Is E17 the only WM/DE with the right Xinerama support?

Hi everybody,
I'd like to ask if you know of any other WM/DE that is capable of managing different virtual desktops (aka workspaces, pagers, etc.) on different monitors like E17 does.
For those that didn't try E17 with Xinerama, E17 lets you have a pager on each monitor and when you change virtual desktop on a particular monitor the content of the other monitor(s) won't get affected.
Before trying E17 I was using Gnome running on two different displays i.e. without Xinerama, but I want to be able to move windows from a monitor to another (and keep the two monitor separated and not have them treated as one big monitor).
Hope this makes sense, and sorry for my bad English!

actually dwm is not optimized for dual monitor usage, and specifically states that it does not support xinerama
you may confused with another wm
right now im using XMonad because it supports xinerama quite well.
Though I would like to get Awesome working better, i'm having trouble working it on my xinerama setup. (using twinview)

Adobe Updater can be run only by users with administrator rights error on 2003 termianl server

I just installed the latest security update of 8.1.7 on my two terminal servers. Now when each users logs in, they get the following error.
Insufficient Rights (title)
Adobe Updater can be run only by usrs with administrator rights.
They simply click OK and it goes away but it is very annoying. It seems like every time their is an update to Adobe Reader, something goes wrong.
Does anybody have any thoughts on how to stop the Adobe Updater from loading when my users login? Thanks,

Here is the solution I found.
"Renaming %program files%/Common Files/Adobe/updater5 to something else removed the error."
This seems like a brute force approach, but it does work. I checked the event logs after doing this and don't see any errors in the App or System logs. This folder is the location of AdobeUpdater.exe and all of the Adobe .cer files, so it makes sense that this works, but seems like it should generate other errors...
This is not how I wanted to solve the problem but it did solve it.

Howto build e17 the right way with the help of takhis PGKBUILDs

hello!
first of all, thank you takhis for packaging e17!
you offer the PKGBUILDs for e17, so i decided to build them by myself to have the newest version, because i need it for the new simply-white theme (0.8.3). with the version from 2008-12-22 i do not see any window in the pager!
i built and installed them in the order commended by the wiki @ enlightenment.org.

but i get errors while starting it and after recovering it jerks! the hole desktops acts like a high-end game on a not so potent system.
can someone or takhis give me some hints i have to note while building the packages?

I understand, as that was the place I would change it before 8.3 but now that option of Mail Days to Sync is not available? Any idea why that would be?

While using Skype on my mac pro the screen freezes and splits in two and the left hand side shifts to the right and the right shifts to the left with a large black block down the centre, should I take it back to store as it is only a month old??

I have only had my mac one month and it seems while I use Skype the screen freezes and I cant click on anything and everything on the right hand side of the screen shifts to the left and the left to the right with a back block down the centre and sometimes lines running down the screen over all. As it is almost brand new should I be going back to store to get this problem fixed??

If you see Devices in the big list on the left-hand side of iTunes, it should show the name of your iPhone right below it. You can right-click (or hold ctrl and left click) on the name of the iPhone there, and choose "transfer purchases from iPhone".
If you're on iTunes 11, you won't see the big list of the left until you go to the View menu at the very top (where you see iTunes/File/Edit/View/etc) and choose Show Sidebar. Then do the same thing: right-click or ctrl and left-click on the iPhone's name below Devices and "transfer purchases from iPhone".
It'll ask you to authorize the computer for your Apple ID if you haven't yet; to do that, you just type your Apple ID and password in when it asks. If it says you are not authorized but doesn't automatically give you an option to do so, then you can go to the Store menu at the very top and choose "authorize this computer".

Create a parent folder on your computer to store the named folders of photos that you want transferred to your iPhone. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, select the parent folder. All named folders of photos within will be transferred to your iPhone as separate folders or albums.
Regarding your 2nd question, this should be easy. Your contacts should be available on your computer with or without an iPhone or any cell phone, which can be lost or stolen.
Although contacts are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, not a good idea to depend on this either since the iPhone backup includes a significant amount of other data. Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer. With Windoze, this can be with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events and notes, or with the address book app used by Outlook Express with XP and by Windows Mail with Vista and Windows 7 called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only.

How are you backing up the photos? The best way is to backup the library itself as that will preserve your organizational efforts as well as all metadata like keywords, titles, faces, places, books, etc.
You can use a backup application that does incremental backups. Thus only the first backup is a full one and subsequent backups just copy those files that are new or changed. I use Synk Pro. The lower cost version, Synk, will do the same job. Other similar apps can be found at MacUpdate.com.
OR: upload your camera to a folder on the Desktop. There you can rename the files to something that is more informative than just the file name. I use the date (international format) along with a brief desc: 2007-1-20-adian1stbday-001.jpg. File renaming apps can also be found at MacUpdate.com. Also you can give the folder an informatve name which will become the Event name when you import the folder of photos into iPhoto.

I have tried downloading several fonts, including those from professional societies, but the only way to get Hebrew in my document is to cut and paste. Does anyone know how to fix this? I use an older MacBook running OS 10.9.1. I used to do my Hebrew work in Word, but it is no longer supported by Mac OS.

Just clarifying:
Pages '09 has bad support for Hebrew, Arabic etc but will accept pasted text.
Pages 5 has much better support but with bugs.
If you have columns they are in the wrong order ie Text starts in the left column and ends in the right column.
If you type English into Hebrew text it tends to fall in the wrong position eg instead of to the left of Hebrew punctuation it goes to the right.
As Tom recommends the only real solution on the Mac is Mellel.
