  • Which is the lattest version of firefox available for win7?what are firefox aurora and firefox beta?

I just downloaded firefox aroura i.e, firefox 16 but when I tried to use it, it opens up a firefox 14 window that is the earlier browser I have!!

The latest release of Firefox for Win7 is 14.0.1
You may either be using a shortcut that is pointing to the Firefox 14.0.1 install or Firefox 14.0.1 was still running when you tried to start the Aurora build. The Betas are kind of close to that of the Release Candidates of before Firefox 4.0.
aurora: This is a new channel which has been introduced with the rapid-release scheme since Firefox 5.0; these builds reflect changes which also went into beta for the next release, thus making them available immediately, or which were deemed unsuitable for beta but safe for the following release (and, in general don't contain any string changes).
nightly: The nightly channel allows you to update to every nightly test build that is produced with latest code from mozilla-central. Which Fx 17.0a1 is currently on.
The Aurora and Nightly channels only get updates whenever there are checkins to the channel which is usually daily, especially with Nightly. These channels are not really meant to be used with one build for several weeks like a release build.
    There are for main channels
    Release = 14.0.1
    Beta = 15.0b5
    Aurora = 16.0a2
    Nightly = 17.0a1
    esr = extended-support releases, currently is 10.0.6esr
default = used by third-party or builds you built yourself for example.
The Aurora is not really meant for regular Firefox users as they should keep it as a separate install form 14.0.1 and use a separate Profile from 14.0.1. Also note that early next week the versions on the channels with move/merge to next channel as Firefox 15.0 will be out on Tuesday if all goes well. If you do test the Aurora builds, there will likely be no updates sent for a few days next week as the Aurora channel can sometimes be unstable for a while due to the common dash of dumping checkins on it at last minute.

  • Is Firefox available for Win7 64bit?

I have Firefox 2.0 running on a Windows 7 64bit OS. I am unable to update to the latest firefox version and therefore I am unable to open some personal account web pages. How do I solve this and remain with Firefox as I don't want to go back to Internet Explorer?

I'm on Firefox 22 and it says it's 32 bit.. what now?

  • Safari v5.0.2 for Win7 (64-bit) crashes with Kraken benchmark

my Safari v5.0.2 for Win7 (64-bit) keeps crashing whenever I try the Kraken JavaScript Benchmark http://krakenbenchmark.mozilla.com

Thank you for your response. Yes, you are right to suggest upgrade to 10.4 of course, but I've read stories of how it is slower, especially since I only have 256 MB on my iBook G4.
Sorry to say, but good news all the same for others in my situation, that the new browser Camino 1.6.4 is the best solution to this problem.
I installed Camino on my 10.3.9 and it works great, faster than Safari, better features, about the same feel and functionality, and completely stable with no crashes regardless of which web site I visit, keeping Javascript enabled. (I also tried FIrefox and it crashed on the same sites as Safari.)
So, all you users who still insist on their 10.3.9 OS, switch to Camino and experience crash-free browsing!

  • Drivers/Utilities CD..XP and VISTA..can I use vista for WIN7 64 bit install?

Drivers/Utilities CD's, that came with the p-35 Motherboard..XP and VISTA..can I use Vista for WIN7 64 bit install, or download the chip set drivers for Awin7 BEFORE the OS install??
    MSI P-35 Platinum
    Q6600 Core 2 Quad
    Presently XP 32Bit
    NVidia geforce 8600GT
    8GB DDR2 SDRAM PC6400-800MHz
    Windows 7..waiting to be installed.
    Hello,
I WANT TO DO A CLEAN INSTALL.I have Windows 32 Home XP, I have the Win7 OEM I want to install.
When i bought my MSI mobo, it came with both the drivers and utilities for XP and Vista.   Can I use the chip set drivers and utilities for Vista, until i can go to MSI and download the latest chip set drivers?  When do i install these drivers....before the OS install, or after?
Can I format these drives first, go in the BIOS change to boot sequence from Raptor Boot Drive to the DVD/Rom to boot the WIN7 from, or should I format while installing Win7?
Someone on another forum suggested that 1) disconnect the two droves, then install the OS on the boot drive, and2) before win7 install, make the proposed boot drive (NOT THE DVD/CD ROM the first choice priority for the boot sequence....is this right?
Is it absolutely necessary to unplug the other two drives, while formatting and installing the WIN7 O.S.?  People tell me that there is a chance of the OS installing sometimes on the other drives.
Also, if I want to change the now present boot drive Local disk letter (C) to my storage drive (G) and the other two drive letters, can I do this in manage disks, anytime, or only during windows setup install?
    Thx

I've never had this much trouble hooking up a HDD.
I have two IDE DVD/CD ROMS.  (My RAID MODE was IDE in XP OS, and still is with WIN7.)
           I have three SATA HDD's.
After unplugging the SATA 2TB HDD while I installed the WIN7 OS on the 500 GB HDD (it was on the 74 RAPTOR, but I moved location, and made absolutly sure nothing went on my raptor)
So today I decided to re-hook up the 2TB Storage HDD, and when I did, I went into bios, and to the cell menu, and LOAD ALL DEFAULT SETTINGS, so it could see my newly installed HDD,which I had all my backup Data from the previous HDD. I also checked and the RAID MODE was IDE, and the boot sequence was the WDC 500GB Boot/OS drive, rebooted, then I got that annoying blanked out screen with that blinking cursor, so I got back into the bios, and changed the 1st boot to the IDE Pioneer DVD/CD ROM, 2nd boot to the 500GB HDD, and rebooted again..still got that blinking cursor.
I opened up the Mobo, checked and replugged all SATA, and power cables to the three HDDS, tried it again, then still got the blinking cursor.  Seems no matter what I change in the boot sequence,it never wants to boot properly
    ....AND THEN,
I started with TAB > POST> started WINDOWS, then once it opened up, I went to manage Disks, saw all three HDDs were online and healthy.  Win. Explorer also listed them in that folder, in device manager, it listed all three too.
     The managed window showed this:
    74GB    (system,active,Primary partition)                       Storage
    2TB     (Primary partition)                                           Excessive Storage
500GB  (Boot, page files,crash-Dump, Primary partition)   Operating system
Both the PCI IDE BusMaster and ON-Chip SATA Controller were both ENABLED.
Before I just got online, I tried RESTART, and it opened Windows the usual way,  so I hope I don't have any more problems. It worked fine BEFORE I just plugged in the 2TB HDD back in.
I pretty much did what everyone suggested, except for leaving in the 74GB Raptor when I installed WIN7, which prompted me to format the drive prior to installing the OS.  Also, when I changed the IDE, RAID,and AHC1, to the AHC1 Mode, just before I installed Window7, like a few suggested, I also had problems, so after the install, I went back and changed it back to IDE.  My Floppy was an IDE, but I removed it from my system, and disabled in BIOS, but even a few times I went into Bios and saw that thje floppy was 1st Boot, even though I changed to either the DVD/CD Rom, or the 500GB boot drive.
So what is the preferred boot sequence?

  • Is Firefox available for use in a Citrix environmet, what are the licensing implications

Is Firefox available for use in a Citrix environmet, what are the licensing implications

Licensing is easy: the [http://www.mozilla.org/MPL/2.0/ Mozilla Public License] is free and open. Naturally, it contains the customary disclaimers and limitations.
Implementation might be more of a challenge because Firefox presumes certain things about the system.
I suggest joining the Enterprise Working Group Mailing List to connect with an audience of corporate implementers on this issue and search the list archives.

  • MSI GX640 VBIOS for Win7 64-bit?

Hey all, first-time poster here. Also I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum, but I wasn't really sure where to post this so I just followed the placement of similar threads I've found. Anyway, I've had my MSI GX640 for about a year now and I've enjoyed it quite a bit, but lately I've been BSODing out of some games. Anyway, so I'm looking to update my drivers, but the big one (i.e. for vga) needs VBIOS version BR35701.030. But all the download links I've found for it are dead, and the only other VBIOS I can find for the MSI GX640 is 1656_31, which won't work for Win7 64-bit. Are there any active download links left for VBIOS BR35701.030? I'd really appreciate some help here. Thanks in advance!

Thanks Svet! I'll work it now
UPDATE: So I followed the instructions and ran MemTest86+ (from a bootable CD because for some reason it wasn't auto-installing from the flasher tool). However, while it was running my system shut down unexpectedly. This happened at first while I was around halfway through the test, and then again when I retried; the second time, I'd barely gotten through 5%. At this time I noticed the laptop was generating quite a bit of heat so I let it sit for a while.
I've never run the test before, so is this normal? If not, what does that mean? My suspicion is (and has been for a while) that there's some problem with the laptop's internal hardware, though I'm not confident enough to try and tinker with it myself. I also got to thinking that was the case because whenever I BSOD'd playing games there was always an error in Event Viewer indicating a "critical thermal event" had occurred. So I just wanted to ask if that's so, or if there's some other explanation for what's occurring.
Of course I'll hold off on upgrading the VBIOS for now because I realize my system may not be stable enough at the moment. Thanks for the advice, everyone

  • Is iTunes 10.5 beta available for windows 32 bit and where is it found?

New to the developers site. Can someone tell me if iTunes 10.5  beta is available for Windows (32 Bit) and where it can be found for download? Thanks.

You're out in the public forums here, bryan. Best not to ask questions like that here ... it's a breach of your NDA. Try the developer forums instead?

  • Automatic Duplex Prinitng not available on Win7 64 bit for Photosmart c7280 printer

I have a Photosmart c7280 printer that I originally purchased for a WinXP PC.  I upgraded to a new Win7 64 bit PC and downloaded and installed (wireless) the full driver and was able to setup automatic two sided printing.  However, the printer would drop often and I have had to reinstall a number of times.  I have just reinstalled and am trying to setup an option for automatic two sided printing, but it is not an option.  I cannot set that option.  Is this missing from the Win7 driver or is there a setting I am not finding?

BarnDog, when you are are setting up your printer are you using the Printer Preferences in Devices and Printers to allow it to automatically duplex (there should be an option to allow that under "Advanced" settings).
Also, are you installing the printer from the PnP drivers that are in place when you plug the USB cord in or are you using the full feature software and drivers from the website (linked below)? If you don't have those drivers, I would recommend removing the USB cord and uinstaling the printer, then using the driver download and when prompted plugging the USB cord back in.

  • Oracle EBSuite 12i - Are the apps available for Windows 64 bit machine?

    Hello,
Can anyone help please? I am looking for Oracle EBSuite V 12i on eDelivery site. But the only Apps available for download is for Windows 32bit systems. Does anyone know if it is available for 64bit systems, given that most systems one buys now are 64bit machines? Based on the answer, i will either have to buy a new 32bit machine (if it is available) or get the downloads for 64bit systems. Please kindly let me know.
    Many thanks, Deepak

    1) Does one need to be a technical guru to install Oracle EBS R 12i on Windows? No.
    2) Do you have any documentation which takes this step by step for the non technical person?Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Microsoft Windows Server (32-bit) [ID 761567.1]
Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Installation Steps on Windows XP
Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Installation on Windows 2003
    3) I downloaded EBS zipped folders (approximately 30 to 40) from the eDelivery site. I will obviously have to unzip them and then run the exe files. My purpose in having R12i is purely for learning purposes, using the Visions database. Will I need to purchase any license for this, or after isntallation, I can start using the visions database? You can use it for the first 30 days for evaluation as mentioned in the e-Delivery website -- https://edelivery.oracle.com/
However, nothing would stop you from using the application after then -- The license is something ethical.
    Thanks,
    Hussein

  • Some performance counter objects are not available for a 32-bit process on 64-bit versions of Windows Server 2012 standard

When we try to gather performance counter information for a 32-bit process on a 64-bit computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2012, all our performance counter objects are not available with 32 bit perfmon application (C:\Windows\SysWOW64\perfmon.exe)
I didn't notified any errors while registering our counter objects or while running Perfmon.exe
Note: Same counter objects are available and working fine with Windows Server 2008 R2.
for diagnostic our counters on WIN2012, ran command as follows:
     cd c:\windows\sysWOW64
     lodctr /Q
I am able to see all our counter objects on response and infact all were shown as enabled, as shown below
Appreciate quiclk response with solution or clues to diagnose it more details.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sudhakar Rudra

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
I hope you understood our problem.
same our system counter objects (ver x), we able to browse from Perfmon 32 bit app on Windows 7, Windows 2008 R2 (64bit) OS but not on Windows 2012.
I am able to see all counter objects registered as follows (same at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\HMI Alarm Class\Performance,
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\HMI Alarm Class\Performance
    and
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HMI Alarm Class\Performance)
Only difference I observed that "Disable Performance Counters" were set to 4 in Windows 2012 OS unlike other windows 7 64bit OS and there is no differnece for remaining all entires.
I tried setting that "Disable Performance Counters" value to "0", but some how they get reset to "4", no luck..
I think "Disable Performance Counters" value either "0", or "4", should not matter for browsing our counters with 32bit bit perfmon applicaiton.
Do you see any issues of registry entries. ?
On what basis perfomance monitor list few enabled counters?
How can we add our counters manually to perfomance monitor?

I have not installed Firefox. Thinking about it and it sounds good until I see all the problems people are having with crashing and connecting etc. That is why I want to know if an older version is available for download. I would feel more comfortable.
Also if do install, want to be able to read / write Russian language but not lose English as the primary language by default. Is this possible?

You can install additional language packs.

  • Is the Oracle database 11.1.0.7  patch available for linux 64 bit

I only Microsoft downloads for this patch - does this mean we have to go to 11.2. Thanks for the input!

It is the same patch number.
I see it as available for Linux x86-64, Linux x86, Windows 32bit and WIndows 64 bit.
Perhaps you want to install the new OCM for Oracle Support - it should help you get those patches without searching. ;-)
