Is Creative Cloud billing hopeless?

As an Adobe shareholder and 15-year customer, I dismay for the future of the company if they are betting on Creative Cloud. 
At my company, I signed up for the one-year CC membership.   Everything was great until I decided to leave my company, four months before the end of the one-year plan.
Not wanting to rip off Adobe, I wanted to get an invoice from them for the remaining four months on the contract so my company could pay it off and be done with it.
The following "conversation" took place over the course of an hour with the only channel of support I could get through Adobe:
Shelmungam: Hello! Welcome to Adobe Customer Service.
Shelmungam: Hi Steve.
Steve : hi
Steve : can you help me?
Shelmungam: I have received part of your question, please allow me a minute to review your query.
Steve : hello??
Shelmungam: I understand that you would like to receive the bill for your remaining subscription amount, is that correct?
Steve : that's what I wrote to you a half hour ago
Steve : can you help me?
Steve : hello?
Steve : why is there such a delay?
Shelmungam: Thank you for confirming. Let me check and help you with this.
Shelmungam: May I have the order number please?
Steve : i don't know the order number
Steve : it's the only order for a one-year creative cloud membership on my account
Steve : can't you look up my account?
Shelmungam: Let me pull up your account with your email address.
Steve : this is taking waaaay too long. I've been on the line with you for 30 minutes already!
Steve : I am very frustrated!!!!
Shelmungam: I apologize if this cause an inconvenience to you.
Steve : a HUGE inconvenience to a very LOYAL customer. I hope you're going to do something to compensate me for the time I am spending trying to solve this problem for you.
Shelmungam: Are you referring to Creative Cloud membership (one-year) that was placed on Sep. 07, 2012?
Steve : YES!
Steve : the only one i have placed
Steve : please, for the love of god, speed this up!
Shelmungam: Thank you for confirming.
Shelmungam: Let me run you with the steps to download the invoice from your adobe account.
Steve : I don't want OLD invoices. I want invoices for the NEXT FOUR MONTHS
Shelmungam: I am sorry we will not be able to provide the invoice for next months.
Steve : that's the whole reason I wrote to you

I want to chew my arm off.  Surely this is what they mean when they say "enhanced interrogation."   I can't believe this went on for another 30 minutes and this person STILL didn't solve my issue.

Honestly this is horrible.
All i want to do is pay my bill.

    Please update the credit card details using Secure payment portal, once done, send me a message in forum as well as through private messaging so that I re trigger the payment.
    The Credit card has not been changed & the payment has failed for last few months.
    If the process does not re trigger the CC, you will have to get this CC canceled & place a new order.

    Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.
    Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
    Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.
    To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".
    Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

    I want to switch my notebook to the same license as my desktop, since I understrand that is allowed as long as I use only one at a time.

    Yes, it will be necessary for you to remove the Creative Cloud version and install the standalone version of Lightroom 5. You can use your existing serial number.

  • Creative Cloud evaporates - billing fiasco

    This is both a plea for help and a rant:
    I've been trying to subscribe to the Cloud for nearly a month now and my trial versions are about to run out leaving me with numerous cleint projects in limbo. I still have CS6 (and 5 & 5.5 because I am a bit paranoid about legacy issues) but most new projects I've been shooting on Sony's new 4K codec which is only available on CC (not sure why they can't offer a new codec in CS6 but that's another topic).
    For some reason, every time I order Creative Cloud I get this message: "We'll look into that and get back to you You should get an email from us by next business day. If you don't hear back from us, you can check your order status on your account page or call us at +1 800-585-0774" and every time I get no answer and the order does not show up in my account. I've wasted nearly six hours with tech support (at my hourly billing rate I could have paid for the full Creative Suite for a year in that time) and am no closer to resolving this issue than when it started. I've placed the order on Chrome, Safari and Firefox in case it was a browser issue, but receive the same message each time.
    Beyond the fact that in a few days my trial versions will expire and I'll have to explain to my clients that I can't finish their projects because I can't pay my subscription fees, I am deeply worried that even if I can magically fix this problem that billing issues like this will arise in the future. By now I have absolutely no faith left in Adobe's ability to provide Cloud services and am looking for any and all options outside of Creative Suite for high-end productions. I know for editing there are options (FCP and Avid) but for motion graphics AE seems the best from my experience. I'd hate to switch back after all the time and cost of moving to a predominately Adobe video workflow the past three years (not to mention all the third party plug-ins) but I need a platform that is reliable and this Cloud seems to evaporate far too easily.
    Does anyone have any aswers on how I can possibly get CC to work? If not, anyone have suggestions on other platforms that are comparible?

    I keep getting a pop up everytime I open Photoshop or Illustrator or any other of my Creative Cloud applications that says I need to check my billing information because there is an issue with the last payment and that Creative Cloud will stop working if it is not addressed. Well I looked online and everything on the credit card information looks fine so then I clicked edit payment info and it says "Thanks! We received your payment." Well if you have then why does it still keep counting down the days until it shuts off? If everything on the credit card info looks fine why did the payment not go through?

    I did check the payment portal, Adobe could not obtain payment from your Bank, it was tried on December 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th. of 2013.
    Please contact with the bank to check the error, once that is done, do contact Adobe at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6 to regularize the subscription after payment update.

    I see that you have purchased the Creative Cloud Subscription under the Email address you have used to login to Forums as well. I can see that the activation has not yet been done, Can you please try the below mentioned steps and advies.
    1) Open the Creative Cloud Desktop Application and sign in with the Id that you have used to Login to forums.
    2) If the above step does not resolve the query, please try activating the product under a different network.
    Please share the end result post trying the above steps.

    I was paying monthly for the Adobe Design Standard Subscription (Registration date December 1, 2011) which automatically upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud Membership and then another Adobe Creative Cloud Membership appeared and I started paying for in my account.
    How do I safely deactivate one of my Creative Cloud Memberships (getting a refund for overbilling would be a plus) without disturbing my files in the Adobe Cloud and the desktop applications I've downloaded from the Cloud?

    According to the screenshot your subscription shows two Creative cloud membership for one year. For cancelling one year subscription you need to just call Customer Support and let them know which one you need to cancel.
