Is data in a locked keychain accessible?

Is there any way to get into my keychain, of which I've forgotten the password, without losing everything inside?
Really any path, like in single-user/verbose modes or xcode etc. etc.

Ok so this is how far the power reaches:
By making a new admin account, in which you can change the password of the others, you can:
• Get into the system passwords, because this section asks for both a password and username, which is great to get to your wifi and back-to-my-mac keys.
• Not get to the users passwords, after changing the password of your fellow admin as soon as you login a message will be promted. In short it'll say that the password has changed but the keychain's password did not. It leaves you with three possible options: either delete it and make a new one, enter the old password and unlcok it to change it or just continue to log into the account.
So that wraps it up I think.
You can't access the keychain by overruling it with a new password or general password. Which leaves open two options: Either bang on the door with almoste endless possibilities of passwords ór kick in the rear...
Ergo; anyone familiar with that backdoor?

SEM-BPS 6.0 error message requested data cannot be locked but at 999 row?

Hi all,
We are using SEM-BPS with WIB and EP 7.0 and I encountered issues for the first time. I normally avoid configuring layouts with large hierarchies but at this one the client insisted. They are in testing right now and selection of relatively small node (approx. 10-20 cost centers) still gave us an error message.
I know layouts has a limit of 9,999 rows and we should have been okay since it is about 200-300 lines per cost center but we are getting the error message below and it mentioned a limit of 999 rows in the selection table.. Any way we can change that?

Diagnosis
In order to edit data from InfoProvider 'ZYEE_C02', the requested data has to be locked exclusively for user 'YEESU01'. The data that is currently being requested is specified by a very large selection table. In order to lock the data exclusively, the system has to store a compressed version of this selection table on the SAP standard lock server. However, the compressed selection table still has more than 999 rows. So that a reasonable number of users are able to change data at the same time, the system limits the number of records allowed in a selection table to 999 records.
Information on Context of Lock Request:
Lock requests can come from BI-Planning or from BW-BPS. The context specifies the following information:
BI-Planning: for a lock request from a query, {Planning Function} for a lock request from a planning function.
BW-BPS: {Planning Area}{Planning Level}{Planning Package}{Planning Function}{Parameter Group}. For lock requests from manual planning the following is true: Planning function = '0-MP' and the parameter group is the technical name of the planning layout.
InfoProvider 'ZYEE_C02' is always a Basis InfoProvider. The current context information is:
'{0-ADHOC}{0-MP}'

The requested data cannot be locked.

in RSPLSE you use the option that the BI lock table is maintained in the SAP enqueue server. Here there is a limit - as explained in the long text of the message - that the compressed selection table for one enqueue request should not have more than 999 rows. This limit can not be changed.
The selection table seems to be very big, since the compression factor is at least 5. So please check your selection table:
1 check whether you can make the characteristic causing the problem not lock relevant
2 or use the second option that the BI lock table is maintained in a shared memory area of the central instance of the system.
But it is better to keep the selection tables small, e.g. by making some characteristics not lock relevant.
Check sizing note 928044, e.g. in case you want to use 2. The default setting is very small.

Goods Issue/Issue to Production with Batch in status Locked/Not Accessible

I want to block users to add GI/Issue to Production with batch in status Locked/Not Accessible
Is it possible to create an approval? A problem here that we have different forms for batch and Goods Issue. Maybe something else can help me?
As I see that is I can create only alert, but I would like to prevent creating a document

The B1 built-in approval only works with marketing documents. This includes Goods Issue for 2007 version. For Issue to Production, you have to use SP Transaction Notification to block.

CJR2-The plan data transfer is locked

Hi,
I am planning costs by CJR2 on a WBS element for a certain period and version by cost element.When I execute CJR2,it allows me to enter the values against periods but when I try to save ,system gives error message-The plan data transfer is locked for fiscal year 2009 and version F06 in controlling area 1000.
I have checked in OKP1 and also in CO versions,this version is not locked for any transactions and Fiscal year 2009.Has anyone come accross similar situation and how was it resolved.
Its matter of urgency,any help will be highly appreciated.

Locked Keychain notes crash Keychain

Locked Keychain notes crash Keychain — serious trouble for me, as I have so much protected info there and only there. Notes that are not locked open just fine. Separately, but related, I've tried to set up so my Keychain is shared between my Mini and my MBA, but it has never worked. If it had, I might be able now to at least find my credit card info, etc., when I need it. Please help.

Problem with recovering data from Bit Locker enabled hard disk with bad sectors

Hi,
I have Lenovo T430 laptop with Windows 7 and Bit Locker enabled hard disk. While working I encountered blue screen error multiple times. After some time, the laptop stopped to boot by itself and started showing error 'A disk read write error has occurred.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart' message. I tried to connect the hard disk to a different PC as a secondary drive and tried to check the disk to recover the data. The 500 GB disk is showing as unallocated space and I am not sure how to recover the
data from the hard disk. Appreciate your help to recover the data from corrupted hard disk.
I used the Lenovo Diagnostics tools available in BIOS and it showed 48 bad sector errors on the hard disk. I also used Windows 7 CD and tried auto repair but it looks like it didn't do anything.

Since there are 48 bad sectors on your hard disk, this means the system can not boot any more, the data might not be restored in a normal way, you'd better turn to data restore company for help.

How can I check the expiration date of a Certificate Keychain from terminal?

Hello, I am writing a bash script to alert me when my corporate certificates are about to expire. How can I check the expiration date of a certificate in keychain? I'm running Mac OS 10.6.8 on a newer MacBook pro with full admin rights.
Specifically I will be checking three certs: a Root Authority, Issuing Authority, and a user cert (Identity).
I was exploring the Security and Openssl command line tools. But I can't seem to get the info I need.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

[iPhone] what is the best practice for storing data? SQLite or Keychain ?

Can't find clear guideline about when and what should I store in Keychain and when to use files, SQLite.
I need to save large array of data that is configuration of application.
This configuration should not disappear in event of application upgrade or reinstall. It should be stored in Keychain, right?

Only use the keychain if you need the added security. Even then it is not meant for large data storage. SQLite allows fast and efficient retrieval of subsets of the data and allows selection with the SQL language. Plists are handy but the entire data must be read in to access any portion so if the amount of data is small this is ideal.

Update the expiry date of dunning lock in program

I have requirement where I want to update dunning lock expiry date to today's date in the program. Does anybody have idea about FM or BAPI for that.
I have actually used FKK_S_LOCK_DELETE but here i dont want to delete it directly. I have checked other FMs in function group FKLOCK but couldn't find any suitable.

Hi Murtuza,
You can use function module BAPI_ISUACCOUNT_CHANGE.
Pass dunning lock details in parameter TCTRACLOCKDETAIL. This function module only create and delete locks.
So, you need to pass existing lock details (from table DFKKLOCKS) with PROCESSING_MODE = 04 (delete) and append another value with changed expiry date with PROCESSING_MODE = 01 (Create).
This will also help in maintain lock history too.

Version 2.1.0.63 - export data file is locked

I followed the tutorial for Getting Started with Oracle SQL Developer - Adding Data to a Table
After adding a total of 5 rows to the newly created table: DEPENDENTS I followed the instructions to export to a .csv by right clicking on a cell and exporting to a file e.g. C:\DEPENDENTS.csv
Although I can find the file, I can't open it with Excel 2003 - I tried disconnecting from the User HR and SQLDeveloper appears to hold a lock on the file.
If I quit SQLDeveloper I can open the file in Excel - otherwise I get a message file C:\DEPENDENTS.csv is locked for editing, by 'another user' e.g. SQLDeveloper.
I would expect the file to be created and be available for immediate use.

Looking for way to arrange data to allow locking

Okay, I know Numbers won't let you protect just some cells in a table (I consider this a foolish weakness - who wants to make it easy to screw up a formula?). I've seen options to cover the formulas cells with text boxes or shapes that you can see through and lock them. But that doesn't let you really prevent screwing things up - you can just use the cursor keys to move to the formula cells under the text or shapes.
So, unless I missed something, it seems the only other option is to somehow organize things so any data entry stuff is on tables with no formulas and formulas are on tables where you would do no data entry.
This would seem to complicate things quite a bit in my case.
Right now I have a table with attendance information - almost all data entry (names, class, codes for daily attendance). There are 8 columns with formulas though. Seven are kept hidden so not a problem. The other give an overall grade score based on their attendance and that needs to be seen.
A second table is for giving test scores. The names are put in by formula referencing the first table. Need to be able to see the names in line with grade entry! And it ends with the average for those tests so that is a formula too, just as the names are.
A third table is just like the second - just a different grade category.
Then there is a summary table which pulls in the averages, lets me enter extra credit, and gives the average.
Those are the ones that matter (the other has lookup tables so not an issue). So, all four tables have both data and formulas. Even if I put the averages for each test/attendance area only on the Summary sheet, I still have the two test tables with data and formulas.
It doesn't seem like a good idea to type in names for each table so that is one problem.
But if I didn't put the names on the tables for grades at all, I'd still need names listed someplace which lined up with the grade rows. I could do that, but then, every time I needed to add a student, I'd have to separately add or insert a row in the separate name tables for each grade table.
I don't know if there is any better approach in how I organize my data what would avoid both problems.
That was probably about as clear as mud!

This exercise can be frustrating, but in some ways it is fun. I got pretty proficient with Excel. My stuff was never pretty, but it was functional and pretty complicated in the formulas.
But years ago I pretty much solved all my needs and, frankly, have forgotten much of what I did, especially with visual basic stuff I used. So, I'm enjoying getting into the challenge again with Numbers. I'm determined to replace everything I have in Excel if it is remotely possible. This is the biggest, most complicated one.
I may be able to eliminate calculated cells in data tables, though whether I'll be happy with it, I'm not sure yet.
All my data and calculations in Excel are on one big sheet - each part in sections (Attendance codes/how many of each/attendance score, Test area 1/Average, Test area 2/Average, etc, and finally a summary section showing the averages for each section all together, the final percent average, a column showing the numbers our school computer wants them entered as (97-100 = an A+ but is entered at school as a "12" (F would be zero), and one more column that converts it to a letter grade for my own benefit.
Other tables used for reference, such as what attendance codes are worth and what weighting I used for each are in other worksheets I just go to by selecting their tab.
Anyway, I was thinking about using a big table in Numbers too (my present version breaks everything into separate tables). This big table would have the names and one or two other things in a column header. There would be NO formulas in it - just the data. Then, I'd create tables like I have now which simply reproduce the same things as in the main table, probably in a different sheet though). Essentially it would ALL formulas. For example, it would duplicate all the attendance stuff, via formulas, and simply add the additional columns to count how many of each code and the score each student gets in attendance.
Then another table for the first test area, another for the second. Again, same info as on the main sheet, but filled in by formula and adds a column to each of these tables to give the final adverage in each category.
Finally, a summary table which is also all formulas, bringing in each of the averages and calculating a final average. It would access a lookup table for weighting the grades (the attendance calculations would do the same to determine how many points to subtract from 100 for each negative mark).
With this kind of setup, the big sheet/table would not be locked but have no formulas. The other tables would contain nothing but formulas and thus be locked.
But the hard stuff is in the details. Consider:
1. When entering any grade, it is always nice to immediately see the effect it has on the average in that category (or the final average though I don't do both in Excel). With one big sheet in Numbers with no formulas, I won't see that.
2. Similar to the above problem, I always have an extra credit column which simply adds whatever points I enter to whatever the grade would have been. I particularly like to see the results of that immediately.
3. Printing situations. This is hard to explain because we all have different preferences. I don't take the computer to school - no time to enter data during class - so I take a printout to inform me and to let me enter anything that may happen that day or even over several days until I put it in the computer and do a new printout.
My most common printout shows what grade the student is in, their name (both in frozen columns so they show up in any printout), their attendance score, enough columns in the next grade area to show all scores to date (I hide "extras"), the average for that section, same for the next grade area and if I have another grade area, the same for that. Lastly, their bonus points and average. Other columns are hidden.
Clearly not ideal - hiding columns differently and the grading period progresses for example or unhiding temporarily to see things I only need to see occasionally.
4. A big one is when I have to insert or add a student. With one big sheet and nothing else, I insert a row, copy and paste the formulas in one shot (actually do all this via visual basic), and type the student's basic info. But with all these tables in Numbers, it seems I'd have to insert in each one and copy/paste in each one. Kind of a pain and multiple chances to screw it up!
Oh, the other tables would NOT have column headers since I can't access such columns in mail merge. They would have that info in regular columns from the main table so mail merge would access the names in those.
I would start my design with the premise that the student names will be entered only once, in a table that will remain locked except when the roster is being edited. Editing and sorting the roster table will automatically adjust names wherever referenced. <</div>
Not sure I follow all that. I understand the separate table, though I don't know if that is necessary (see my idea above), but the last part interests me. Just need to see how it would work with my present (or future!) approaches.
Hopefully this will be useful to others. I've seen plenty of gradebooks over the years, but only some professional ones have handled attendance very well and almost never letting a person use multiple attendance codes in the same cell or let you use the codes you want (letting upper and lower case be counted separately). This lets teachers work they way they are used to - such as "A" being an exexcused absence and "a" being excused.
I'll send it to anyone who wants it or is there a way to upload it here when done?
Once done, maybe other users will come up with improvements.

N97 Mini - Phone Data Lost when Lock Code is chang...

I have changed the 'Lock Code' of my N97 mini under Settings>Phone>Phone Management> Security Settings> Phone and SIM Card> Lock Code. And to my surprise, after I changed the Lock Code, I found that all my contacts, messages and notes are lost. But Photos/Videos/Recorded files are available. I have tried all the ways but could not see the contacts/messages/notes/calendar entries. Unfortunately I donot have a back up of the data. Is there a way to restore the contacts/messages/notes on the phone?

Can we know what kind of data source is this. attribute or text data source.
what is data volume? its less or more?
Actually we load direct access data thru dtp(No psa) into info objects for text data sources where have less data only.
While running your dtp is any attribute change run for the same info object ot any transactional loads are happening?
Is this happens on particular day or weekend or anydays?
