No, I wouldn't know as I was iMessaging with a couple of friends shortly before I replied to you and then again just after. It continues to work fine for me. In fact, I rarely have a problem with it.
I already figured out that "iMessages don't go through". Are you getting an error message? If so, what? Do you have a good data connection? Does the person you're trying to message have a good data connection? What troubleshooting steps have you already take?

First, make sure that all your devices are using the same Apple ID in iMessages including your Mac. Second, your messages that you've already started on your devices will not show up on your Mac - only ones that you start from now on will show up. Third, if you're still not syncing accross all devices, make sure you read the directions on the first page of this thread. It should work after performing those steps. Good luck!

Is AppleCare going to be available for the iPhone 5?
Title basically explains everything. I contacted Bestbuy to see if they knew but all they said is they know they're going to offer their warranty which is almost $300 for 2 years. So, I was wondering if AppleCare+ was going to be available for the iPhone 5 at the price it was offered for the 4S? ($100 for lifetime) Or would it be more?

I opened my iPod Touch up to fix my home button. When i closed it back up it had a white screen. I tried pressing lock and home button for 10 seconds and it worked but while i'm using it it goes white with lines on the screen. Help please. This has been happening for a while and i've tried everything but it doesn't work.

Hi guys, I have a problem with imessage. My iphone 4S is factory unlocked and i have been using t-mobile carrier. i tried settings - messages - imessage on but there is this 'waiting for activation' thing. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Please upgrade your plan to Web n Walk plus. One of our users on T-Mobile UK had this to report back to us:
T-Mobile UK are in fact port blocking to ensure fair usage on their base Web and Walk Plan. I have upgraded to Web and Walk Plus and as a result the port blocks are lifted and I get a higher data allowance!

Has anyone found any glow-in-the-dark earbuds (with mic) for the iPhone? I'm looking for some that glow or light up so they can be seen when I walk in the dark.
In a roaming network, your "main" router is the device that would require port mapping/forwarding to be configured in order to access the IP camera from the Internet. This router is also the one that would be provide the private IP address for the camera which you will want to be a static one.
So as you described your network, the IP cameras should be getting an IP address or you assigned it a static one and this is the address that you would enter in the Private IP address (or equivalent depending on the router used) field when setting up port mapping.
If you are not able to access this camera from the local network, then this should be troubleshot first. -

No. You have to use an email address. You can use your Apple ID email address and you can also add other email addresses. To add go to Settings>Messages and add the email address to the the Receive At location.

IMessage on the iPhone 6 doesn't allow me to sign in with my current email
Hey guys,
So here's the problem - I can send and receive texts/iMessages on my iPhone 6. I cannot, however, hook up my macbook pro to the same account to use the messaging service with, as Apple has said would be possible (answer texts on my macbook pro via the Messages app).
I'm trying to add my AppleID/iCloud user account (email and pw are now the same, after all my troubleshooting to make things easier) on my iPhone in Settings->Messages->Send & Receive->Add An Email. All I have that shows up is my phone number, but when I tap "Add An Email," one screen pops up for a split second (picture 1) with my current email address, as if it'll let me log in, and then it immediately disappears- followed by a pop up box which only allows me to log in with my old email address. How do I get the pop up box to either show my current email address or not pop up in the first place, so I can log in? (I don't know how I got the screengrab for picture 1.. it disappears in less than a second.)
Again, I can message/text on my phone perfectly well, but I cannot connect it to my Messages app on my macbook pro, in order to answer people's messages from there. I've tried logging in and out of all the various services and switching the email account back to my old one (which worked for iMessage, but then I couldn't use the App Store with that old email address- so choosing the lesser of two evils, I reverted to my current email address and the problem at hand returned).
Now I've called Apple support and I'm waiting on them to call me back with a security code they may or may not have, which they apparently sent out to some users to let them use iMessage. I'm supposed to somehow use this code to get this all working...if they have the code. Which they, themselves sent me. Which is apparently more secure than a fingerprint.
I'm having my doubts about them, so I'm looking here for help.
Hope you guys could follow that and thanks in advance...Actually, I was very fortunate to have had this issue resolved. I restarted my computer and tried again and this time, for some reason, Adobe accepted my credentials and allowed me to sign in.
