Is CS5 due for an upgrade?
I ask this question, because I was a little late purchasing CS4, and by the time I had it properly up and running on my XP sp3 machine, they brought out CS5. Add to that the fact that I bought a new Win 7 machine, and then found CS4 had a few compatibility problems, and I was not a happy bunny. Luckily I kept my XP machine, and still use it for web work.
Having been a Dreamweaver and Fireworks user since version 3 - (not CS3) and using the two together for webs site design, it seems that I am no longer catered for by Adobe. There is no economic upgrade path for my CS4 Web Standard, and UK prices are way above US prices. I don't want to get bitten twice!
So before I go down the less expensive path of purchasing a stand alone copy of Dreamweaver, and using Fireworks CS4 to produce the graphics, I need to be sure that the next upgrade version is not just around the corner.
Can anyone tell me when the next version is due for release?

I don't believe they were looking for a trade in, they are due for a subsidized Verizon upgrade. I think the bringing the iPhone 4 was for setting it up and transferring as Verizon does not require you to swap your previous phone for an upgrade.

You'll need to do an Assumption of Liability. The parent that is the account owner and your boyfriend will both have to be at the store to do this. Your line is actually your parents and it will be your fiancee's once the change is made. But you should be able to get your upgrade and you definitely get to keep your number. Also depending on your fiancee's credit history there may be a security deposit required.

Can I look up what date I am due for an upgrade and what phones will be available to me at what price?
Or do I have to speak to someone on the phone or at a store to find out this information?

When you do become eligible, you will get the 2 year contract price of the phones - which is displayed on Verizon's website. -

There is no way nor any need to delete an Apple ID.
Purchases are permanently tied to the Apple ID.
Regardless of having an iOS device, if you ever have the intent of listening/watching the media purchased with your Apple ID or in the future using an iOS device and the purchased apps, you will need that Apple ID.
Simply restore the device as new prior to selling and it will wipe all your content and personal information from the device. -
Im due for an upgrade next month.....
In your guys and gals opinions, should I get the 4S or should I tough it out and wait for 5 (when I have not clue when it is being released). My 3GS is really slowing down now, I have had it for 2.5 years....... I can't decide..... what does everyone think?
ps. Hope mentioning the 5 does not get me into trouble.....3GS to 4S is an excellent upgrade. If your 3GS is slowing down and you don't feel like waiting, I wouldn't feel bad about upgrading to 4S now. I think you'll be happy. Remember, no one has any idea when the next iPhone will be released. You could set yourself to wait another 8 months.

Hello, I've got a Upgrade-Version of CS5.5 for Windows and changed to a Mac. Now I need the Mac-Version. I tried to install the Download from Adobe. Unfortunatly it didn't accept my password. If you purchased used software you're pretty much on your own. Much of what is sold on places like eBay or Craigs List doesn't have valid licenses. Caveat emptor. -
How does one transfer CS5 actions for use with CS6?
CS6 installation, which was uneventful, has transferred none of my actions from my copy of CS5. The CS5 actions are located in the actions folder of the APPLICATION/PHOTOSHOP CS5/PRESETS/ACTIONS. The "actions" folder in application support/adobe in my library is empty, and has always been so.
Only the CS6 default actions are located in the same folder for CS6.
I use imac i7, lion.
Note that i also have CS3 and CS4 on my machine. This due to recent upgrade to CS5 and recent upgrade to LION, and my general paranoia.
Must i load each action into CS6, one at a time?

On a Mac - There are multiple ways to do this. I have done them both ways. In order to do this you need to know where you have your actions stored, and you can move them all at once if you have them stored in the same location.
1. You can load an action ONE AT TIME into your actions palette by:
A. Open up the action palette and click on the little arrow with 4 little horizontal lines next to it on the upper right corner of the actions palette.
B. Select "Load Actions" and a Finder window will open up and you can search your computer through this window for your actions.
C. Click on the action from the Finder window then click 'Open' at the bottom right of the finder window.
D. To save these so that they appear every time you open up your actions palette, go back to the little arrow at the top right of the actions palette and when the drop down window opens- click on 'Save Actions'. It will select the location where the actions are currently stored as the place to save them. If you want to change that path, you can do it at this time in the little path window. I just leave it, since I keep all my actions stored in the same file.
2. TO MOVE MULTIPLE ACTION SETS AT ONCE
A. Open up CS6 (or CS5) and move the Photoshop workspace it to the right side of your computer screen so you can see your desktop on the left side.
B. Open up your Finder search window from your dock (the square blue head icon thingy for those who are new to photoshop). Move this to the left side of your screen so you can see the Photoshop work space on the right and the Finder window on the left. In the Finder window, navigate to the file where all your actions are stored, select all the actions in the file (command+A will select everything in the file if you are actively inside the open file) or you can select multiple files individually by continuously holding down the command key and clicking on the different actions you want to move.
C. With the Photoshop workspace visible on the right, and the actions palette open so you can see that the actions actually transferred - In the Finder window, click the selected actions you want to load and drag them over to the Photoshop workspace. I did this without an image open, I just dragged them onto the empty workspace. The actions should all appear immediately in the actions palette that is open.
D. To save these so that they appear every time you open up your actions palette, go back to the little arrow at the top right of the actions palette and when the drop down window opens click on 'Save Actions'. It will select the location where the actions are stored as the place to save them. If you want to change that path, you can do it at this time in the little path window. I just leave it, since I keep all my actions stored in the same file.

I am trying to upgrade my Creative Suite 5 to Creative Cloud but am being told that I do not qualify for the upgrade, does anyone know why?

Pages and icons (in the tabs and navigation bars) are too big due to 22 upgrade
Due to FF22 upgrade (from 21), all my icons (from webpages, addons and regular buttons) and tabs have got bigger and that's really ugly because of the low resolution of the images. Also considering I have a rather big number of tabs I can just see a smaller number of them and it's annoying.
The zoom of the page is now bigger (given that I has already zoom in in version 21, now the pages are too big and I have to zoom out a page that was correctly zoomed in 21)
Surprisingly the menu bar is intact !
Is that a new graphic convention ? Is there an update of something like GTK+ in this new version that could be responsible of this bug ? And mainly is there anyway to fix it ?
My screen resolution is 1920*1080. And for example with chromium or FF21 the menu have the perfect size.
PS: Sorry for my poor English.All these confusing explanations on how to fix something that never should have been changed. It just pisses me off that I now have to get used to inferior graphics because someone thought it would be cool to screw with settings people have obviously been using for who knows how long. I have tried simply zooming down and that doesn't work. I am not going to enter a bunch of techie gobbledeegook and screw up my whole internet experience. I am just PISSED!!!!
How about another version to correct this? Hey, if someone wants to stay with this one, fine. At least give us people who aren't tech wizards an option to stick with what we have and what we have been happy with for years. Now, excuse me.. I need to get away from this.. I am so f***king pissed!!!
30 minutes later: Okay, I went to about:config and a window came up .. pretty much telling me my computer would blow sky high and take me with it. I'm just an old lady who WAS passing my time browsing and playing a few games. Oops, I'm getting mad again. PS I NEVER talk like this, but this has ruined my whole fricken day.
15 minutes later: I decided to give up. I went to play some monopoly at my favorite game site and the pop up window with the game board was unplayable. The board was way down the window and not complete. So, I went back and despite all the warnings went back to Version 21. I have used Firefox for years and have sworn by it and defended it and given it my best reviews. up until now. I absolutely don't want to quit FF, but I don't know all the tech stuff, I guess is required to change formats back to what you are used to. I still can't believe FF would make a drastic change across the board without warning or giving a choice. If I didn't know how to downgrade, I wouldn't be able to use my PC to help me get through each day. Why why why? -
An enquirey concerning eligibility for possible 'upgrade' purchase

I recently have purchased a valid and legitimate (brand new and sealed) version of Adobe Premiere from a reseller on Ebay.
The version in question is Premiere 6.0 and it was won via a bid. Giving that no one else made any bids, I got it for a complete steal.
As I mentioned... The version is legit with a genuine license, and I obv have proof of my purchase via paypal receipt and other related emails. It was also purchased from a proffesional reseller.
So my question is... Do I qualify to be able to purchase an 'Upgrade' version of the newest Premier Pro?

states that to qualify, you just have to own a single user retail license for said software, have evidence of purchase and a registered seriel number.
I do have all of these things... However I'm not sure how tangible my eligibility for an 'upgrade' purchase is, due to the nature my purchase.
Any elaboration on this issue is much appreciated ...The issue isn't whether the copy you have is legit or not. It's too far back to be eligible for the upgrade. From the upgrade requirements.....
