IS Extension Manager compatible with Yosemite IMAC OS X 10.10,

I am still having problem with downloading Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I have disabled my firewall, turned off MACKEEPER,
I had it installed then iy kept crashing, customer support suggested I crated ANOTHER Administrator, which I did. Slowed my computer to a snail. Not to mention all my files are located in original admin. ( I am not a computer expert just a simple artist, who has the privdledge of a professional where I worked who kept my computer working. Just me now.
I am about to just cancel my subscription of Creative Suite, all I needed was Acrobat for Downloading and viewing PDF files, the site I had to use for whatever reason would only allow download using Licensed Acrobat??
Needless to say, I do hope I am using this forum correctly.
any advice thanks

According to you description, this issue is about Acrobat. It has nothing to do with Extension Manager. I suppose you will get better and quicker support at Acrobat.

This is pathetic verizon. What's going to happen come December 25th when thousands of people get new macs for Christmas and find out your service won't work??? Can you say AT&T?! Spend less money on those stupid commercials and fix this issue. I now can't buy a new computer for my business because your lazy IT department can't figure out how to make the two play nice? Sorry if this sounds harsh, but this is truly unacceptable for such a large company. We are talking about an Apple product here. A very popular common sold all over the world product and it's incompatible with one of your core offerings.
    Fix this please.

  • Is Windows 7 64-bit Compatible with This iMac late 2013 ?

Is Windows 7 64-bit compatible with this computer?
    Hardware and software:
    • Late 2013 iMac 27", 3.5 GHz I7, 32 GB memory, 1 TB hard drive Flash
    * 4GB Graphic Card
    • Mac OS 10.9.1
    • USB thumb drive 2.0 16GB
    • Boot Camp Assistant 5.1.0
    • Windows 7 64-bit install disk iso image
    Install steps:
    1. Use Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows 7 install (from iso image) and Apple Support Software (creates WININSTALL USB drive)
    2. Use Boot Camp Assistant to create Equal partition (500GB) on iMac internal drive and start Windows install
    3. Complete initial install steps until given option to select install partition
    4. Select 500 GB partition. Error message that partition is not formatted correctly. Use Advance Options to format (presumably to NTFS)
    5. Select 500 GB partition again and click "Next"
    6. Get error message "Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the Setup log files for more information."
    7. Install quits at this point
I'm wondering if Windows 7 and/or Boot Camp is compatible with this iMac. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
    Many thanks.

Hi, Indeed. I am selecting the Bootcamp partition, and If I do Format, It informs me that all we be deleted, ok fair enough. then I can click the NEXT button, but I got then a msg stating :
Setup was u nable to create a new system partion or locate an existing system partition. See the Setup Log Files for more informations.
I have not more option here, I can delete, then create a new one with same size then format again, but same message at the end. this is my issue.

Then the manager starts and I have to wait and click a few buttons until I can close it.

  • My 15" Macbook Pro running Yosemite keeps updating iMovie and iPhoto to one compatible with Yosemite the it updates again to the previous version that is not. Then it repeats itself.

My Macbook Pro keeps updating iPhoto and iMovie between the version compatible with Yosemite and the previous versions. It does it at least daily. Why doesn't the App store understand when those two programs have been updated?

I have had this problem for close to a year. I have an Extreme base station, two Airport Express's and multiple G4 Mac's with up to date software. I have spent a huge amount of time trouble shooting, resetting, reapplying software and finally calling Applecare without any help. It would be great to get this problem solved.

  • What PDA/Blackberry Should I purchase to be compatible with My iMac G5?

    Hi,
I need to buy a new cell phone b/c we are moving, and I think I'd like to try a Blackberry. Can I make it compatible with my iMac, or is there a PDA that you recommend that is better? Unfortunately I have to use Cingular, so I'm limited in my choices, I think.
    Thanks!

I purchased a Blackberry and I love it.

  • I need to install new Mac operating system Yosemite. Will Adobe CS5.5 still be compatible with Yosemite or will I have toupgrade all my Adobe products?

I need to install an upgrade to my mac - Yosemite.  Will my CS5.45 version of Adobe products be compatible with Yosemite or will I need to purchase and install upgrades to all the products?

Actually, the question is whether MacOS 10.10 is compatible with CS5.5, an existing application. Alas, when you are running MacOS, you pretty agree to an environment in which an OS upgrade may force application upgrades simply because Apple purposely does not maintain compatibility with existing applications. Sad, but true. Nothing that Adobe can do to get around this.
And more to your original point, Bob Levine is correct. It is not officially supported on MacOS 10.10 and even if you can coerce it to install and run at all, you will definitely have a compromised experience.

  • I would like to buy a flat bed scanner in the uk compatible with my iMAc 10.8.4

I would like to buy a flat bed scanner in the uk compatible with my iMAc 10.8.4. There seems to be a gap of information between Apple and say Epson on what drivers are suitable any Ideas?

If I look at a scanner from an online store and can't find whether it is Mac compatible there, I go to the manufacturer website and check for compatibility. Sometimes I'll find the Mac logo embedded in the scanner photo, other times I'll have to select the driver link and find if there's a download for the Mac OS I'm using.
So far every scanner I've ever bought (that wasn't years old on some fire sale table at Staples) has been Mac compatible. Of course sometimes when the OS is updated it takes time for the manufacturer to update the driver software (and sometimes it chooses not to) but since 10.8 has been out for almost a year the former isn't going to be a problem.
