Is Header necessary to pass while calling a webservice ?
Hi all,
I am calling a webservice which has 1 input parameter.
My question is, 'Is it mandatory to pass header information while calling the webservice',
while testing ?
I got this question because, I tried calling the webservice, but got an error as,
'CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_DATE_TIME:XSLT exception'. But I am not passing any
DateTime field.
Further my webservice is located in a .NET system and I am trying to consume it from SAP.
Please advice.
Any links for the same will be of Gr8 help.
Thanks.
Yats.
Hi Venu,
DateTime is not as an input.
I have only 1 input parameter and that is a string.
Thanks.
Yats.

Hi Experts,
We are getting exception while calling PI webservice from EJB which is deployed in CE 7.2. Earlier we used to call the same webservice but from different PI system at that it worked fine. Now we have changed the consumer proxies required in CE and tried to call from CE and it is throwing error. We have checked usernames and passwords that we are using to call the service and that is working fine. PI team tested from their side and li is also fine. We have also restarted the CE system but invain. Can somebody help on this. The below is the trace that we got.

this looks like if the server is not reachable. Have you checked if both server are able to communicate? Maybe firewall rules block the request.

Firewall Setting NoRouteToHostException while calling secured webservice
Hi All,
I tried calling a secured webservice from oracle database. While calling the webservice i am getting the NoRouteToHostException exception. The possible cause for this exception is
"Signals that an error occurred while attempting to connect a socket to a remote address and port. Typically, the remote host cannot be reached because of an intervening firewall, or if an intermediate router is down. "
I found the ipaddress is correct.
I would like to know the cause "intervening firewall". Will any port has to be enable in oracle database to call secured webservice from the Database or where to check in the database for firewall setting
Thanks,
Ramesh.RRamesh_R wrote:

HTTPS protocol in other words?
While calling the webservice i am getting the NoRouteToHostException exception. The possible cause for this exception is "Signals that an error occurred while attempting to connect a socket to a remote address and port. Typically, the remote host cannot be reached because of an intervening firewall, or if an intermediate router is down. "Not an Oracle issue and not really relevant to this forum (or any other forum on OTN I think). This is a straightforward network issue dealing with routing tables it seems to me.
The error simply means that the application (PL/SQL in Oracle server when using UTL_HTTP) references an IP address that does not exist locally (different subnet/netmask) and that the IP packets need to be routed (via an "+intermediary+") in order to reach that IP address.
I would like to know the cause "intervening firewall". Will any port has to be enable in oracle database to call secured webservice from the Database or where to check in the database for firewall settingYou should look at the local routing table on the server. For example, your server is IP address +196.1.83.100+ and you need to reach IP address +165.147.45.30+.
The server's IP stack needs to know where to send traffic for +165.147.45.30+ to? Which interface on the server to use (there can be multiple)? What is the address of the router that will route the traffic to this IP?
Let's say we use the primary (first) interface and that the routing is done by +196.43.4.1+. The server's routing table on the should then look something as follows:
oracle@myserver ~> route -n
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
165.147.45.30 196.43.4.1 255.255.255.255 UGH 0 0 0 eth0
.. remaining entries..The "+route add+" command is used to add such a route to the routing table.
I suggest however that you discuss this first with the o/s or network administrator to ensure that the routing table is not only correctly updated, but that the server is configured to create this route automatically at boot time. -
Hi All,
we are calling sharepoint webservice from our web application but we are getting below error while calling webservice.
Server was unable to process request. ---> Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
Our code is as below.
We used below 2 options but we got same error for both scenario,
1)
ListService.Lists objLists = new ListService.Lists();
NetworkCredential objNetworkCredential = new NetworkCredential("username", "password");
objLists.Credentials = objNetworkCredential;
System.Xml.XmlNode objXmlNode = objLists.GetListItems("Tasks", null, null, null, null, null, null);
2) ListService.Lists objLists = new ListService.Lists();
objLists.Proxy = new WebProxy("proxyaddress",true);
NetworkCredential objNetworkCredential = new NetworkCredential("username", "password");
objLists.Credentials = objNetworkCredential;
System.Xml.XmlNode objXmlNode = objLists.GetListItems("Tasks", null, null, null, null, null, null);
Please help me what is the problem while calling this service.
Thanks in advance.

Problem while calling a Webservice from a Stand alone java program
Hello Everyone,
I am using a java program to call a webservice as follows. For this I have generated the client proxy definition for Stand alone proxy using NWDS.
Now when I call the method of the webservice I am getting the correct result but along with the result I am getting one error and one warning message in the output.
The java code to call the webservice is as follows.
public class ZMATRDESCProxyClient {
public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
Z_MATRDESC_WSDService ws = new Z_MATRDESC_WSDServiceImpl();
Z_MATRDESC_WSD port = (Z_MATRDESC_WSD)ws.getLogicalPort("Z_MATRDESC_WSDSoapBinding",Z_MATRDESC_WSD.class);
String res = port.zXiTestGetMatrDesc("ABCD134");
System.out.print(res);
The result I am getting is :
Warning ! Protocol Implementation [com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.wsdl2java.features.builtin.MessageIdProtocol] could not be loaded (NoClassDefFoundError) !
Error Message is :com/sap/guid/GUIDGeneratorFactory
<b>Material Not Found</b> -
> This is the output of webservice method and it is right.
Can any one please let me know why I am getting the warning and error message and how can I fix this.
Thanks
AbinashHi Abinash,
I have the same problem. Have you solve that problem?
I am using a java program to call a webservice too. And I have generated the client proxy definition for Stand alone proxy using NWDS. When I call the method of the webservice I am getting the correct result but along with the result I am getting one error and one warning message in the output.
The java code to call the webservice is as follows.
MIDadosPessoaisSyncService service = new MIDadosPessoaisSyncServiceImpl();
MIDadosPessoaisSync port = service.getLogicalPort("MIDadosPessoaisSyncPort");
port._setProperty("javax.xml.rpc.security.auth.username","xpto");
port._setProperty("javax.xml.rpc.security.auth.password","xpto");
String out = port.MIDadosPessoaisSync("xpto", "xpto");
System.out.println(out);
The result I am getting is :
Warning ! Protocol Implementation [com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.wsdl2java.features.builtin.MessageIdProtocol] could not be loaded (NoClassDefFoundError) !
Error Message is :com/sap/guid/GUIDGeneratorFactory
<b>The result of the WS is correct!!!</b>
The Java project does not have any warning. But the stand alone proxy project has following warnings associated with it.
This method has a constructor name MIDadosPessoaisSync.java
The import javax.xml.rpc.holders is never used MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java
The import javax.xml.rpc.encoding is never used MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java
The constructor BaseRuntimeException(ResourceAccessor, String, Throwable) is deprecated MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java
It is very similar with your problem, could you help me?
Thanks

Problems while calling the webservice published at XI end
Hi ,
I have published a webservice at the XI end and to test it I am calling the webservice from xmlspy .
I do get the popup for username and password in the xmlspy for the adapter but it fails to send the data to the webservice .
I even checked the SOAP adapter status in the RWB and its grey. and the installed and started option of adapter monitoring the soap adapter is not shown .
Can anyone through some light as to what can be the reason behind this .
is it the problem with the adapter or the webservice
Thanks
NikhilHI Ricardo ,
I have tried that but still I am getting the below error.

SatyaHello Satya,
Please have a look at [this Wiki|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=22375]. It might help.
I hope this helps.

I have the following situation --
1. I have two WebServices A and B deployed onto OC4J_10.1.3
They both work when I test them using the test service
2. My real need is to call webservice A from B. So I created a proxy for A using JDEV
and deployed into OC4J. Now when I use the test service and call methods on B as before it does not work. I get the following exceptions when I try to instantiate the stub.
WebServiceASoapHttpPortClient myPort = new WebServiceASoapHttpPortClient();
SEVERE: caught exception while handling request: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: oracle.j2ee.ws.common.encoding.literal.LiteralFragmentSerializer.<init>(Ljavax/xml

ng;Z)V
It seems as though OC4J is not able to find LiteralFragmentSerializer methods. But wsclient.jar must be available on OC4J's CLASSPATH.
My webservice is very simple and the encoding is SOAP1.1 (Document/Literal).
Any insights ?
Thanks very much.
--venkatHave you tried downloading and installing wsclient_extended.jar instead of wsclient.jar?

Iam getting the following error when I make a method call of that generated proxy.
SOAP:1.026 SRT: HTTP-Code 500: ("Internal Server Error").
Does anybody has any idea why is this happening?
Thank You,
Suresh.Hi Sridhar,
It is active and it was working fine. It suddendly started giving this error. Do you think if there is any possibility that there would be something wrong in the system where webservice is lying?
Thank You,
Suresh. -
Error while calling external webservice.
Hi
I am trying to call an external web service but getting following error.
exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Bad response: 503 Service Unavailable
I am using SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 and trying to call this service from BPEL.
This service is not a secured service and we are able to call it using SoapUI tool and by simple java code also.
We are able to ping this service from SOA server too.
What might be the issue?Any settings required at soa server?
Any thoughts
Thanks
VibhorHi
Finally I got the issue fixed.
Our soa server is using a proxy for outbound interactions, so just added external service Ip in exception and its working now.
Thanks

Edited by: user13514455 on Jun 13, 2011 8:35 AMWe resolved this problem for the same version of JDeveloper in the WebLogic Console. In the Domain Structure / Evironment / Servers / Settings for Default Server, click the Configuration and SSL tabs. Then change Hostname Verification to None and check the Use JSSE SSL box at the bottom.
