what are you talking about?
If it is VMware you could check the SAP notes.
For example:
674851 Virtualization on Windows  -> Not Recommended for Production
You also have this note for linux: 1122387: Linux: Supported virtualization technologies with SAP
In any case, if you look for an answer in this forum you should provide (much) more information.

  • IWeb as a supported Apple Product Go Forward

Will iWeb be a supported apple product go forward? or is it confirmed end of life?

It has been confirmed that iWeb, and iDVD, has been discontinued by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD.
On June 30, 2012 MobileMe will be shutdown. However, iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:
Features No Longer Available Once MobileMe is Discontinued:
    ◼ Password protection
    ◼ Blog and photo comments
    ◼ Blog search
    ◼ Hit counter
    ◼ MobileMe Gallery
All of these features can be replaced with 3rd party options.
I found that if I published my site to a folder on my hard drive and then uploaded with a 3rd party FTP client subscriptions to slideshows and the RSS feed were broken.  If I published directly from iWeb to the FPT server those two features continued to work correctly.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows.  Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.
However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone.  How to is described in this tutorial: #26 - How to Modify iWeb So Popup Slideshows Will Work After MobileMe is Discontinued.
It now appears that the iLife suite of applications offered on disc is now a discontinued product and the remaining supported iApps will only be available thru the App Store from now on. However, the iLife 11 boxed version that is still available at the online Apple Store (Store button at the top of the page) and those still on the shelves of retailers will include iWeb and iDVD. Those two apps were listed in small, gray text on the iLife 11 box that I bought.
Personally, if I didn't already have a copy I would purchase one to have it for reinstallation purposes if ever needed.

  • Does Repetitive Manufacturing Supports CO-Product Costing as well.

Please can any one answer whether Repetitive Manufacturing  supports the C-Products costing.
I have 6 Co-Products coming out of my process and cost of all should be calculated and shall be taken as benefit for Main product costing.
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi,
Are you asking whether SAP PP module support co-product as compare to PP-PI module?
Yes, SAP PP module support co-product, in the BOM item basic data screen (CS01/CS02) you can indicator whether the item is a co-product or not.  You should post this to PP forum instead of MM forum.

  • Is vmware supported for production environment ?

    Hi All,
Is vmware supported for production environment ?
    Thanks
    Sunny

    All,
I'm glad someone has outlined the clear support statement that has existed for sometime between VMware - SAP.  For those of you still running on Oracle, here is some good news:
Wording towards SAP Customers requesting support:
"Oracle, VMware and SAP are working collaboratively to ensure support for SAP customers that use VMware virtualization for SAP solutions running Oracle DB. Functional tests are currently being performed to verify supportability of the SAP&Oracle stack.  Details will be made available in SAP note 1173954 u201CSupport of Oracle for VMwareu201D after tests have been completed. It is expected that in Q1 2010, ESX 3.5 and later releases including vSphere 4 will be supported by Oracle and SAP according to Oracleu2019s metalink note 249212."
There is no reason why x86 platform today cannot run the most demanding workloads on VMware vSphere in a production environment.  But has noted earlier, don't get hung up on "production" - you have heaps of TestDev, SolMan TestDev, sandboxes, gateways, application servers etc that should immediately by put into a VM - once you are comfortable with your solution in-house, I'm sure you will move production instances into a VM as well.

  • Hi...i want to know is apple laptops support microsoft products or components.

hi...i want to know is apple laptops support microsoft products or components.

Word of warning.  You can't just buy any microsft product.  It has to be the Mac version, of which for Microsoft office there is one for
    WORD,
    EXCEL,
    POWERPOINT
There is no microsoft application for Mac for PUBLISHER, ACCESS or any others.
How does this take into account the availability of Windows 7 under Bootcamp?  I think your point is that there are native Mac versions of some Microsoft products available. However, any others would need to run under Windows 7 in Bootcamp (or one of the alternative Windows environments).

  • MaxDB support for production systems

    Hi,
I have a DMS with MaxDB version 7.6.00.18.
I opened OSS message regarding an issue. I got a solution, however I was told that '7.6.00.18 is very outdated and no longer supported for productive systems'.
I can install the latest patch but how do I know when MaxDB version is no longer supported for productive system.
Can someone refer me to a note/article?
    Thanks,

  • Since Sun cannot support its product on Linux, is it any better on Win2k3?

Having spent over 20 hours and failing to get DSEE to work on Linux and the web console my conclusion is either look at a Windows platform or go find another product.....so does anyone run DSEE on Windows and can share their experience of support issues?

    Hello,
Yesterday I had expent 3 hours to install DS6.0 in my Linux.
This new server is talking to a set of previous DS6 servers runing on top of a Solaris 9 hosts.
Do you mind to describe excatly what you have done and what problems you faced?

  • Does Visual Studio Online support filtering Product Backlog/Sprint Views and Kanban by Area?

There seems to be guidance out there now that suggests using one Master Team Project (with Areas and Iterations for partitioning) for everything rather than a Team Project per Application/Solution as the 'out of the box' product sort of steers you towards.
If this guidance is valid, and I've heard that Microsoft use this approach internal, then is it possible to follow this guidance when using Visual Studio Online?
I ask because it appears that in order to follow the 'Master Team Project' approach you need to be able to filter various elements of the TFS UI by Area and Iteration in order to allow a discrete view of just the material relating to one 'logical' application,
    team, etc.
Whilst I see how on-premise TFS can do some of this, I can't see any obvious way to do this with Visual Studio Online - and I'm new to that particular product so accept I may have missed something.
So my question is, can you follow the 'Master Team Project' approach if using Visual Studio Online and if so could someone steer me in the right direction please?
    Thanks

    Hi  RedDwarf62,
Visual Studio Online(formerly Team Foundation Service) is a cloud-based service. When work with it, you can take it as TFS but no infrastructure to manage. You can follow the guide to work with Visual Studio Online.
To have mulpitle Applications/Solutions in one team project or use a team project for each application depends on you and the relationship between solutions/projects. If the solutons/applications has refences each other, it would be better to include
them in the same team project.
Working within a single Team Project also has its benefits. You can check this blog for more informaiton:

  • Multi language support for Product Information Management

Does Product Information Management support mutiple langauges and to what extent? For example, an Item Description can be entered for several language but can the user-defined attributes be entered for several languages?
Where can I find more documentation of the multi-language support of PIM?
We are on Advanced Product Catalog version 12.0.0.

Was able to do it by adding new files to the shared folder and updating the style in the lang folder to point to the new files.

  • Is the JMS adapter on the J2se supported for productive use?

    Hello ,
I am in a big confusion whether to go with simple J2SE AE for my JMS scenario or to install the J2EE AE.
Is there any consequences or problems or difference in using the JMS scenario in J2SE AE and J2EE AE?
It is purely for Production purpose. Whether it is supported to use J2SE AE for configuring JMS scenario in
    production systems?
    Regards,
    Soorya.

    Hi Michal Krawczyk,
I knew that they are using J2SE AE. But i am having more specific question like, Is it feasible to configure a JMS scenario in J2SE AE environment for business scenario in production system.
Can you please comment on this?

  • Add support for products that say No development planned in Vi

I see now all cards...Even Q4-release ones, all have a non-beta driver? available...seems like your all done now?, and ahead of the game?.... I have a 8mth old Webcam Li've! Pro that has no development planned, that you could work on a driver for Vista 64bit...

Well what im saying is they seem to be 'ahead of the game' (even tho my x-fi has the rare crackle)...Just saying it be nice if they would support products that are not that old...products that they are still selling. I bought many Creative devices..(speaker system, soundcards, webcams) as did everyone else. Would be nice to get more use out of my webcam li've pro yet.?Guess my biggest item was sound..and for the most part it is pretty decent...im sure the driver will be improved in short time.?

  • JSR 168 support on production environment??

    Hello Oracle people,
when are you going to support JSR168 portlets in you Oracle Portal?? Where is the money customers pay you for working? not enough? What do we do with this piece of closed source box you gave us if you can not be ahead many other open source (free) products? Can you stand the pace? you say "we support standards"... and I see you are falling behind.

you should be demanded because of the way you assure support of the JSR168 in your executive brochures... Any layer out there who can help?
Look this question and how Oracle answers:
Does Oracle Portal support JSR 168 and WSRP?
Oracle has been an active member of the standards bodies and been instrumental in the process of defining these portal interoperability standards:
    * JSR-168: Defines how Java developers should write portlets using standard APIs.
    * OASIS WSRP (Web Services for Remote Portlets): Defines the communication protocol between a portal application and the remote portlet./li>
Oracle fully supports the JSR 168 portlet specification. You can develop JSR 168 portlets using the Java Portlet Wizard, a JDeveloper plug-in. You can also deploy JSR 168 portlets to Oracle's or any other vendor's JSR 168 Java Portlet Container. Portlets deployed to Oracle's container are exposed to portals through WSRP, and can be registered against any portal vendor's WSRP compliant portal. The current version of Oracle Portal (Oracle Portal 10g Release 2 (10.1.2)) does not support WSRP, but you can register and test standard portlets using the OracleAS Portal Developer's Preview for Portlet Standards or the hosted WSRP compliant portal on http://portalstandards.oracle.com. You find additional information about Oracle and Portal standards on http://portalstandards.oracle.com.
When there is a simple answer: NO we do not support the JSR168 in Oracle Portal. We do a lot of other things... see this and that. But sadly our Oracle Portal does not support it, you can test a preview version but if it crashes its your problem (we proudly do very expensive closed source :).

  • Delphi has given up after Version 4.x. What now? They don't support your product so now we can't either. Any plans to make your web server a little nicer?

Um. I'm not sure I understand your question. It really sounds like your question should be addressed towards Borland's support team.
I haven't worked with Delphi since 1997, but I'll make a couple of observations:
It looks like Delphi's WebSnap interfaces with iWS via NSAPI. And the NSAPI in iWS 6.x is backwards compatible. So even if Borland doesn't officially support iWS 6.x it should still work fine.
If Borland is going to continue producing Delphi they will probably certify iWS 6.x soon. iWS 4.x support ends this fall and iWS still has the majority of the marketshare for the F500. Not certifying an enterprise product against iWS 6.x (especially a product that should already work unchanged) would seem to be a bad idea on Borland's part.
As far as planned improvements to iWS, of course there are planned improvements. But that doesn't seem to be the issue here. There are already lots of improvements that you would get if you upgrade from 4.x to 6.x. It's just that you are unable to take advantage of because of the Delphi tool. Another iWS release would only make your problem worse.
As far as "what now?", I'd suggest badgering Borland to support iWS 6.x. iPlanet has made it as easy as possible for ISV's. It just sounds like they have to train their support desk on iWS 6. And the only way to motivate them to do that is to have customers call them.

  • Contacting Apple Support About Product

I have just recently purchased  a pair of the Apple EarPods with remote and mic. After three days of the purchase date, I had only used them twice, one of the ears stopped making any sound. There has been no damage to these headphones and I haven't blared music into them, so I have no explanation as to why this happened. I also purchased these directly through Apple. I am now trying to figure out how to contact Apple to notify them of this problem and see about getting a refund. I can't seem to find anywhere that deals with this. Where can simply tell Apple that they sold me a defected product?

If you purchased within the last fourteen calendar days, call the Apple Store. If it's been longer, call Apple Support. You can find phone numbers for both by clicking the "Contact Us" link at the bottom-right of these web pages.
    Regards.
