Is iPhone's casing plastic or metal? (aka scratch removal)
Anyone know what materials the casing of the phone is made of? Plastic or metal?
Specifically these 3 parts:
1. shiny silver edges around the touch screen
2. matte silver back panel with Apple logo
3. bottom black speaker covers
I'm trying to remove some scratches. I'm looking at vendors/products, Brasso for metal and Novus for plastic. Need to know which to use for which part of the phone.

There are number of other companies that make leather iPhone cases though - I've used numerous Sena leather sleeves and cases over the years although I've never inquired what species of leather they use. -
When I went to download some pics (originally taken with my iphone 4S) from my computer back to my iPhone I got the following error message: "iTunes will no longer sync photos to the iPhone "Peter's iPhone". Do you want to keep or remove photos previosly synced to your iPhone?"
Coincidentally, my wife just purchased an iPhone 4S and syncs to iTunes on the same computer.
Any ideas?
PeterThe "best" way to handle it, if you want to keep everything separate, is to create separate user accounts on the computer. make sure you log into your account on the computer before you attempt to sync your phone and log out when you're done using the computer.
Though it's possible to sync both of them to the same iTunes library, and even share an account for the iTunes store, you're inviting confusion and possible data loss (as you've discovered already). Best to just use separate user accounts on the computer. That also gives you the benefit of not polluting the other persons browser favorites, contacts, etc. -

If you are using two iPhones on the same Apple Account by using the same Apple ID you can remove one by following the following:
Choose Settings > Store and tap Sign out
The apps and such should remain. If you want to clear all of that you can do the following:
The Erase all Content and Settings feature under Settings/General/Reset will remove your content and settings.

i was somewhat helped. but still i am getting problem to delete my photos that i synced last night via itunes on my pc. problem is i deleted the photos from the location on pc after getting them on my device, so i am unable to resync them, deselect and remove them as per i was helped by this communities i am new to use apple products so please help me as it has taken lot of memory in my device/
you say:- You need to keep the photos on the computer, since the ones that are synced to the iPhone are of reduced resolution and cannot be moved anywhere else. You can always remove the other folder if you do not want it.
BUT I DONT HAVE THE PHOTOS ON MY DEVICE(MY PC) I DELETED THEM.
further i tried this:-If you do not have another folder of photos that you can sync, then create an empty folder on the computer and sync that folder. That will delete the photos from the iPhone, then you can go back to iTunes, remove the checkmark by the empty folder and sync again, removing that folder from the iPhone.
Trying this it just removed the checkmark nothing else it did
i think i have no other option rather than to keep those synced photos on my device> -

My (shared) iMessages are taking up almost all my iPhone storage. Is there a way to remove them to free up space on my phone?
Thx - the videos are on my Ipad - that is the problem - they are taking up all the storage and there is no room for anything else. Is there any place I can store them so that I can access them from time to time, but not have they use up all the space on the IPad? Sounds like the cloud is out...

Dear Experts,
Could you please exchange some idea's on how we could deal with (for us in the Netherlands) mandatory registration of the amount of glass, plastic, metal etc that houses the the finished materials we have in stock in our warehouse for our customers.
We are a logistical service provider and one of our customers is requesting this kind of registration.
So at inbound of a new material, not only the logistical parameters are being registered, but also the amount of waste-packaging if you will.
We could of course create different units of measures to capture these characteristics, but I am wondering how and if it could be done differently.
I had a look at the waste management module, but that is I think not really covering the requirements.

I am not a "guru" in material classes. but this is my knowledge:
The SAP System provides regarding several purposes standard classes (or more precisly standard class types). Classes fo classtype "100" are EH&S classes, 023 are charge classes and 001 are material classes etc.. There is a tabstrip available in MM01/02/03 which is called "Classifciation". Here you would see later the corresponding values.(and with mm01/02 you would maintain the values). I believe you need to do some customizing to get the class assigned It is possible to assign more than one class to the material type. I found by a quick research only the link to the old docu:

Normally you would generate a class lets call it "Z_WASTE". Then you would assign characteristics.
Here you would use one charactersitic to maintain data regarding "Glass", one regarding "Metal" and one regarding" plastic"
Further option is to generate per "topic" one class and assign that to the material. What is important: you can create only one "instance" per class on material level and not too or more (same class!)
The characteristic would be generated e.g. like this:
a.) type would be numeric with UoM
b.) you need to define which UoM you would like to use
c.) then you need to define format e.g. x.xxx,xx Would mean you can maintain a number like "1.000,00" togetzher with "%" (meaning weight %).
d.) You can force the SAP system that if you would like to generate a class that some values are mandatory on characteristic level
e.) you can define the characteristic in such a way that you can manitain "interval" like "1.0 - 2.0"
etc. So anything which is allowed in the class/characteristic system can be used here (not discussing the options that you could use customer specific function modules as check functions of the content of the characteristic).
Normally the story is like this;
You generate on material whcih describes the unpacked material"
Then you create a "packing" (further material number)
And then you copmbine both to a "package" material number.
So to my understanding the material class would be asigne do the "packing" material. I know that hierarchies are supported in SAP standard too (regarding analysis etc.) but you need to do a research here on SAP help.
Hope that these options cna be sued regarding your demands

Best iPhone 4 leather case with metal beltclip?
I used to think that Orbino was the best, but the new clip has had lots of problems and diminished the value of their product. The cheaper new clip always breaks after awhile.
I had that issue to. You can use any charger with the iPhone 4 and bumper if you purchase a dock extender. It isn't very expensive and you'll be glad you did because you wont have to take of the bumper for any dock accessories. I got mine at http://www.gadgetboost.com

If I delete my Iphone from the Icloud back up will it remove the items saved from that device?
I had to purchase a new Iphone today because it would no longer turn on. I had Icloud set up for that device. When I got my new phone I put in my exsisting apple ID and it is showing my other device. Since it has both phones listed, am I able to delete the old phone, or will that take whatever is saved from that device off of my Icloud account?
