HERE WE ARE ITS JULY 31ST AND STILL NO ICS!!!!!! WHEN IS IT GOING TO COME OUT DECEMBER 31ST???

i am sick and tired waiting for updates for android phones and being told update coming soon over and over again or having a phone that i might buy not be able to get the latest os (ie.jelly bean and what ever else comes out in the future) and i shouldnt have to root it to get my phone to work properly ( data signal dropping all the time) I think i might just get the iphone 5 this fall. granted i ll miss andoid but enough is enough.. htc is no longer getting any of my money. At least apple doesnt mess around when it comes to updates...

iPhone 3G has received its last iOS update. If wallpapers behind the homescreen icons is such an important feature for you, you'll need a newer model iPhone.

Unless you are really strapped for cash, I recommend buying Lr5 now, and Lr6 when it comes out, and don't think twice if you just missed a cutoff..
That way, you are running the best version of Lightroom now, and will be again in the future, and your money is helping to support the software you use.
The moral of the story: don't be penny-wise and pound-foolish by trying to give a minimal amount to the company which feeds you.. - send the message: "I want the best version of Lightroom you can produce, and I'm willing to pay for it - thank you..".
That said, Lr6 is likely to come out fairly soon, presumably no more than a few months..
PS - There is "always" something enticing for everybody in a new version, despite the features you couldn't care less about.. Lr6 will probably have face recognition (which you may or may not care about), but there will no doubt be some improvements to the develop module too etc..

Apple has made no announcement about any future models of iPod, and until they do there's nothing anyone here can tell you. We'll all just have to wait.

No. For iPod touch, iOS 7 requires the current iPod touch model, which is 5th gen.

besides, LION is still sortof not quite has a bit beta around the edges and not ready for business production work or workstations.
I thnk they have always come out 6 months too soon and when 10.3.2 or later, .4.3+ etc and same here 10.7.2 maybe or more like .3 as well.

Apple should realy come out with an iPod Touch that has built in Wi-Fi. They iPod Touch could be just like a phone! I think everyone would upgrade to it.

Yeah , but you can only connect to Wi-Fi if you have a router , which in my case , I dont have one . I already have a phone , but it would be nice for it to have built in Wi-Fi so I could use the Internet or Facetime with people ANYWHERE , even if the place I was at DID NOT have a router / Wi-Fi connection . They iPad has built in Wi-Fi , so why not have the iPod Touch have built in Wi-Fi ?(:

I have just got the new iPod Touch for christmas. I am now wondering when a docking station will come out for the new iPod Touch with the new lightning connection. I have not been able to find a docking station that fits the iPod Touch without having to buy the adapter(the adapter does not allow the iPod to be charged)

You would have to ask the makers of the docking stations that question. Belkin has a dock now that uses Apple's Lightning cable:

so all it basically does is provide a stand and pass through the headphone jack. There's at least one other dock here:

If you're referring to Apple's Universal Dock, there have been no indications that they will make any new dock, though of course none of us here know their plans for future products.

Iheard the same. If your going with the verizon iphone 4s i would wait, its worth it trust me, cdma *****!!! Sooo slow and you cant even surf while on the phone. I kinda regret buying this phone but it looks so nice, lol. You can go to cnet.com they usually have the skinny on that.
