Is HP Laserjet 1022N eprint enabled?

Is the HP Laserjet 1022n printer eprint enabled? Is there a nice list of HP printers that are?

Hi,
The HP Laserjet 1022 does not support cloud services as ePrint.
You may find any supported printer for ePrint in the following document:

  • 'Laserjet 1022n Windows Update' causing printing problems: print jobs don't stop printing

    Hello,
a few days ago, I installed the Laserjet 1022n Windows Update on my Windows 7 64 bits and since then, I can't print a page normally: the page doesn't stop printing. I am using a network port with TCP/IP.
I made several trials to solve this problem:
    - uninstall the printer driver and installing it again (I tried the last version on the HP site and an older one that worked perfectly before)
    - update the firmware of the printer to the last version on the HP site.
When I pause the printer and start the print job, you see it arriving in the list. Resuming the printer, the print starts on the printer but you see that the job stays in the list, flashing again and again. The printer keeps printing the same page.
I don't know what I can do to solve this problem. There is no mean of uninstalling the HP Laserjet 1022n software update because it doesn't appear in the list of installed programs (well on the list of the done updates by the way op windows updates).
I have the same problem printing on the same printer from another Windows  7 PC (with the same windows update done)
But I have no problem printing with my laptop on another network printers.
Is there someone having the same problem and how to solve it ?
    Thanks for answering

I found the solution on this site : http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/59912-29-1022n-printer-stop-printing
You just have to uncheck the chekbox "Enable two-way communication" on the "Ports" tab of the printer properties and it works normally again !!!!

  • Print to your HP ePrint enabled printer from wherever life or work takes you

HP ePrint enabled printers allow for mobile printing and offer these key benefits:
    • Print from anywhere to your web-connected printer by sending an email to your printer's email address.1
    • With wireless direct printing, you can simply walk up and print from your mobile device by directly connecting to your printer (similar to a Bluetooth® connection).
    • HP printers support embedded print from your mobile device—no need to download an app to print (examples include Apple® AirPrintTM and Windows® 8 tablets).
Now your printer can take advantage of mobile printing—it’s easy!
You may need to download a firmware upgrade. Follow these simple steps:
    1. Go to hp.com/go/ePrint.
    2. Select your printer from the dropdown menu.
    3. Click Windows or Mac to download a firmware executable file.
    4. Launch the .exe file and then follow the on-screen instructions.
    5. To customize your email account, go to HPePrintCenter.com.
There's simply no substitute for the outstanding value, exceptional quality and proven reliability of Original HP toner cartridges.
You can purchase HP Original toner cartridges directly from HP or from Authorized HP Dealers/Resellers.

The DHCP range is the range of IP addresses the router hands out automatically as devices join the network.  The DHCP range is determined by the router and each brand has a range set at the factory (that can be changed by you).
Your D-link's DHCP default range is 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199.  So, outside the DHCP range is .2 to .99 and .200 to .254.
Attached is a handy cheat sheet.
You can change this range by entering the router's settings page - type the router's IP address into a browser, enter the login info and navigate to the DHCP settings area (varies based on router, hunt around).

  • I purchased a MacPro 2010 and is having trouble to add HP LaserJet 1022n to my printer list.

    Dear Administrator,
I purchased a Mac Pro 2010.  I migrated from my MacBook Pro to Mac Pro.  Then, the HP LaserJet 1022n won't print.  I reseted printing system and now can't add that printer to my printer list.  Software Update have installed HP Printer Driver v. 2.16.1 on my system.  The printer is actually available in HP Printer Driver 1.1.1 update.  But, no matter how I do it, it always complained that the Driver software is currently unavailable and ask me to install it later.  I have downloaded the HP Printer Driver 1.1.1 update manually, but it won't install and showed my Macintosh HD as not a valid install target.  I tried to install the driver CD that came with the printer, but it complained that a newer version of the driver has been installed on the SSD hard drive.  Please help.
My guess is that the HP Printer Driver 1.1.1 update is on the system but is corrupt, that is why the Add Printer command can't simply pick up the driver on the computer.  Other method also break down since they think I already have the driver installed.  I think that I needed to uninstall the HP Printer Driver 1.1.1 update to correct the system.  That is just my hunch.
Please advice.  Thank you very much for your time and effort in this matter.
    Sincerely yours,
    Zigang

Have you tried un-installing the original (complete) software and re-installing it?
Usually that does the trick. After that you can try the update if necessary.

  • HP Laserjet 1022n & Windows 7 64-bit & spooling

My home network has three desktop computers, one laptop and one tablet. Two of the desktops, plus the tablet are all running Windows 8.1. The laptop is running Windows 7 64-bit Professional, while the third desktop is running Windows 7 64-bit Home. All of the computers use the network to connect to the Laserjet 1022n printer that is also connected to the network (hard-lined). The Laserjet does have the latest Firmware installed onto the printer. All three of the devices that are using Windows 8.1 are able to connect and print fine from the printer, however it is the two Windows 7 computers that are having issues with the printer.
The problem is that the spooling is not resetting once a print job has been sent. The print job will continuously print the print job indefinetly unless I go into the "c:\Windows\System32\spool\Printers\" folder and manually clear out the spool. I have downloaded both the Full HP software as well as the basic driver for the Laserjet onto both Windows 7 computers. I have tried running the repair feature and as well as just using the basic driver to add the printer. Nothing seems to be working correctly.
The ONLY way for me to get the printer to work is to use one of the Windows 8.1 computers as a middle-man; connecting to that computer and sending the print job through that computer. Only issue is that it takes forever to spool the print job to the Windows 8.1 computer before it can start printing. These are fairly new computers; both purchased in the last year. Both have 4 Gigs of RAM so that is not the reason. So I am not sure what is going on.
None of the computers are directly cabled to the printer and the main Windows 7 computer that I really need to have working with the laserjet is on the opposite side of the house (the Windows 7 laptop does not use the print feature that much,  so it is not AS critical).
Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Forums Hinalover,
I see by your post that you are having issues with the print spooler on the Windows 7 computers.
I can help you with this issue.
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
Try running the Microsoft Fix It Tool to see if it will fix the print spooler.
Diagnose and repair Windows File and Folder Problems automatically.
You can also run the System File Checker to repair corrupted or missing files.
System File Checker: Run sfc /scannow & analyze its logs in Windows 7 | 8.
You might end up having to do a repair of Windows.
Please let me know the results.
    Have a nice day!

  • Connecting HP LaserJet 1022n

Can someone help me connect my HP LaserJet 1022n to my E2500?  Note: not "HP LJ 1022nw" which is wireless version.
Printer was attached to my old Linksys Wireles-G router.  Printer has a USB connection and an ethernet cable port.  Wth the old router I simply connected the printer via ethernet cable and made sure I entered the IP address when adding the printer to my old Windows XP Pro system.
I went through Linksys installation process and added the printer as a wireless printer.  I now receive an error message "cannot print .... etc." but the 1 page print job is printed over and over many times.  I do not receive the error message or eroneous results when I attach the printer directly to my laptop via USB.  I'm not even sure if I'm receiving the message from Win8 or Linksys.  I am new to Win8.
Any ideas on how I should proceed?

Make sure the cords are properly connected. Reset your printer to factory defaults. If it is just wired to the router, it would automatically get an IP address from the router. Reserve the printer’s IP address and then setup IP printing on the computer. On Windows 8, just search for Devices and Printers and add the printer. Follow the link below for detailed instructions. The link below shows instructions for Windows 7 which is just going to be the same with Windows 8.

  • HP laserJet 1022n How can I change IP adress?

HP laserJet 1022n How can I change IP adress?

It is advisable to set a static IP address for the printer:
    - Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
    - Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
    - Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
    - On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') to 250
    - Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
    - Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway.
    - Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS.
    - Click 'Apply'.
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.
After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.

I think the best bet now is to do a fw update on the printer.   You will need to connect to the printer via a USB cable to do the update since your network connection is not working correctly.   Here is a link to the fw update.
That should bring your printer up to date and/or clear the issue.  Give it a try.

  • Sudden onset issue with eprint & enabling any app or web services

    Hello everyone,
I have a case in with HP, and have spent 4+ hours on the phone with the eprint support folks and the corporate support folks. Unfortunately they are now gone for the weekend, and I am still stuck here with a nonfunctioning system - and need to leave this weekend on business (need a functioning business printer!)
I am hoping someone here can help.
    I have a x576dw MFP
Connected hardwired to a Netgear router
Worked great with eprint services (configured and printing daily) for 1+ month
11pm last night I sent several jobs to the printer and noticed today they weren't there. I checked the printers web print server, and found that the IP settings had not changed (of course) from when it worked the day before. The same IP, same DNS, same default gateway etc.
I ran through all of the scenarios/fixes I could find online, from changing to wireless and testing, changing to wired and testing with DHCP, changing to wired & testing with static but a different IP outside of the DHCP range, changing the router that the printer sits on (I have 3 routers), changing the link config, changing the primary and secondary DNS to only be the two Google addresses (8.8 and 4.4), etc etc etc.
ePrint ran through (frustratingly) exactly the same steps with me and decided it was a printer issue. They handed me off to the corporate guys who (of course) wanted to do yet exactly those same steps. I did just to get through it.. (note I can print fine on the LAN from all routers), and at the end the support tech told me to try a restore to defaults and start over again.
Did that (gr) - same error. When I go to even enable eprint or apps it says "Web Services could not be enabled." I get the same error on the web interface for the printer.
Help! Im at a total loss here and HP wants to blame the eprint team, the eprint team wants to blame corporate solutiosn HP!
(Other notes.. I did check firmware, it's up to date. I did check web software, also up to date)
    Frustrated tired business chick!

  • Change owner of HP eprint enabled printer

I was forced to change my Google account name (it was an old account) when I signed up for Google  for Education. The old account was deleted and this was the account that was associated with my HP e printer. I cannot access the printer via a Chromebook now. I see "account was deleted and no longer recoverable" when I try to sign in with the old account
I see the owner of the printer on the HPConnected site is the account that was deleted. I need to be able to delete the owner of the printer  and use my new account for ownership.

    Hi @nanielee,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  I understand that your HP printer was added to an old Google account that has been deleted.
To reclaim the printer you will need to disable then re-enable the web services on the printer.  You will need to setup ePrint again.  If the printer had a customized ePrint email address, you will need to create the printer a new customized ePrint email address.  I have included the Remove ePrint and HP Printables in HP Connected document to walk you through disabling the web services.
To setup ePrint again I have included the Getting the Printer Claim Code document and the Setting Up a Custom Email Address for HP ePrint document.
Once ePrint is setup again, you will need to add the printer to your new Google account.  I have included the Using Google Cloud Print with your HP Printer document for reference, as by the sound of things you are very aware how to do this step.
Please let me know the outcome.

  • How can I print only the emailed attachment to my ePrint enabled printer?

I have ePrint working fine.  I was able to email an attachment to the printer from many miles away.  To prevent wasting paper, I'd like to be able to tell my printer or ePrint Center to just print the attachment, not the email it is attached to.
I have an HP OfficeJet 6500A.

    Hi Sparty80,
The way ePrint is designed, it will print the body of the email and any supported attachments. The only way to print the attachment and not the body of the email is to attach the document to a blank email, or delete the body in the email when you forward the message, which maybe easier.

  • HP LaserJet 1022n prints gibberish since swapping G4 computers

When swapping my newer 733 MHz G4 for the older AGP G4 on the ethernet network at the office, I was no longer able to print more than a string of gibberish that is probably some sort of Postscript language. It begins with: %! PS-Adobe-3.0
    %RBINumCopies : 1 (atend)
and will print multiple pages of this output if I let it. Before the old G4 was replaced there was never any trouble using the printer, a HP LaserJet 10022n, as a network printer using a router in my room at the office. I've downloaded HP drivers, deleted .plists and anything looking like it was related to printer settings, to no avail. The printer works fine with the PC I also use in the office. Any ideas??

Hi Rob, and a warm welcome to the forums!
Yes that is Postscript, and the printer isn't liking it, I'd delete that one in Printer Setup Utility & try adding a new hp non-Postscript one.
