Is is possible to add a graphic to a signature?
Hi -
I have tried to add my company logo to my signature, but when I drag it into the Signature pane in the Mail Preferences, I get a "missing plug-in" dialog.
I have tried the logo as a PNG, and a JPEG.
Any help appreciated.
I would prefer to embed this into my signature as opposed to using Stationery.
Thank you.
I'm not sure what's going wrong in your case, but a few things you should know about this sort of thing... First, the graphic will be an attachment and there's no guaranteeing that it will actually show up in the signature as you want it to. This is dependent on the e-mail client, and they're not all on the same page when it comes to this sort of thing. Second, putting an attachment on every single one of your e-mails can be extremely obnoxious to people you send mail to. For example, I never delete mail, and I'm constantly irked by people putting useless attachments in every message so that I end up with hundreds or even thousands of them piling up in my mailboxes, taking up a lot of unnecessary disk space over time. I solve that by removing such attachments, but that requires me to do extra work.
So, you might think it'll look good, but there will be plenty of cases where it won't and also cases where it'll annoy someone.

Is it possible to add a graphics card to the back of my HP
Hello I want to know if it's possible to add a new graphics card to the back of a Laptop not inside of it but on the back of my laptop ??? my graphics Card is a Intel 4000 graphics card is a terrible for gaming TERRIBLE !!!
Not sure where it would go on the back, but no the system is closed. There is no place to insert a graphics card or attach it. You will find some hokey stuff on the internet where people say you can plug a video card in the wireless card slot but those are a hoax at worst and at best they do not tell you that such a thing would not even perform as well as what you have and is likely to damage the motherboard.

I have a 2011 Macbook Pro, quad core, RAM maxed at 16gb, 250 SSD, and SSHD to replace optical drive, but wanted to know if there was a way to add an external graphics card via Thunderbolt for more screens and faster work in VIDEO editing on-the-go?!?!
Is this possible? can anyone give me any advice that would help me.
I DO have a 2006 Mac Pro that I've also maxed out and it's STILL a BEAST and i love using it... but wanted to see how i could increase my macbook pro too, seeing it can run mavericks and ALL my adobe CC apps too.
Thanks so much for ANY suggestions!!Click on the links in the "More Like This' box:

I have a need to create a Digital Signature field of the same size, in the same location, on many PDF documents over and over. I would like to do this automagically through the Adobe SDK if that is possible. Has anyone done something like this before, and if so can you briefly describe how? Thank you.
You can do this most easily with JavaScript.

Is it possible to upgrade/add a graphics card to a Pavilion dv7-7000 laptop?
I've been doing a lot of research lately, to mostly no avail, about whether or not my HP Pavilion dv7-7025dx laptop can have a dedicated GPU added to it, as currently it only has the integrated Intel HD 4000 Mobile graphics card.
Mostly I've come across the unfortunate agreement that most laptops cannot have their graphics cards upgraded/swapped out, since the graphics card is soldered on to the motherboard. However, after talking to an HP "support representative", they said they believed it was possible to add a graphics card, as long as it is compatible with the HM77 45W UMA Motherboard my computer has.
Furthermore, after finding the maitenence and service manual online for my computer ( http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03221579.pdf ) it says that it could have come with switchable graphics, specifically the Nvidia Geforce 630M or 650M.
So I am wondering, is it really at all possible to add a dedicated graphics card, either by having switchable graphics or something else? Or am I stuck with the integrated Intel HD graphics?
If I can upgrade/add a new card, where would I be able to find/buy a compatible one, and would I be able to install it myself or would I need to go to a local computer repair?
My laptop is the HP Pavilion dv7-7025dx Entertainment Notebook.
It has an Intel Core i7- 3610QM CPU @ 2.30 GHz, 8GB memory, 750GB hard drive (5400 rpm).
I am currently running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit).
Any other specifications can be found here:

Hi,
You can't add a dedicated graphics card to the system like this. The vga is soldered to the board so no way you can just plug it in like on a desktop. However, you can buy a new motherboard with the dedicated graphics card on it. It also requires a new heat sink.
Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03221579.pdf
You need a 682040-001 board plus 682061-001 heat sink to have a dedicated graphics card on your laptop. Have a look on ebay for the part numbers.

Is it possible to upgrade/add a graphics card to a Hp Envy dv7 dv7-7243cl laptop
I've been doing a lot of research lately, to mostly no avail, about whether or not my HP Envy dv7 dv7-7243c laptop can have a dedicated GPU added to it, as currently it only has the integrated Intel HD 4000 Mobile graphics card.
Mostly I've come across the unfortunate agreement that most laptops cannot have their graphics cards upgraded/swapped out, since the graphics card is soldered on to the motherboard. My laptop is the HP Envy dv7 dv7-7243cl Entertainment Notebook.
It has an Intel Core i7- 3630QM CPU @ 2.40 GHz, 12 GB memory, 150 GB SSD hard drive, 1 TB hard drive (5400 rpm).
I am currently running Windows 8.1 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit).You're very welcome.
I am not a PC repair tech by trade or training.
Other than the replacement motherboard, and fan and heatsink combination, I wouldn't know if any other parts are required.
The parts you need are listed in chapter 3 of the service manual with the part numbers.
I also don't know if the boards come with the windows 8 product key included in the BIOS.
There may be multiple motherboards listed, so make sure you get the right one.
Same for the fan and heatsink. -
How to add Oracle Graphics 6i charts (OGD) to my Oracle Reports 10g
Hi,
Is there any possibility to add Oracle Graphics 6i Charts (.OGD) to Oracle Reports 10g
(OR)
If not possible, Can you please provide steps to migrate OGD to any format that is supported in Oracle Reports 10g.
Regards,
SwethanOracle Graphics and its OGD image format are no longer supported. Reports built with previous versions of Oracle Reports containing Oracle Graphics charts will continue to run in Oracle Reports 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) if the Oracle Graphics 6i runtime is installed on the same machine in a separate ORACLE_HOME. However, this is not a supported configuration, and Oracle will not fix bugs that result from this configuration.

Possible to validate data entries during Digital Signature?
I have a form that was built from scratch using Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2. I also have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.3.2. (WinXP)
I see numerous articles online related to validating user input prior to data submission for an online form via a Submit button, however, I am trying to figure out how to implement the same sort of data validation during the signing of a particular digital signature field in an offline pdf form. Simply, I want to perform data validation during a digital signature instead of when user presses Submit button.
Here's my use-case:
1. Form Originator fills out a large number of data fields and signs form via a CAC cert.
2. Another person will review, possibly edit/add data, and sign another signature block with CAC.
3. Then there is one more final CAC signature on the form before it is completed and then emailed to the right folks for processing.
4. I would like to be able to enforce the population of several Mandatory data fields (at least one Radio button and one text input, possibly others) before the 3rd signature can be applied to the document.
Again, I need to emphasize this is all happening in an offline form, no data submission or database back-end. Also, everything with the digital signatures (and locking up fields afterword) works totally fine, just interested in adding Data Validation capability during Digital Signature.
I am in no way a javascript expert, but I can probably learn from a good example. Any help or guidance is very much appreciated. Thanks...If you are using SignatureField in the form then you will get two events preSign and postSign which you can use to validate the field input just like you do with a Submit button.
Thanks

Is it possible to add a preloader to show while the graphics are loading?
I created a web site that has quite a few show/hide divs to work with the navigational menu on the left, which I believe is making the site load slowly. Is it possible to add a preloader to show up until the site is fully loaded?
The site originally had a flash movie that was set to load automatically. I removed this thinking it would make the site load quicker but it didn't help much.
Here is the URL: http://www.keystonewalls.com
Any advice?I created a web site that has quite a few show/hide divs to work with the navigational menu on the left, which I believe is making the site load slowly. Is it possible to add a preloader to show up until the site is fully loaded?
What's making that page load slowly is the 57 hits on the server to request images, and the combined weight of those images (~3.3MB). Surely you don't need so many images. The menu could be done all text for starters. Note also that there is still a 120K Flash object being loaded. Add to this weight the incredibly voluminous CSS (oodles of absolute positioning), and the table-based approach, and you have made a simple layout into a lumbering behemoth! -
APPLESTUDIO DISPLAY 17"(ADC/CRT) - possible to add external power?
Hi there,
is it possible to add some external power to this monitor(12v)?
APPLESTUDIO DISPLAY 17"(ADC/CRT) :
http://www.everymac.com/monitors/apple/studiocinema/specs/apple_studio_display_17cl.html
Are there any technical schematics to download?
In theory one should find the power cables that is normally integrated in the ADC cable?
Many thanks,
CFThe best solution would to buy a new graphics card that can support 2 inputs. Certain applications/tasks (like video editing) don't handle 2nd card well. So I have never ran a PCI card for my second monitor. You'll have to specify what you intend to do with your graphics card for better recomendations of cards that just aren't overkill for your usage. All of my systems use Dr bott connectors & I have never had a problem with them. Depending on what card you buy you may need one or two of the ADC to DVI connectors on the site. Best of luck

How to add custom graphical features to cursors in Waveform Graphs
Hi all:
I´ve starting a project in LabView, in which I need to synchronise some events with a sound track.
To do this, I tought that LabView would be the tool of choice, but now that I´m working on it, I
found my self faced with some serious problems.
What I want to do, is to represent a .wav sound file in a Waveform graph, and then use the cursors
to mark some points in the desired places where I want things to happen, but, these events are
going to be on during some period of time.
So, it will be natural that some consecutive events might overlap in time, and I need to have
some control on this.
The best solution would be to have a rectangular strip attached to the cursors, with a lenght
representing the exact time duration of the event.
But this is only possible on my dreams, because I dont see any tools on LabView that aloud us to implement
any extra graphical features on the cursors.
But as I learned more about LabView, I found that a user can program blocks of software in C, to implement
things that LabView does´nt do by default.
And now I´m wondering if this could be the solution for my problem.
Is it possible to add new custom features such as the one that I need?
If yes, how?
I have atached an image to give a clear ideia of what I need.
I´ll apretiate any help.
Thanks

LV Custom.jpg 40 KBNo, you can't modify the cursors with either the native or C code. But I'm wondering if you can't get what you want with an XY graph instead of a regular graph. You can have multiple separate plots and some of them can be thick horizontal lines. I've attached a file with just some constants wired to an XY graph to show what I mean. Obviously, you'd have to calculate the values for the x and y arrays in your real situation. If you have to use a regular graph to display the .wav file, you could also overlay a transparent XY Graph on top. The other possiblity is to use a picture control to display your data. There's a couple of shipping examples (i.e. Waveform and XY Plots, XY Multi Plot) that show how data can be represented and Pen Attributes and Sub setting shows how you can draw lines of different widths.

Is it possible to add color context row with javascript?
Hi,
Is it possible to add color context rows for a graphic object with javascript?
Thanks. The match syntax changed between version 12.0 and 12.1, so my recommendation to you is to build an iGrid template the way you would like to do it with javascript, then export the display template from the workbench.
Open the template in a text editor and observe the format for the MatchValues, MatchColumns, and MatchColors strings.
Then your javascript will follow the document.APPLET.gridObject().setMatchXXX("xxxx"); as shown in the script assistant.
