Is high availabilty available with B1 ?

Hi,
We've got users based around the world who connect to B1 at our UK base. I cannot provide 24 hour support in case of system downtime so I'm interested to find out what sort of options are available to provide High Availabilty/Redundancy to our SAP installation?
Thanks

Hi,
Its normal to have a system down but you can make prevent or minimize this situation.
1. In your SQL Server you could try to use the RAID.
2. Frequent backup of the database.
3. You may use SQL SERVER distributed function. This is using 2 or more SQL Server but
    using 1 database.
4. Daily monitoring.
5. A spare or extra computer that have already SQL Server installed and ready to attached
    or restore the recovered database.
6. Separate the APPLICATION to DATABASE Server,
Hope it will help.
THanks.

Unless you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did enable it then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
If it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.
If it was never registered to your account then it won't appear on your support profile : https://supportprofile.apple.com/
The only other ways to find it that I know of (apart from on the actual device) are via the packaging, the backup on a computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4061

  • Producing cubes in high view point with PRC

    Hello,
I'm a latex user and I also use the Asymptote external program to make my 3d solids. I can produce pdf files using PRC features : I can move my solids by turning, rotating them ...
I'd like to use high view point representation for my solids in my pdf files: lines which are behind and represented with dotted lines. If I rotate my cube, lines which were behind are now in front of the picture and must be represented with continuous line and inversely. Is it possible to have it done automatically by PRC ? I don't know how.
Maybe such a feature is not available with PRC.

I think the topic poster wants hidden lines of the object be represented by dotted lines, while the visible ones are solid. This seems to be a question of the render mode in which the object is drawn by the Reader.
He might try the render modes that Reader offers and see if one of them suits his needs (`TransparentWireframe' seems to come closest), either by setting them trough the `3Drender' option of \includemovie in the LaTeX source, or by selecting them through the context menu of the 3D area in the Reader.

  • PRIME LMS 4.2 + High Availabilty

    Hi all,
Does LMS 4.2 support Microsoft cluster solution for High Availabilty ?
I understand from Cisco Documentations that they use Veritas Cluster solution as well as Vmware Vmotion/HA for high available configuration of LMS.
But i would like to know if we can achieve this using Microsoft Cluster and if then, can some please share any documents/details pertaining to same ?
    Sankar

Besides the supported Veritas method, the second best solution would be to snapshot your VM regularly and practice restore from that. A Microsoft Cluster solution would be an unsupported kludge.
You could also perform a system (application level) backup on a regular basis and restore from that.

  • Always ON High Availabilty

    Hi Everyone,
In AlwaysOn HighAvailabilty if any problem or disaster will happen in Primary Server. It got failover to sencondary replica.
But in the secondary replica we have give read option only. Not write option. Then how to if we want write anything in the       DB.
    Thanks Everyone,
    RamKarthik

    Hey RamKarthik,
There are a number of options related DR (disaster recovery), you should read more link below:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822400
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms179344(v=sql.105).aspx
If you choose for example the following type,
it requires three servers but will give you a good answer and safe.
first server is active, MIRROR second and third listen the first 2 server (witness)
so the transition will be automatic and smooth.
    High-Safety Mode with Automatic Failover
Automatic failover provides high availability by ensuring that the database is still served after the loss of one server. Automatic failover requires that the session possess a third server
instance, the witness, which ideally resides on a third computer. The following figure shows the configuration of a high-safety mode session that supports automatic failover.

  • ...notifications are a paid only feature, they are not available with a free account...

    Hi Support-Team,
is there a chance to change this:
"... notifications are a paid only feature, they are not available with a free account ..."
If we can't send a notification to an other user FormsCentral doesn't make sence and will cancel the account... That would be a pity, because otherwise everything would work very well.
    Kind regards
    Andreas

    Hi;
Thanks for your feedback, but notifications are a paid feature and are not available in a free account.  That isn't likely to change.  Hopefully there is enough value in this and the other features of a paid account for you to consider an upgrade.
    Thanks,
    Josh

    Hello,
Is the function module remote enabled? Check the attributes of the function module, see
    [remote enabled function module|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/EN/22/0425f2488911d189490000e829fbbd/frameset.htm]
Next step to figure out this problem will be calling the function module remote and debugging it, see...

  • [SOLVED] Can't boot from LUKS - No key available with this passphrase

    The problem
Latest kbd package responsible for your keyboard layout may break some LUKS installs depending on the password used, as there are some keymaps which are broken, resulting in the user not being able to enter the password correctly.
    Relevant bug report: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/36689
    The fix
Find an old live image with the old kbd package (I had success with 2012.11.01)
    Boot the image
Change to your preferred keymap using
    loadkeys
    Open your encrypted device with
    cryptsetup luksOpen /path/to/device devicename
Mount the device and any other relevant mount points (such as /boot) and perform a chroot with
    arch-chroot
Revert the kbd package. The latest working version is 1.15.5-4. If you didn't clean your cache, you should have a working version under
    /var/cache/pacman/pkg
If not, either try finding the package manually, or build it using ABS.
Once the package is installed, confirm the keymap works by running loadkeys again and entering any keys that may have been problematic.
While still under chroot, rebuild the initramfs with
    mkinitcpio -p linux
If this goes without any problems, you should be able to reboot to a working system.
Ever since I updated my system about a week ago, I cannot boot it anymore.
The root filesystem encrypted and since the update, I can't unlock it on boot anymore. Typing in my passphrase, I get the error No key available with this passphrase.
One thing that comes to mind is that the passphrase contains non-standard characters (Š for example), and I'm not sure if that's what might be causing problems?
Any ideas or tips on how can I debug this?
Another thing I've noticed is that if I drop into a recovery shell, the special characters on my keyboard aren't properly mapped. Š will print out C and it's hexdump seems invalid.
    Edit:
    Just noticed this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=148562
Will try to unlock it from a live distro. It doesn't seem to want to unlock with Arch live as the keymap seems wrong there as well.

  • Why isn't iphone 5 available on the Irish site? And why is 4s only available with 8GB?

I was searching for an iphone 5 on the Irish apple store and it doesn't seem to be for sale. I was also looking at the 4s and it only seems to be available with 8GB ,why is that also?

An iPhone 4s with only 8GB is cheaper for Apple to manufacture. "The idea is to put some distance between the iPhone 4S and Apple's new 'budget' iPhone, the iPhone 5C." ...From this article:
Remember the iPhone 4S? Apple makes it an 8GB freebie

I am trying to find an old mac font.  It's the techno (apple) font that was available with OS 9.  How can I get this font?

I think that was Tecno. Techno appears to be a whole class of fonts.
    Is this the one? http://www.dafont.com/tecno.font
That's a .ttf version which should work OK with current OS.
As an aside, I was searching for Apple Textile for quite some time when it was pointed out to me that it was used by iDVD. Sure enough, opened up the installer package for iDVD with Pacifist and there it was. Now working fine on all my Macs!
