Is color selection and replace feature available in PS CS 6?

I am using Photoshop CS 6 and was just wondering whether there was a way where you select a particular color in the a image and could change that color alone in the entire image where ever that particular color appears in the image.
Just curious to know whether that kind of feature is available in Photoshop CS 6. Does anyone know of that kind of feature?
Thanks in advance

Good day!
I consider Image > Adjustments > Replace Color practically worthless.
Alternatives could be
• Adjustment Layers (like Hue/Saturation)
• creating a Selection with the Magic Wand Tool with »Contiguous« unchecked and then creating a Solid Color or Adjustment Layer
• using a Smart Object with Blend if settings in conjunction with Adjustment Layers
The preferable method depends on the image and what further editing seems likely.

  • Enhancement and new features available in AFS 6.0 in reference to AFS 5.0?

    Hi Experts,
Please can you explain what are the Enhancement and new features available in AFS 6.0 in reference to AFS 5.0

    Hi Mithun,
Following are the details you needed.
Enhancement and new features available in AFS 6.0 wrt AFS 5.0
    AFS Interface
AFS GTS Master Data Integration - IS-AFS-INT-GTS (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can integrate the SAP Global Trade Services 7.1 (SAP GTS 7.1) master data to the AFS data.
    AFS Retail Integration (Change)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the integration of Apparel and Footwear Solution (AFS) with Retail has been
    Enhanced by the following functions:
u2022     One SAP Retail Logical system is mapped to multiple Customers in SAP AFS system, which ensures that each Customer can be mapped to a different purchase organization.
u2022     You can maintain the retail merchandise category in the AFS material master for each retail logical system.
u2022     The variant numbers created in the retail for the article (material in AFS) have the number with the category and grid combination. A new BADI method is used to allow the user to change the variant numbering as required.
u2022     The material type of the generic article created is the same as the AFS material. A new BADI method is used to set the material type of the article as required.
    Quality Management (IS-AFS-QM)
Enabling QM for Goods Receipt (GR) Process for AFS (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can activate the inspection type at material level and control the inspection lot creation at stock keeping unit (SKU) level during the goods receipt process.
Additionally, during posting of quality inspection stocks, you can directly post stock of one SKU to unrestricted stock of another SKU.
    Basic Data (IS-AFS-BD)
Commodity Codes at the SKU Level (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can maintain commodity codes at the SKU level in the material master. A new relevancy Global Trade Services (GTS) is allotted to the characteristics attached to the grid and categories. If this new relevancy is set then the commodity codes can be assigned at the SKU level. You can also assign commodity codes of different countries other than the country in which the plant is located.
The AFS material master IDoc and BAPI have been enhanced to handle commodity codes at the SKU level.
    Material Master Enhancements (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the following enhancements have been made in the material master:
u2022     You can maintain commodity codes at the stock keeping unit (SKU) level.
u2022     You can maintain the retail data merchandise category and characteristic profile at the material master level. This is used to create article in retail.
u2022     You can maintain quality management (QM) inspection type at SKU level.
u2022     You can enable Seasons for inventory management (IM).
    Materials Management (IS-AFS-MM)
    Seasonality Roundoff - Inventory Management-(New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, season functionality is extended to Inventory Management (IM). This enables you to gain an overview of material movements during each season. You can maintain stocks for different seasons separately. To enable this functionality, you have to activate the Season Active in IM indicator for a material in the material master. This indicator can be set only for materials created in AFS 6.0. If the season is maintained for an SKU in the material master, you can obtain season information for the SKUs in batches, in material movement documents and in stock tables.
Also, as of AFS 6.0, you cannot set the Season Fixed indicator for new materials. However, for old materials (materials created in AFS 5.0 with Season Fixed indicator) the behavior remains the same.
Stock Selection Available in Transaction MIGO (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the goods movement transaction MIGO has been enhanced with Stock Selection for AFS materials. Goods movement here implies only goods issued/transfer postings without document reference.
Consumption of PIRs by TPO, MTO and PTO (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the Consume PIR Customizing indicator at sales and distribution (SD) item category level enables special orders like TPO (third-party order), MTO (make-to order) and PTO (purchase-to order) to consume normal planned independent requirements (PIRs).
    IS-AFS-MM-PUR Purchasing
    Purchasing BAPIs (Change)
The interface of the purchase order (PO) BAPIs mentioned below have been enhanced with optional parameters to handle the AFS data.
    Purchase order BAPIs
    u2022      AFSPurchaseOrder.GetDetail1 (BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL1)
    u2022     AFSPurchaseOrder.Change (BAPI_PO_CHANGE)
    u2022     AFSPurchaseOrder.CreateFromData1 (BAPI_PO_CREATE1)
    Purchase Requisition BAPIs
    u2022     PurchaseRequisition.CreateFromData (BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE)

    u2022     PurchaseRequisition.Delete (BAPI_REQUISITION_DELETE)
    Contract BAPIs
    u2022     PurchasingContract.Change (BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE)
    u2022     PurchasingContract.Create (BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATE)
    u2022     PurchasingContract.GetDetail (BAPI_CONTRACT_GETDETAIL)
Production planning and control IS-AFS- PP
      Manufacturing (IS-AFS-PP-MAN)
BAPI for Bill of Material (BOM) Maintenance (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you use this BAPI (AFSMaterialBOM.AFSMatBomMaintain) to maintain a material BOM. You can also use this BAPI for the following functionalities:
u2022     Creating a standard or AFS BOM
u2022     Changing a standard or AFS BOM
u2022     Updating a quantity distribution profile for AFS BOM components
u2022     Maintaining SKU deviation quantities or zero quantities (if relevant) for AFS BOM components
u2022     Maintaining categories (if relevant) for AFS BOM components
Transaction for Grouping PO using Combined Order Number (New)
BAPIs for AFS Planned Orders - Create, Change and Get Details (Change)
BAPI for Production Orders - Create, Change and Get Details (Change)
    Production Planning (IS-AFS-PP-PPL)
Consumption of PIRs by TPO, MTO and PTO (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the Consume PIR Customizing indicator at sales and distribution (SD) item category level enables special orders like TPO (third-party order), MTO (make-to order) and PTO (purchase-to order) to consume normal planned independent requirements (PIRs).
    Sales and Distribution (IS-AFS-SD)
    BADI for Contract Selection (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can use this BADI to filter contracts for display when a sales order is created without giving reference to the contract, and when there are open contracts for the material. This functionality is also available for the sales order created by IDocs.
BAPI for AFS Material Availability (New)
you can use this BAPI method MaterialAFS.AFSAvailabilityCheck (/AFS/BAPI_MAT_AVAILABILITY) to determine the available quantity for an AFS material in a certain plant according to ATP (available-to-promise) logic.
Consumption of PIRs by TPO, MTO and PTO (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the Consume PIR Customizing indicator at sales and distribution (SD) item category level enables special orders like TPO (third-party order), MTO (make-to order) and PTO(purchase-to order) to consume normal planned independent requirements (PIRs).
    Display of Allocated Quantities (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can find the allocated quantity information of the contract in the Contract Reference Overview screen.
BAdIs in Mass Document Change MDC (New)
The following NEW Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) are provided:

u2022     BAdI for adding custom fields to the Adjust Update tab in MDC (/AFS/MDC_ADJ_UPD_CUSTOM_FIELDS) you use this BAdI to implement custom processes that are specific to your business scenario.
    Condition Table Display (Change)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, in transaction J3A9 it is possible to display condition tables for value-added service(VAS) and multi-store order (MSO) condition types beyond the existing limit of 19 condition tables. The Conditions Info display in transactions J3A4 and J3AN can be viewed in an ALV list.
AFS Sales and Distribution (SD) IDOCS
As of SAP AFS 6.0, the function modules J_4A_IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS and J_4A_IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG are not supported. The standard function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS are used instead J_4A_IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS and standard function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG are used instead of J_4A_IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG. There is no change in the IDOC type /AFS/ORDERS05 which is presently used to create/change sales orders. Accordingly, you must use inbound process code ORDE for message type ORDERS and inbound process code ORDC for message type ORDCHG.
Supporting the Change of Single Characteristic (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can use transaction /AFS/MDC, to select sales documents by specifying a single characteristic name and value range in the same ways as you select sales documents by specifying grid value.
Partial Quantity Reductions in Sales Order (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can find the quantity changes done for a schedule line from the sales order screen itself without navigating to the change logs. This is possible only when you reduce the quantity of a schedule line.
    Allocation Run (IS-AFS-ARUN)
Seasonality Roundoff - Allocation Run (New)
As of SAP AFS 6.0, season functionality is available in the allocation run (ARun) to ensure the season information is considered while creating assignments, and to cause deallocation as per the settings in the deallocation rule on change in season information in the future receipts, sales order or while performing goods receipt (GR). This functionality is available only with online ARun.
BAPI for Individual Allocation and/or Deallocation
As of SAP AFS 6.0, you can use the BAPI /AFS/BAPI_INDIVIDUAL_ARUN to handle allocation/deallocation of specified sales order quantities for single or multiple orders. This enables you to make:
    u2022     New allocations
u2022     Allocations from a particular storage location/batch number
u2022     Allocations for a quantity less than equal to the requirement quantity
u2022     Deallocations for a quantity less than equal to the requirement quantity
    u2022     A total deallocation
    Hope it helps.

  • Is there is a way to change the "Find and Replace" feature in Numbers 3.2 back to the way it used to be on Numbers '09 version 2.3?

In order to view my documents on my newly purchased Macbook Air I recently had to upgrade my 27" iMac to Numbers 3.2.  The new version does fine for what I use it for except the new "find and replace" feature...It is TERRIBLE! It is so much slower than the older version.  Plus I loved how the older version showed a table of all the matching word or items you're searching for and you could easily scroll through them to find the one that you were searching for.
My question is: Can you change the Find and Replace feature back to the way it used to be in version 2.3 or Number '09?  If so, please show me how.  I would really appreciate it.
The image below shows the new version on the left and the old version on the right just in case you don't know what I'm talking about...
    Thank you.

    Hi The.Gav,
Sad to say, but that feature has gone in Numbers 3.2
This discussion may help (or not)
Numbers - How use Find like the previous version?

  • Is there a "search and replace" feature on IWeb?

After building my entire site from scratch, I have learned many, many things that will help it load faster, etc.
This will involve redesigning buttons, and taking some photos and manipulating them in Photoshop (rather than adding borders in IWeb, etc.), etc.
As I have several pages that include the same items, is there a way that I can find all of the same pictures and replace them with my new edited version with a "search and replace" type of function? Or do I have to go to each page, and delete the old and add the new?
Thanks for all the help -
    Kim

As I have several pages that include the same items, is there a way that I can find all of the same pictures and replace them with my new edited version
You'll have to copy an paste the new items in each page.
I suppose you could name the new item the same as the old and replace it in the individual page folder. I think that would save you from having to edit any html pages. But if you're going to make other edits to the page which require you to open it in iWeb you might as well replace it that way. It will have to be the same pixel size as the previous file was.
I did a file replacement for the last three tutorials button in my Old Toad's Tutorials site. Worked like a charm until I next publish.
*HOWEVER, if you republish the site or page the files will be replaced with the originals. So unless you're not going to change it again you'll have to do the change in iWeb so they will remain changed.*
Just changed that page from within iWeb so the demo of the process is not available any more.

  • Find and Replace feature (DW8)

I have 300+ pages, where every page includes an image, while
    the image could
be the same in more than one pages.
How can I find which images are common in which pages?
Please note, that I wouldn't like to use Find and Replace for
    each one of
the images, as there are more than 200 of them. I would like
    a more
"general" expression instead. Something like "Find all the
    pages where *any*
image file name is in more than one of them". Then, I
    (probably) get a list
    like the one below:
    image1.jpg is included in files 10.htm, 15.htm, 20.htm
    image2.jpg is included in files 30.htm, 40.htm
    image3.jpg is included in files 100.htm, 150.htm, 200.htm,
    300.htm
    ... and so on
Is there a workaround? A regular expression... an
    extension...?
    TIA
Please, remove hyphens to contact me

  • Dreamweaver CS6 "Find and Replace" not working

Since I've started working in DW CS6 I've noticed that the Find and Replace feature isn't working completely.
E.g. If I select a block of code, then open Find and Replace, tell it to find "<br />" and replace it with "</li>" it only replaces the first instance. The rest of the <br />'s are still <br />'s.
Is this happening to anyone else? I may have to switch back to CS5.

    ** ANSWER/Workaround
Change the selection in the 'Search:' dropdown from the default 'Source:'  to 'Text' or 'Text (Advanced)' and you will get the desired result.
bracdiver, your post may be useful in some examples, like the ones I posted above. However, this does not work in my intended example below (which is source code specific), where the actual source code needs to be replaced:
    Sample
<p>These are true or false questions. Place your answer on the blank under each question.</p>
    <ol>
        <li>There are twelve in a baker's dozen</li>
<li>35% of people are going to school.</li>
<li>There are seven books in the Harry Potter series.</li>
<li>The longest running play is "Les Miserables"</li>
<li>There is no blank under this question. <i>Answer beside this question instead.</i></li>
    </ol>
    Using these options
Find in: Selected Text (first four list items)
    Search: Source code:
    Find: </li>
    Replace: <br />___________________</li>
    Options enabled: Match case
    Desired output:
<p>These are true or false questions. Place your answer on the blank under each question.</p>
    <ol>
        <li>There are twelve in a baker's dozen<br />___________________</li>
<li>35% of people are going to school.<br />___________________</li>
<li>There are seven books in the Harry Potter series.<br />___________________</li>
<li>The longest running play is "Les Miserables"<br />___________________</li>
<li>There is no blank under this question. <i>Answer beside this question instead.</i></li>
    </ol>
    CS6 DW output:
<p>These are true or false questions. Place your answer on the blank under each question.</p>
    <ol>
        <li>There are twelve in a baker's dozen<br />___________________</li>
<li>35% of people are going to school.</li>
<li>There are seven books in the Harry Potter series.</li>
<li>The longest running play is "Les Miserables"</li>
<li>There is no blank under this question. <i>Answer beside this question instead.</i></li>
    </ol>
Using your workaround (with 'Inside Tag' option set to li), this will not work as does not change any text at all.

  • Find and Replace Across Multiple Sites

    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows a way or a piece of software

I am using DWMX2004 and I can do it on a per site basis but
    not multiple

You don't have to define a site, Blue, just select a folder

  • Search and Replace... tried everything, no luck, think it's quite simple!

    Hi Guys,
I'm trying to do  some editing on many many html files. As it wouldn't be realistic in the slightest to do it manually I'm trying to use the search and replace feature in DW, but it's proving quite difficult. I've looked at everything available on this forum and others with no luck.
So I'm trying to replace a huge block of code, but as the code is different in all the files I have to use the wildcard. So I match up the code at the front and the block which is the same in all the files I'm trying to change and insert [^"]*. For example, if I wanted to change the meta content  I search for:
    <meta name="description" content="[^"]*" />
    It doesn't find it.
The other blocks of code are much bigger and it's the same story. If I copy the code in which I am looking to replace (without the wild card) and search it doesn't find it, but if I click off 'use regular expression' it does find it, so this leads me to believe that it may be something to do with the special characters that is in the code that I am trying to replace, but I am unsure how to go about excluding these..
    Any help much appreciated,
    Brian

I'm the very first to admit that I STINK at Reg Ex.  It's a totally foreign language to me.
Whenever possible, I use the Search Tag with Attributes feature.
So let's say you need to find all meta tags that contain attribute "name" & the content is different in each one.
Find In: Current document (to test)
    Search: Specific Tag         meta
With Attribute                      name = [any value]
Action:  Set Attribute          content   to: type your new values here....
    Replace All.
    Hope this helps.

  • Find and Replace HS5.5

How do I include a line feed in the replace section of the
find and replace feature of Homesite 5.5?
Converting many lengthy files from <pre> and <tt>

into short lines of text with CR/LF's on every line. I wish to
revert the paragraph back to 'wrapped' text with a single CR at the
    end of the paragraph.
I can 'find' and eliminate the " ¶ " symbol from each
line, but I do not know how to "replace " text that should include
    this symbol.

    problem I am having.</p>¶
    <p>New paragraph
Presently I can add hash marks (##) where I wish the
paragraph to end. I then globally remove all the "¶"'symbols
that appear in the text. What I want to do now is replace the ##
with code which would produce the following two lines

    <p>
I have tried many different codes, such as chr(13) and \r,
but they all just insert the code as straight text.
    Can anyone clue me in?
    Thanks, gil d

as far as special chars in simple F-and-R, I replace some
non-ascii chars by copying from a doc and pasting into the dialog
    field.
That wouldn't work for CR/LF, so you have to use the extended
search and replace there as you found out.
Note there is also a function for "Replace Double Spacing
with Single Spacing" (on the menu, under Search).
Probably no help for this case, but good to know.
BTW, be careful with your extended search and replace on
CR/LF. If your lines don't end in a space and a CR/LF, you might
want to replace CR/LFs with a space. Otherwise the last word of one
line might be butted against the first word in the next line with
no space when the CR/LF is removed.
Of course that's not a great solution since it adds a lot of
spaces where you have CR/LFs, and you may not want them all
    there...
There is a Remove Returns script that might be of use to you.
It's a lot more manual than you probably want for doing lots of
    files.

let us know here if you find some better solution please,

  • Find and Replace in RH HTML

After upgrading to RH8, all instances of "em dash" symbols in projects are now appearing incorrectly. When we insert the "em dash" symbol, we always eliminate any spaces before and after the symbol. All projects that have been upgraded to use RH8 now add a space after the symbol, which is incorrect.
I have also installed the RH updates and opened a project that had not been upgraded before the update installs...same problem.
Due to the size of the projects, I have tried using the Find and Replace feature within the HTML view; unfortunately, this did not work.
Has this issue been addressed with Adobe? I ran into a similar issue with the upgrade to RH7, where the HTML coding for em dashes would come through in the design view and final .chm output file. Does anyone know of a Find and Replace feature within RH that will allow me to remove every instance where a space appears after the em dash symbol? I have found the FAR tool but would like to avoid it if possible, as I have read it can corrupt RH files.

There was one other post recently about this but otherwise this problem had gone quiet so I don't know why you are seeing it in a project that was not opened before applying the patches.
So turning to FAR, it is not the program that corrupts files. It is what the user does with it. As we usually say, it can fix a project in minutes and wreck it in seconds. That is because the user has not thought about what the search might find. For example, you might search for "class" thinking about your topic content but of course FAR works a code level so it will remove all your style classes as well. That is where the corruption comes in, not the software itself. It's rather like blaming the car for the crash.
If you back up first, there is nothing to lose.

  • Xml search and replace for 'Session Variables' in column title view

    Hi Experts,
I have around 10 reports where measure column titles are displayed based the session variable.
Below is the syntax I have used in the column title
    @{biServer.variables['NQ_SESSION.VariableName']}
Now I would like to replace the above syntax with some static text. To do this, I am trying to use the xml search and replace feature in the catalog manager.
For some reason, catalog manager is unable to find the syntax in the xml file. I have tried using escape character also for the apostrophe by using &apos, but no luck.
Any pointers on how to replace the text?
    Thanks

Using Analysis get the xml conversion for @{biServer.variables['NQ_SESSION.VariableName']} from Advanced tab's xml code
use this code to find in catalog manager, if you able to find then go for search and replace option.
I think this should work for you.

  • Is design view missing from RoboHelp's new Find and Replace editor?

I just started using RoboHelp 10 and was excited about the new Find and Replace feature. However, it seems to force the user to edit in the HTML editor (which is very difficult when the topic has tables). Am I missing some preference setting?
The only workaround seems to be to to find a topic and then track it down in the Project Manager list and open it in the normal fashion.
    Thanks.

Find and Replace in Files (as opposed to a single topic) has always been at HTML level.
If you do use this updated feature, do not use the Contains field unless you want to kiss your project goodbye. See Using Rh10 on my site.

  • Import and Replace

    Hello,
wondering if someone could describe when you would use the import and replace feature rather than creating a proxy for a comp or footage
    thanks

Not really a matter pf preference, at least to me. A lot of stuff when compositing my 3D renderings required full resolution and full bit depth, so it would have been mostly pointless to even bother rendering proxies when you cannot exactly discern things at half res or things look different at reduced bit-depths. And I think technical development simply overtook what proxies once were meant for. It's simply easy enough to work on full throttle these days because you have sufficient hardware and storage space.

Hey, How do I populate my replace colors color library in illustrator? I tried to replace color on a traced/ vectorized image and when I selected and went to the color library CC said I need to use a valid username. I was already logged into my adobe account.

Can you please show a screenshot of what exactly you want to replace where?
