Is Eloqua actually doing anything with Ideas Exchange?

I don't want this post to come across as brash, just wanted to spark some discussion.
I'm a fairly new Eloqua customer, and part of the onboarding included promotion about the new topliners community and the Salesforce.com driven Ideas Exchange.
I was looking through the ideas that had more than 100 points, and I couldn't find any where a (identified) representative from Eloqua has openly commented. Additionally, it does not appear that any suggested idea has ever come to fruition. Is this a misperception? It seems like there used to be another solution in place before they went to this new platform - what have some of you long time users experienced?
I've periodically voted, commented, and posted a couple ideas of my own; I'm trying to figure out my expectations and don't want to judge too hastily.

They do, as we have received news about their roadmap and some of the ideas in the Exchange are in it (the one I'm thinking about specifically is better security around assets, including Themes--yea!). As someone who works in the development/solutions side of the business, it gets complicated so I understand that the top rated ideas may not always make it immediately into the next release.
But on a side note, it is also my understanding that the higher the promotion points are, the more likely it will also end up in front of the product managers to consider.
Of course, as anyone in marketing knows , the object is to drive your "customer" to an action... you have to SELL your idea to get it promoted.
I've read many ideas out there that I wonder exactly what the person means or wants because it's so vague. That does not exactly encourage me to promote an idea. (I do semi-regularly surf through them to see if there are any my users that I support would be able to use or need, etc..) You can't just assume that everyone knows what you're talking about--or what the value add is of that particular idea.
And even if ELQ product managers do look through all of the ideas, like any developer, they do also need to see the value add as well.
Just my two cents...

cannect it to a computer and let it sync through iTunes. Contacts are a broad problem. You need to state where your contacts are located i.e. do you use yahoo mail? do you sync to iCloud? there are alot of answers for you problem but you need to be a little more detailed

Strange error when doing anything with yaourt

I have just installed yaourt from the AUR on my arch install (with LXDE, if that makes a difference) and whenever I do anything with it, it gives me the following error:
shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory
This will happen whenever I run any command to do with yaourt, such as:
yaourt -s virtualbox
Normally, I only get one error, and then the command continues as normal. It does not appear to be affecting yaourt in any way. However, if I run the command as root, with sudo, I get many errrors. This is the output from running "sudo yaourt -s virtualbox":

Hmmm... I haven't done anything, except maybe update the mirrors with pacman -Syy, and now the problem is gone. I don't know how I fixed it!

Force click not doing anything with long press

My force click preference to show definitions and other information is not working. I'm doing like the video shows, but apparently it isn't working. It works when i use the alternative 3 finger tap.

We are facing some performance issues in our database since past few days. The some of concurrent requests which use to finish in 10 mins are running for more than 2 hrs. There are no locks in database, and the request is not doing anything in database (Not generating any Undo). When we check at the db server, the database process associated with the request is not shown in top process report, so we realise that it is not doing anything on the server level as well.
What may be cause of the issue. How to identify why request is not doing anything. Does the server process gets disconnected from session. We have two node rac database.What is your OS and EBS? It was working before if answer yes what have u been changed on ur syste?(patch etc)
You have any error message on alert.log and also concurrent log?

Why is my phone shutting down when the battery is @ 94% doing anything with it? Is the recent upgrade a chance to get us to buy and Iphone 4?

My I phone 3ga 16gb shuts down when I open any app and surf any webpage unless plugged in to the charger. I have 94% battery and as long as I don't do anything with the phone except answer it when I get a call it will stay on. I recently upgraded it to the 4.3.5 os and was wondering if that is my problem? if it is how do I get it back to an older operating system?

Highly unlikely that 4.3.5 itself is the problem as there would be millions with the same problem... there are not.
Restore your 3GS from your backup. If still a problem, restore as new, i.e. without your backup. One of those will most likely solve your problem. If not, you may have a defective battery.

OnSessionEnd actually doing anything?!

i want to do something very simple: when session expires, automatically redirect to a login page.
onSessionEnd looks like the logical choice, but i wasn't able to make it do anything at all!
any example that can show this function can do stuff is welcome, i've tried a bunch of them already, nothing works.

Think through what you're suggesting.
A session times out after an inactivity people, so intrinsically doesn't (and can't!) happen as part of a request... because a request implies activity. To redirect a request... there needs to be a request being made. But there is no request being made when a session times out.
You cannot interact with the browser in onSessionEnd(), because onSessionEnd() isn't - by definition - connected to browser activity.
What you want to do is to redirect to the login page when the session starts, not when it ends. Intrinsically the request after a session has ended will start a new session... and the redirect to the login page.

Crazy lag / slow / when doing anything with text

CS6 on PC with 16 gig new ram and i7 and inDesign and Illustrator are both giving me lags. Especially on ID, when I try and use the type tool to select text it takes four to fifteen seconds for the top toolbar to turn over to text! WT*?

How many Fonts are currently installed on your PC? Are you using a Font management program? From InDesign preferences, set the Live Screen Drawing to "Never" which is inside the Interface panel. Turn the Preflight panel off by unchecking the On option within the Preflight panel. Within Preferences > File Handling panel uncheck the option "Always Save preview images with Documents". Disable Autocorrect if its on within the preferences. Within the Pages panel, go to Panel Options from the flyout menu and uncheck "Show Thumbnails". From the preferences > Display performance choose Fast display.

It shouldn't take anywhere near that, I'd try again, make sure you have a good connection.

Keynote quits when doing anything with Quicktime

If I open a file with quicktime files in it, or if I attempt to add a quicktime file to the Keynote presentation, it will undexpectedly quit.
Here is the beginning of the error message:

I have updated completely, ran disk permissions and trashed all iWork and Keynote preferences.
I have also found that this will happen in Pages too, same exact error message.

i too recently installed all available/current QuickTime updates and still experienced an instant system restart while viewing a quicktime video in Keynote.

Itunes won't open, update, install, uninstall, Windows DEP prevents me doing anything with itunes.

I have tried all the solutions on here so far, Windows Vista DEP stops itunes working and despite me being administrator I don't have the "privaleges" to remove programs and re-install!! Itunes wont install 10.5 but no error message pop up.

HT1338 My mac Mini shows full hard disk when it is not really full. Shows some free space upon start up that gradually disappears without doing anything with the Mac.

My Mac shows a full hard disk even though the disk is not full. There are several GB of unused space if I add the sizes of all the folders in the disk. Under the disk info window the free space shrinks to zero after a short period of time. It shows more space upon restart, but then it shrinks eventually to zero space available. is there a way to solve this?

My apple tv is saying its syncing but actually doing nothing

i have the apple tv with nothing on top of it and it resting on four empty shot glasses to create airflow. it shows up in itunes. everytime, in itunes when i hit "sync" button it says it cant see the apple tv, check my firewall (its in the most permissive settings (allow all incoming, os x 10.5.8), my airport extreme has no password and guest access allowed) then in about 5 seconds it sees it and starts saying its syncing but actually doing nothing. any ideas on what to do? i ran 50foot of cat-e cable, no difference hooking it up that way.
help? a boxee box would work but i REALLY want this solution. REALLY!!!!!!

It could be RF interference from their hearing aids or pacemakers.
Seriously, though, there could be RF interference from other sources, like other electronic equipment in your house or if there are any radio transmitters nearby. The only certain solution for ATV wifi problems is to use an Ethernet cable.
i can file transfer 22-26MBPS down and 3 up over the airport in other conditions (bandwidth speed meters). my airport extreme uses afp and FTP to transfer files blazingly fast, so fast it makes me blush. my apple tv. now. we do own a micro. it does get used every other day or so. could that be it? when not used on another floor it somehow interferes? my AV system a few feet away has an am and fm band capabilities on it although i do not think they have ever been used. on my airport extreme i have the "use interference robustness" box checked. i can sit next to my apple tv with my laptop an get great speeds.
so. i am still confused. could it just be the apple tv is telling me a new an improved one is coming out soon that i get to buy so i stop being an irritated jerk my wife hates using he tv with cuz my "apple tv toy" doesnt work right?

Redirect rule not doing anything

I have a rule in Mail that sends all emails from Macworld, Mac-Forums, and MacWeek to a folder (OK, a label in gmail parlance) and flags it "green" (so I can find them easliy and read them later). Problem is the rule is not doing anything. Ideas?

Actually, restarting the Mail program seemed to fix it.

I work for a retailer who sends out e-receipts as pdf attachements. When the email arrives on any apple product, i see the email with the paperclip icon showing that there is an attachment but i cannot ever see or find the actual attachment. Any ideas?

i have scrolled left, right, up and down on iphone4, iphone5 and ipad and the attachment simply does not exist. It has to be something with the apple mail client setup because for any mail client, if they go to the webemail thru safari, the attachment is there and it can be viewed without issue.
I know there are plenty of people out there with this issue with the mail clients set up that you access thru the email icon on the iphone and ipad but i cannot find anyone with a resolution. I cannot find any settings in the mail client setup that has anything to do with attachments or for what attachments can or cannot be read or seen.
Hopefully someone out there has figured something out because this is an odd one.
