a new window [from the main application] and updating something and then closing this particular window (with setvisable(false) / dispose() ) and QUITING the main application - the process still runs in the background.
Is there a way to make sure that regardless of the open frames/dialog the process [main application] will completely 'die'?
    Thanks

    so simple and so elegant
thanks, I feel like going back to CS101

  • Is there a way to upgrade a Cisco 866VAE router to support the OSPF routing protocol?

I work for the government and we purchased a Cisco 866 VAE router for a project.  Our base network runs OSPF routing protocol and we need to know if there is a way to upgrade the router that we purchased to support this protocol.
    Thanks for any assistance,

  • SRP521W + GRE - works on the router not from the LAN

    hi guys,
I use a pretty simple configuration
    1 cisco SRP521W
    * WAN DHCP
    * LAN in a /28
    * wireless disabled
    * GRE tunnel enabling the access to a /11 network while sharing the local /28
I configured a first router successfully : 10.xx.xx.0/28 , lan ip 10.xx.xx.1 rest afftected as dhcp... and when connecting on the lan i get an IP and can ping the remote network
I tried to replicate the conf on the following routers for different sites
10.xx.xx.16/28 with lan 10.xx.xx.17 and so
but while on the router through the interface the ping through the gre tunnel works ok , on the lan side nothing it just times out...
i'm a bit at a loss so any hint would be apreciated !

When the route disappeared, there was a line in the syslog "WebEx Route Lost - Disabling CUBE Service", but the service was not stopped. I had to stop it myself. I then let it sit. Once the route reappeared, the message "WebEx Route Added - Enabling CUBE Service" showed up, but SIP did not start. Any ideas?

If you have AAA command authz enabled, then make sure you've configured "event manager session cli username USER", where USER is a name authorized to run all of the CLI commands in your applets.
If you still don't see the behavior you want, enable "debug event manager action cli" to see what the results of the CLI commands are.

  • My TX2 suffers from the bad cpu socket syndrome Lawsuit?.

My TXT does the bad cpu light flash at start up. If I do the "bake" the motherboard thing to reflow the cpu socket, or remove the keyboard and use a heat gun to heat the socket solder, it will work fine. It will last about a week, longer if I don't allow it to shut off. The thermal cycling of the cpu socket is a problem and most if not all the TX2s suffer from this. It was blamed on an overheating gpu byt that is not the problem in most cases. What can be done to get HP to rectify the design/build problem.
    Stew

Clear CMOS Guide (remove power cord before proceed) and insert memory stick in DIMM slot close to CPU socket.(ensure its filled well too)
if no go try with different memory stick.
