Is HTML DB Version 10.1.0.0 Version 1.5?

We could import spreadsheets into tables when we had version 1.3. But we couldn't do it after our update to version 1.5.1.00.12 (currently). It says "HTTP 404 - File not found".
I searched Metalink and found a similar bug reported as Doc ID: Errors
Note:301329.1, "HTTP-404 Not Found
ORA-00942 "table or view does not exist"
It's listed as:
HTML DB - Version: 10.1.0.0
This problem can occur on any platform.
My question: is version 10.1.0.0 the same 1.5? so we could try to fix it per dads.conf?

That owuld be the right version! But where did you get it? I only find ODP version 10.1.0.3.03 on the download page (http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/windows/odpnet/index.html)....

You can host your content to a WebServer and your managers can view them on their mobile phone if tehy are on same intranet.

Downloading old HTML DB versions

Is it possible to download old HTML DB versions?
From where?
I need to build a development environment for an application built on HTML DB version 1.4.4.00.33. For the moment I cannot upgrade it and Id like the test environment to be production like.

I really would push hard to get your production version upgraded, as Scott said that 1.4 release was a preview release.
In other words....your 'live' environment is running a 'preview' release, if you have any problems with it then you may really struggle and find yourself in an unsupported situation (which obviously isn't good for production code).
Note, I'm not saying the 1.4 release has any more/less bugs than the current release, I'm saying that I'm a big believer in making sure you're running with a version that you can easily get support for.

Ie unable to open bookmarks saved even as html by version 4 of firefox

Since Firefox didn't seem to make any difference between local files and server files (as opposed to MSIE, which does) I saw the only chance to alter the unwanted behavior in changing the MIME type handling – but however, this didn't succeed even for server files, since the handling of internal MIME types like text/plain apparently can't be changed anyway ... which we do not have to understand :|
I already edited the values view_source.editor.external and view_source.editor.path ... unfortunately this only has effect on viewing source code (e.g. by Ctrl+U), but not on the loading of txt-files; neither locally (file:///) nor remote (http://).
If this could be influenced in the same way as source code viewing, that would be the solution.

We are upgrading from TCS 3.5 to TCS 4. In our existing TCS 3.5 environment, we have approximately 20 RoboHelp HTML 9 projects that are under version control. Our version control system is provided through RoboSource Control 3.1/Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
I have determined that RoboSource Control 3.1 is provided with TCS 4. Therefore, it doesn't appear that we need to worry about upgrading the version control databases or the RoboSource Control software (we had to upgrade both the version control software and the version control databases when we upgraded from RoboHelp x5 to TCS 3.5).
So, my primary question is this: After we run the TCS 4 install, what is the recommended process for opening our existing RoboHelp HTML 9 projects from the new RoboHelp HMTL 10? As I see it, there are three potential answers:
Delete all existing RoboHelp HTML 9 "working" folders for the projects, and use RoboHelp HTML 10 to recreate the "working" folders from the version control databases.
Simply open the existing RoboHelp HTML 9 "working" folders for the projects using RoboHelp HTML 10.
It doesn't matter; either of the two options above will work.

I'm not really familiar with RCS, but for other source control systems I recommend the following:
1. Make sure that all your changes are checked in and that at least on pc has the latest version of all the files before updating TCS.
2. Run the update.
3. Now open the project on the pc that has the latest version of all files.
4. After update, check in the entire project.
5. Get the latest version on all pc's using the server. (Don't open the project in the client.)
- Mostly, I just remove the entire project from the pc's and use a GET to get updated project from the server.
I hope the RCS supports a get all from the server, if not, please ignore the above list.

Graphics display problem after upgrade of HTML DB from 1.5 to 1.6

I recently installed HTML DB version 1.5 from Companion CD and tested and everything seemed to work. I immediatley applied the 1.6 version upgrade but now no graphics are shown on the HTML DB ADMIN page. I checked the files from the upgrade $ORACLE_HOME/Patch/htmldb/images and the $ORACLE_HOME/CCD/marvel/images and verified the Alias in $ORACLE_HOME/CCD/Apache/modplsql/conf/marvel.conf. Do I need to look elsewhere for the images?

If that's the case then they made a mistake. If there's not a specific forum for HTMLDB, you could try one of the database groups because I think it ships with the database.

Html comments problem in 2.2.1

Have recently updgraded to version 2.2.1 and in the process of verifying the differneces and problems.
have noticed the following:
have a page template which contains 2 page level item substitutions &PX_ITEM. and &PX_ITEM2. above and below a piece of html
the value of these items is either blank or  respectively thereby allowing the code to be commented out on the fly. This worked in previous version of HTMLDB in APEX 2.2.1 however the chevrons are being output as < and > respectively and so are not being recognised as comment tags.....
any ideas as to why this has changed and how to set it back to working the way it did in previous releases???

If those two items are set to Display As "Hidden", try changing them to
"Display as Text (does not save state)".
More item types, including Hidden items have their contents escaped to remove HTML in version 2.2.

Looking for Quicktime version 7.1.5?

I'm suffering the same frustrations with the Quicktime/iTunes issue. My iTunes was accidently deleted off my computer and I'm trying to reinstall everything again (iTunes, Quicktime, etc.) with many road blocks. I'm following advise posted to reinstall the earlier versions of everything, but I can not seem to find a download of the 7.1.5 version of Quicktime anywhere.
If anyone could find it in their hearts to help me, I would be appreciative!!! I'm just a girl from Texas trying get my husband to think I know what I'm doing! Ha!

My html snippet has only worked for 2 minutes in three months.

Warning: Long, descriptive story up ahead.
I bought my macbook pro complete with iLife 08 bundle software in January and eventually I became a little bit more advanced so I wanted to try using "html snippets" in iWeb.
That's when I discovered it was not working on my iWeb. (I have the latest version of iWeb 08 possible). Also, this is of less concern but my navigation menu is not displaying either-- meaning on the face of my webpages the individual Page Titles are not displaying "Main", "About Me" when I choose "display navigation menu" option from the inspector-- all I get is a big stupid empty space. And yes, I have all the options check to "display this page in my navigation menu" or some such.
So I drove over to an applestore (which took a whole freaking day of my time) and they opened up software updates in the store. This was around the whole MobileMe thing, so I got that upgrade too. And magically my iWeb's html snippets started working for the first time ever! I almost cried, but let's face it, there are more beautiful and spectacular things in life worth my tears of joy. Anyway, I indeed was really happy because I thought this was going to be the beginning of me being able to html snippet youtube videos directly onto my site and do other such amazing things!
Then today when I got home, I'm back to the same stupid non-working html snippet feature again!!!!
I can describe the html snippet issue a little bit: In my non-working html snippet version, a little transparent box appears when I try and open up html snippets... in this little box I can't type anything. How iWeb should work is that this black box should appear where you can type in your code and then a separate little box below the black one works on displaying what you coded.
One maybe important thing I noticed is that... You know how when you open up iWeb, in the left column by your sites there are/were those blue globe .mac picture? Well, after the MobileMe upgrade in the store (just yesterday actually on the 27th), those blue globes turned into blue squares with white clouds. So I think the conversion from .mac to MobileMe helped fixed my bugs? Because today my html snippets doesn't work again and I'm back to the .mac blue globes. I want those little blue squares with white clouds again if it will fix my issue!!

I would look at several things. I'm assuming it shows fully charged after you charge it and that this is a new iphone and not used. Check your location services under Privacy: Location Services for apps that use your location. If you have apps always checking your location it can use power. Turn off any you don't really need. You can always turn them back on.
Check you wifi settings. Turn off the " Ask to join other Networks". If you are driving down the road it will be looking for other networks to join.
Turn off any apps running in the background that are not needed.
Restart your iPhone after you have done this. Hopefully this will improve your battery usage.

RoboDemo (Captivate) file links don't work in HTML Help

I have about 20 Flash movies (one .swf and one .html file
each) that I created using Captivate (formerly "RoboDemo"). They
are stored in a subfolder named "Demos" below the application
folder where my compiled Help file is stored. Each movie is
referenced in a Help topic with a statement like the following:

When I compile for WinHelp 4, the Flash movies run fine when
I open the topics that reference them as above. When I compile for
HTML Help, however, nothing happens when I open the topics that
reference them. All plain text topics and web page links appear to
work fine in the HTML Help version. I am running Help on my local
drive. I have a Windows XP machine. I am using RoboHelp 5.0 (a
little out of date, I know, could that be the issue???)

Oracle D2k Downloads - Version 6i

Hi,
In our office one of our pc was worn out and d2k source
files in the server were not able to open in another system for that
we need to install the below D2k6i Version of Report;
Report Builder 6.0.8.24.0
if we try to open the file it shows the below error

You should not be getting a "saved with a newer version" error if the original was last saved within the same major version. So, opening in 6.0.8.11 should be possible if the file was last saved in 6.0.8.24. It sounds more like the file was saved in a newer version (9 or 10 or 11). In this case, you would not be able to work with it in 6 any longer.
You asked for an "older" version. What you need is a "newer" version. The latest version is 11.1.2. Only versions 11.1.1.x and 11.1.2 are entitled to Error Correction Support. Older versions have been desupported.

Frequent solicitation proporting to be from JAVA update and Modzilla Firefox say those applications need to be updated (but intruder offers only older versions)

I have repeatedly used 'Block Site' to preclude the intruders as their activities frequently void whatever I am attempting to do, but the intruders still get through. Their addresses are:

Multiple Application Server's Version installs multiple jinitiator

I have multiple Application Servers in my environment and they have different versions like 9iAS 9.0.4 10.0.2 etc. I am facing a problem that when my users jump from one Application Server to another then it uses and install different jinitiator.
Kindly let me tell that how i can use just one version of Jinitiator with all versions of Application Server???

I'm really sorry but this is a typo on my part. It should be "You can't have two different APEX versions on the same instance."
Does it mean that if we install ApEx v3 we will have only ApEx v3?Yes. This is exactly what it means. The installation script automatically detect previous installed APEX (or earlier HTML DB ) version, and upgrade it. You can end up with only one version per instance.

Workflow Mailer HTML

We are using the Workflow Mailer with Outlook '98 (to send mail) and Outlook Express (to receive mail). We have selected the 'HTML Mail' delivery. When we look at the sent and received messages, we see the HTML code in the mail, and an attachment with a HTML-page.
We can send mails as an HTML page only, but the Workflow Mailer creates always mails with code and HTML attachments.
Anybody a suggestion?

I am not entirely sure what your question is here, and the answer might vary depending on the version of workflow you are using. From the Workflow Guide, here are your possible notification preferences for Workflow 2.6:
HTML mail--Send notifications as HTML e-mail. Users must read their mail using an HTML e-mail viewer.
Plain text mail with HTML attachments--Send notifications as plain text e-mail but include the HTML-formatted version of the notifications as attachments.
Plain text mail--Send notifications as plain text e-mail.
Plain text summary mail--Send a summary of all notifications as plain text e-mail. Users must use the Notifications web page to take action on individual notifications.
Do not send me mail--Do not send the notifications as e-mail. Users must view the notifications and take action from the Notifications web page.

Current Flash Version listed Does not Match What gets downloaded

The reason I'm doing this because at the Walgreens AND Walmart websites, when I choose a store to print photo's at, the tab I'm in closes. The first thing Walgreens tech people say to do is make sure java and flash are up to date...
