By the way, may the Gods shrivel all Apple iphone software developers into a smoking crisp.

Nick, sorry to hear about that. I'm not sure where you are sending the emails, but if you use the form to submit your crash information, that goes into a database for review by the developers instead of coming to the support volunteers here.
Did you try the History > Restore Previous Session command? Firefox sometimes saves form data in the session history. This data may age out, so you should use that menu item as soon as possible.
Going forward, consider installing the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lazarus-form-recovery/ Lazarus: Form Recovery] extension if you are filling long forms and Firefox is unstable.
With respect to the crashes, there are many possible reasons for Firefox to crash. Have you reviewed the help articles for diagnosis? For example: [[Firefox crashes - Troubleshoot, prevent and get help fixing crashes]].

  • New Creative Zen Firmware Upgrade Borked - update: I think it's fi

    Hello!
I got a new 6gb Creative Zen today. Have a question:
    1. I upgraded the firmware after the original CD load. There were 4 critical updates. However, after all that ran, the Zen is messed up - I get a screen that has Clean Up, Format All, Reload Firmware and Reboot. When I tried to reboot I get a Reload Firmware message. I cannot get into the system at all.
I'm sure I'll have more questions later. Thanks for the help!Message Edited by Gankaku on 0-6-200809:0 PM
EDIT: I re-downloaded the firmware from the site and reinstalled and maybe things are ok now? I have access to the player from a Windows window. Hopefully all is well now.Message Edited by Gankaku on 0-6-200809:37 PM

My microphoto is doing the exact same thing. When I boot to recovery mode and select any of the options the player freezes while trying to execute the task. For example if I select 'clean up' the 'scan disk...' window comes up and immediately freezes. The only option in recovery mode that functions is the restart option, but when I restart it freezes at the creative logo again.
Ideally I would like to upgrade the firmware, but like traceinnabox my computer does not recognize the player...
This seems to be a problem that is not unique to me. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

  • Windows 7 and Creative Official Drivers! It really works!

Ok guys, I'm really ecstatic that this works! Here are all of the steps that you need to follow to get your OFFICIAL Creative drivers working on Windows 7!
So usually you'll run the installer but it'll tell your that your OS is unsupported and that you need one "newer" than XP. Here is the fix for it!
. First, download the appropriate driver for your card.
    2. Create a temporary folder somewhere that you'll remember, e.g. on your desktop.
    3. Right click on the downloaded driver (once complete) in your downloads folder. Click "Extract Files..." and when it loads extract them to your temporary folder.
    4. Go into your temporary folder where the files extracted to. Right click on the Setup icon. It should be right there, no need to go into any other folders. In the menu select "properties."
    5. Go to the "compatibility" tab and check the box at the bottom that says "run as administrator." After that go to the top and check the box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for:" and then choose "Windows Vista" from the dropdown menu. Click "ok".
    6. Return to the temporary folder and double click on the same setup icon that you just changed and follow through with the installer. You're done!

Yes it works but it doesn't have fully working 7. surround sound mode My new drivers make surround sound work and new bass added to it. I be release them this [email protected]

  • Had a failed Firmware Upgrade on a Zen??? LOOK INSIDE FOR POSSIBLE

From the Nomadness.net forums: (I had the same problem and user inferno9 at those forums posted this which fixed my issues - hope it helps!)
The problem was that I had formatted the dri've and attempted to reload the firmware, when, BOOM, the firmware updates would not detect the player. I tried all kinds of different strategies, different drivers, different applications, safe mode, etc...until I FINALLY figured it out.
Buried deep within Microsoft's website, I found this link...

Issues updating firmware on Creative ZEN portable devices after installing Windows Media Player
If you have a Creative ZEN device, make sure the device has the latest firmware before you install the beta release of Windows Media Player . To download the latest firmware, go to Creative Worldwide.
If you try to upgrade the firmware on your Creative ZEN after you install the beta release of Windows Media Player , the Creative firmware upgrade software might not recognize your device.
In this case, remove Windows Media Player , update the Creative firmware, and then reinstall Windows Media Player . Creative plans to address this issue in future firmware updates.

i think that it would be absolutely awesome if us nano/nano plus owners could listen to the suscription service music like Yahoo Music Unlimited and Napster to go. • Does this program really work?

I got this link for a convert program from this forum but I don't want to buy it unless I know its going to work. I already got QT pro just to find out that it didn't convert my files right and now i'm stuck with it.
    http://www.divmm.com/
The program is called Video Vault, it clames to convert DVDs, VCDs, SVCDs, Analog/Digital Camcorder Tapes. Files types = AVI, Mpeg1, Mpeg2, Mpeg4, ASF, WMV, DVR-MS, TIVO, VOB
Most of the video formats I have are AVIs and MPEG1s and nothing else seems to do it right so if anyone has used this program can you please tell me if it really works?
    thank you

  • Battery isn't really working

    Hi,
So all of a sudden my battery light was not fully turned on/glowed when I charge my computer. At first, my computer would still charge, however, the light still doesn't glow often, and it rarely does it's job of charging...  I really hope I don't have to replace the charger since they are a tad expensive.
    Thanks,

click on your apple logo - top left - and click on about this mac - then more info - then system report.
left hand side - power section - see what it says about your battery.
under condition - does it say normal or service battery?
if it says normal, try doing a smc reset to and see if that sorts it out for you.
if however, it says service battery - i guess it's time to go and see apple to diagnose if your battery needs to be replaced.
good luck - hope you get it sorted out...

  • Bad file signatures firmware upgrade MI424WR rev G

    Hello,
I am not entirely sure if I needed a firmware upgrade since all was working ok, but when I attempted to upgrade the firmware on my MI424WR rev G router to to 4.0.16.1.56.0.10.11.6-MI424WR.rmt I got an bad file signatures error msg. I tried it several times and doublechecked I had the correct router model. Also, is this device supposed to be downloading and installing such updates by itself? Thank you.

The ActionTec routers are set by Verizon to automatically download firmware upgrades, so yes they are "supposed" to. At times you can run a manual firmware upgrade or even downgrade if you are having issues.

    Hello,
    I have the same problem.
I have above mentioned TV since 3 months So far, everything was wonderful.
Yesterday an update is installed automatically.
After that all stations were adjusted and I no longer get into the cloud menu.
So if I press the button with the "house", nothing happens.
Wi-Fi is enabled and network test was successful. The Red button also works. So I'll be over in the individual libraries.
Three times I set back the TV .Without Success.
Once I was able to get into the cloud menu. When I went out of it and want into the menu again nothing happened.
I also can not access the contents of my USB flash drive.
    The latest firmware is installed.
    Did someone have an idea?
    Thanks in advance

  • New Creative ZEN Firmware 1.21.03" firmware does not work

    >New Creative ZEN Firmware .2.03" firmware does not work This new "Creative ZEN Firmware .2.03, Filesize : 7.6 MB" firmware does not work.
All I get is : "Please make sure there is only one player connected" (See image below)
I have a CreativeZen 4GB player with Vista 64-Bit Operating system (Main System).
Yes, I have followed the instructions step-by-step, downloaded the new firmware first, then, connected my ZEN player, double-clicked the "ZEN_PCFW_L22__2_03" downloaded file.
Note : No other programs were running in the backround, even turned off installed firewall and anti-virus software. Also, tried this new firmware in a Windows XP (SP2) computer system and a Notebook Vista 32-Bit computer system. Yes! I only have one player connected. Same result (See image below).
I left it sit for one hour and did not move, same result (See image below).
I tried this in safemode (All OS systems), same result (See image below).

Re: New Creative ZEN Firmware .2.03" firmware does not work$ I updated my Zen 32GB using Vista x64 so it can work under some situations. Can't say my upgrade went problem-free but it did work in the end.
You might try some of the following (no promises they will help, but can't really hurt):
Re-download the firmware updater. Maybe you got a bad download.
Make sure your Zen is directly connected to a system USB port (i.e. not to a port on a monitor, keyboard, ext USB hub, etc.)
Try running the firmware update as Administrator if you aren't already
Try uninstalling the Creative drivers before the update.
In my case I got stuck on a message that another application was using my Zen. Turned out the simple act of hooking up the player resulted in Vista running a headless "wmplayer.exe *32" process. I had to manually kill it from TaskManager in order to proceed. Even then the first update attempt ended with the Zen reporting a firmware problem and rebooting into the Recovery Menu. I had to use Reload Firmware to erase what it had and then try again. Second time was the charm.
After all that I can't for the life of me see any changes/improvements in the new firmware. The forum is full of gripes and wishlists yet none of them complain about the radio functionality. I've used it almost every day for year without issue (aside from the rare Zen hang/crash when messing with the headphone jack and/or sliding the power switch). Thank goodness after waiting 0- months since the last update they got around to fixing something nobody noticed was broken. /2?:smileyvery-happy:

  • Creative zen firmware update now trouble with creative media sou

I wanted to start downloading music from an online store and was advised that I needed a firmware upgrade for my creative zen, which I did (version 2.2.02) and could download music. However since I have done this my zen is no longer recognised when I connect to my pc - which is running on Windows XP. I took advice from creative and reloaded my firmware after starting my player in recovery mode and then I reloaded the creative media source organiser software. After that I could find the player in the organiser but everything was laid out differently with all my music in folders which made it really tricky to navigate.
The icon is this grey thing which doesnt look like a creative at all! Although I can move files around it is still not recognised on the bottom right of my pc and I can't safely remove the hardware because of this. I am also having problems with syncing from the pc library to the zen and it is not picking up duplicate files but adding them again so I am getting loads of copies of the same music - nightmare. When I am deleting it is just not recognising and I have been through this process a few times now and its getting pretty tiresome!
Should I reinstall the organiser again and do a clean up in recovery mode?

The Zen MicroPhoto is an MTP Device.
    Minimum System Requirements:
Microsoft? Windows? XP (Service Pack or higher)/XP 64-bit
You might find a work-around for not having the minimum system requirements in this thread or this thread.
