    I'm running a Windows 7 desktop and a MacBook Air with 10.8.3. In my Creative Cloud Connection menu on I have a promt that says "Unable to connect to the Creative Cloud" on both the Mac and Windows. Is anyone else having this issue? Is it the Creative Cloud?

    I have to say that I still *cannot* believe that you continue to re-post the same message all over in many other post forums in Creative Cloud forums for past few days.
    Consider my constructive critque of Adobe's major failure to fix this in a reasonable, satisfactory fix whereas Adobe has billions of dollars (in profits over the years, along with retained earnings set aside), I find that very amusing that Adobe is NOT able to fix "Unable to connect to the Creative Cloud."
    It would be wise FOR you to focus on fixing stubborn "whatever" outage problem associated with "Unable to connect to the Creative Cloud"..., focus on highest priority just to fix this problem once for all.
    Mind you, if I may suggest... CREATE a new FAQ on top of Creative Cloud forum to include status link that you provided. This will save many other Creative Cloud subscribers some time... and possibly some other workaround temporary solution!
    Yet, I have to admit that I am disappointed with this outage problem. I love the concept of Creative Cloud programme, it took me some time to adjust from traditional license to "renting" apps. What is more, I felt strongly that it is VERY wrong of Adobe management to alienate long-time die-hard Adobe pro-nusmers for years like myself since my college days at RIT back in late 1980s. I believe that Adobe should give the choices, not ONE choice all together.
    In closing, PLEASE fix outage problem at once. It has been more than a week now. Unbelievable if you dare to say!

    Try as I might, I don't seem to see Presenter in creative cloud...
    I thought everything was moving to CC?
    Using it as a student, adding more to my confusion.

    Captivate should be a part of Creative Cloud. You are forcing me to a third party vendor.

    I agree, though I suppose they look at the applications with the largest number of users, and most users of CC might not value Captivate. 
    I subscribe to Creative Cloud, so I get a lot of powerful applications, but it would be nice if it included Captivate.

    I don't think that is possible... but, after you do your initial install, you are only supposed to have to connect to the Internet once a month to verify your subscription

  • Why can't my computer establish a connection to the Creative Cloud file system??

    Hi Folks,
    First of all many thanks to all of you out there who published helpful tutorials or advices.
    Here's my problem:
    I have installed my Creative Cloud successfully and my CC Connector logged in and looked for updates and stuff - all fine. Unfortunately after that the connector gives the status: "No Connection to Creative Cloud!"...
    My internet connection is OK, no local proxy, just Kaspersky Internet Security running etc...
    My aim is to give material to a customer - so what went wrong?
    Technical data:
    OS: Windows 7 ultimate
    PC: Chronos 7 (Samsung)
    connected via LAN
    Please help!

  • Internet connection problem with Creative Cloud

    When I try to download a trial of Photoshop via Creative Cloud I continuously get an error message of no Internet connection (This is not the case). Can anybody help

    Solution #1
    Check the 'hosts" file for adobe entries. if you could see adobe entries there follow the below mentioned steps.
    1. Go to the 'Hosts' file location.
    WIN : C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
    MAC: Go to finder menu on the top  > go to folders > type '/etc', hit return.
    2. move the hosts file to the desktop.
    3. Open it.
    WIN: open it with notepad.
    MAC: double click it.
    4. Delete all the adobe entries, as they are blocking your machine to connect to Adobe Activation Server.
    5. Move it back to '/etc' folder.
    Solution # 2
    1. Check if you are working under any sort of firewall (system/network) / proxy.
    2. Disable firewall /  proxy.
    Solution #3 (Should work)

J'ai créé un compte mais il m'est impossible de parvenr à me connecter en lancant le logiciel Creative Cloud. Je n'ai pas de Firewall et j'utilise Windows Security comme antivirus. Lorsque je lance creative cloud, il commence à mouliner et fini par me dire systématiquement que j'ai été déconnecté.
    J'ai réinstallé le logiciel mais sans succès.

  • Is Story Plus a part of Creative Cloud or not?

    Everything I read on Adobe.com indicates Story Plus is included in Creative Cloud.  However, when I try to access it from CreativeCloud.com I get Story Free.  I started a chat with Adobe, and I was told I need to subscribe separately for Story Plus.
    Which is it?  And if it is included, how do I fix my problem and get access to Story Plus?

    Hi Sandeep. I removed the desktop version of Story. However, I can't recall where the dmg file for it might be. (I did download one of the first beta versions and only continued to update ever since by opening the Software and Updating when prompted.) I went to the site (my creative cloud account at creative.adobe.com) but I can't seem to find anywhere to download the desktop app again. The story icon only provides a "learn more" link. My application manager does not include Story. I will send you an email with my email ID.
    By the way, there has been a new development. My whole account is now expiring everyday. Everytime I open any software it asks me to renew, which I do and seems to work fine (It says something along the lines of "Subscription Renewed!" so I assume that means it works), but it only lasts until I close the app or open another adobe software. At which point it expires again and I must renew. I have been renewing three or four times a day for the last two days.
    Also, the email above appears as  DL-AdobeStory-support<at>adobe<dot>com
    Seemed odd so I'll ask. Is your email [email protected]? or just [email protected]? Or maybe [email protected]?
    I sent an email with my info to all of the above including [email protected] I'm sorry if I error on the side of exesiveness, but I really would like to resolve the issue.
    Also, I received an inmediate reply from [email protected] saying:
    You have replied to an automated e-mail system that is unable to respond to individual questions or comments.
    If you have further questions, visit the Adobe Support website at www.adobe.com/support/.
    This does not inspire peace of mind. I hope this is just one of all the addresses I sent it to. Anyways,

    I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this!  I see from your screenshot that you have font synced turned off at the moment. If you turn font sync on in the Creative Cloud application, do you still see the spinner?
    Would you please send your recent sync log files to [email protected] so that we can look into this for you?  (If you've already sent a support email, you don't need to write again; we will follow up with you there.)
    On OS X:
    * Open the Finder
    * under the Go menu, select "Go To Folder"
    * in the window that opens, type:  /Users/(username)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/
    Remember to replace "(username)" with your own account name.
    Or if you are comfortable working from the Terminal:
    cd $HOME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/
    On Windows:
    C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync\
    Attach the 3 or 4 most recent CoreSync-yyyy-MM-dd.log files to an email. Please don't send a zip file, as they often get flagged as spam.

  • Will Adobe Story Plus work without internet connection and/or Creative Cloud being up?

    We just started using Story Free on a recent project and are looking to go bigger with it on a feature length project.  A big downside we noticed is that when Creative Cloud was down last week, we were completely locked out of our scripts in Story Free... On the paid, Story Plus version, do you have offline access to your work, or is it also cloud dependent?

    I work with other designers who consume my work, Illustrator and Photoshop files, into InDesign. Is it possible for them to add my Creative Cloud storage to their Bridge so that I can publish and they can link to my work directly from there?

    Great idea but this is not currently possible. Improved sharing and collaboration features are on the roadmap.
    Feel free to create an Idea detailing what you would like to see. If you have not created an Idea before you can do so from the New menu. Other customers can then vote on your Idea and add their feedback to it.
