My facetime and messages on ipad air running 7.1.2 are not working. Is anyone else having that problem?

If I understand correctly, they changed their email address and when you changed the contact in your FaceTime it still contacts the old address.
The old address may be what they have set as what FaceTime can reach them at.

On iOS devices, find out which addresses are enabled with FaceTime and iMessage by tapping:

Are you saying that when you receive an email that has a photo attached you cannot see it in the Msil app?
Try quitting the mail app and then reset the iPad.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

MMine has not been working ever since ios8 update. Apple blamed a game I have on the iPad, however this problem occurs on all apps including apple own brand.

FaceTime was by demand of the UAE government blocked in the iPad's hardware. As stedman said, there's no way you can activate FaceTime now.

I have a website that displays images in black on an ipad air - it didn't do this before I upgraded to iOS8. The same website works fine on an ipad 2 gen 4 and iphone 4 running iOS8 and the images show when I use other browsers on the ipad air. What is going on?

I got sick of these apps disappearing and finally gave in to doing a full delete all content and settings from phone - then restored from an iCloud backup and it fixed the issue. for now....

Handsoff not working between Ipad air 2 and Iphone 5.

I have Macbook pro retina 2013 , iphone 5 and Ipad air 2 all running latest OS. The handsoff feature between my Mac and Iphone is working perfectly but for some reason handsoff between my ipad and iphone or Mac not working at all. I have turned on handsoff feature in my ipad and bluetooth is also on. All devices is logged in with the same icloud account. Is anyboady having the same problem, is there any work around with this. Please let me know If anybody knows about it. Thanks.

I store things like PDFs in a DropBox account. They're then accessible from pretty much any device. On my iPad, I use PDF Expert for viewing and editing PDFs.

My shortcut list is working but after a reboot or a hardware reset it stops to work as due.
I have to edit my list adding and deleting one entry to get it working again.
I am in touch with one technician of Apple Care who will run some tests and will let me know.

Can't install iphoto for ipad on my ipad air running ios 7

On the ipad, I start App Store, search for iPhoto, and all I get is a bunch of auxilliary photo apps but no listing for Apple iPhoto. If I use safari on the iPad and go to apple.com, I can search for and find a page for iPhoto on the iPad, but there, the link to 'download iphoto' does nothing.

Issue with the on-screen keyboard in iPad Air running ios 7.1.2

The onscreen keyboard on my iPad Air (ios 7.1.2) disappears abruptly while typing in a text field. Each time I was typing in the Spot Light search field (or any text field for that matter) I took great care not to tap the area on my screen other than the keyboard just to be sure the keyboard doesn't disappear on its own. I've also tried the hard reset by pressing down the power and the home button simultaneously. These fixes were only temporary and the issue in question has been coming back rather intermittently. It is very annoying to keep swiping down to open the spotlight search field each time the keyboard vanishes for no apparent reason.

It is not a bug in iOS 7, as several hundred million people haven't commented on it. Reset: are you holding down both buttons until the Apple logo is displayed? If a reset doesn't fix it, try restoring the phone from the last backup. If that doesn't work, restore as a new device. If that doesn't work, take it to Apple.

Lightning to VGA adapter doesn't work with Ipad Air

I have a Lightning to VGA adapter that I want to use with my Ipad Air and pc screen. When I connect it with my Ipad and the screen, on my ipad the blue bar appears but I don't get anything on my pc screen. I dit the same with my iphone 6 and that works perfect. Any idea what the problem could be?
Both devices has IOS 8.3.

I have a similar problem to blueskoi. I have a lightning to HDMI Connector which no longer works on my iPad Air, however it still works fine on my wife's iPad 4.
The only difference I can find is that her iPad hasn't been updated to IOS 8.3, whereas my iPad Air has.
Is anybody else experiencing the same problem, or am I missing something?
I have done a full settings reset on my Air but that didn't resolve it. I get the blue bar at the top of the screen and my TV Screen flashes, but then no signal appears,
Any help would be most gratefully received.

Emojis stopped work on ipad air calendar?

I used to be able to use little emoji icons in my calendar on my iPad air without any problem... but recently if I try to add one, it shows up on the event for about 2 seconds then disappears.
what could be causing this? Has this ever happened to anyone before?
My software is up to date.. I don't see how the emojis could work for months before then suddenly stop working in calendar.

Camera no longer working on iPad air

Hi everyone
I switched my ipad air on and for some reason the camera doesn't appear to be working ?
When i open the camera app there is just a black screen. It allows me to swipe from video to photo, but nothing happens and i cannot press the picture button.
I have tried resetting the ipad, and closing all apps etc. I've only had it since Dec 13 so it's still under warranty...does this mean i need to take it to the apple shop i brought it from ?

Reset the iPad as follows (if you have not already):
Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
If that does not fix it, then yes, take it to the Apple shop.

Reset not working on iPad Air. I just bought this iPad Air from an individaual. It was listed as new and came with the box, charger, and guide. The seller said it was jail broken and I told him I did not want it jail broken and he said he would reset

He said he would reset it to factory and I said ok I would purchase it. He supposedly received it as a gift from his business and already had one. Well it all looks in new condition and powers up and down ok, and connected to WIFI when I checked it out at Starbucks. SIRI worked, Safari and the camers worked so I took it. Nothing was on the screen but standard app symbols you see on a new iPad. I compared it to a display at a store.
Well when I got it home I plugged it into my computer and it asked me to trust and I said yes ond on the Air it asked to ok it and I did. Then I tried to go to App store and it came up and asked for the password for a Apple ID. Of course I did not have it. I then tried to do a reset. I went to Settings and did a reset erase everything. It asked me twice if I wanted to reset as it was not recoverable. I said yes. It did not ask for and Apple ID or password. The Air reset started and the Apple logo came up and a bar started to move arcoss under it. It almost became a full bar when the screen went blank and the little small rotating symbol came up. It just kept rotating and never finished. Had to do a hard reset holding the Home and Sleep button for 10 seconds and the the Air came back. Everything is working on the Air except I can not get it to reset and link it up to my computer itunes.
It is on IOS 7.0.4
I hope I am not out my $475. Any help would be appreciated. Any options or suggestions.

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back. You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.
If the device has been jailbroken, no one on here can give you any further help...the Terms of Use prohibit us from doing so.
