Is HDMI cable the only way to show Powerpoint on a separate monitor?

My wife loves how the playbook can lock the primary screen while she works a powerpoint presentation, but her work does not have HDMI monitors. Is there a way to use this function with monitors that don't have HDMI connectors? Can this be used wirelessly?
Solved!
Go to Solution.

There are nifty little devices that convert the PlayBook's microHDMI to VGA, and likely DVI output, they are easily found on ebay, but this doesn't offer wireless option. Belkin had a cool wireless HDMI devices, but they would not accomodate a true wireless solution (yet). I suspect this sort of solution is not far off.
If you search on ebay for 'micro HDMI to VGA' you'll find many devices, like this one: http://bit.ly/N2U6HW
I use one of these with a VGA cable to connect to a projector or monitor.
