Apple won't install a third-party SSD for you - you can do it yourself if you can handle a screwdriver.
A lot of videos on YouTube take you straight through the process. All you need is the SSD, an enclosure to hold your old hard drive, Carbon Copy Cloner, and a couple of screwdrivers.

Call the store on the telephne and ask. However, I doubt it since a store would not normally have an item with non-USA features

Haven't much problem with Airs around here, since they have a SSD they tend to be more reliable.
Perhaps it was a bad update, have you ran through this list of possible fixes?
Do as many as possible, starting with #1. Until the problem is resolved.

There is something on your iPhone (a music file, iBook, document or video) that belongs to another Apple ID. Only your wife would know how that file arrived there. Your iPhone is asking for the correct Apple ID for all of the files that are resident on the iPhone.

Can I also switch to my own contract? I am on my parents plan as of right now, and need to go to my own contract. If I get an iPhone 5 at an Apple Store, can I switch my contract to my own at the Apple Store? Would they be able to do that for me? Or is that something that only Verizon can do? Lion was released in July 20, 2011. Any NEW Mac sold after that date is entitled to Lion AFAIK. If you purchased yours from some seller that had it aging on the shelf since God-knows-when, contact Apple and see if you can get some sort of redeem code to download Lion from the Apple Store for free.
Older used/refurbished Macs are entitled to the OS in force at the time of their manufacture and should come with the installation media as a condition of sale. Apple MAY provide you with replacement media for a cost, if at all. Lion upgrades will have a cost and the Mac must follow an upgrade path thru Snow Leopard before Lion can be installed via an online download.

My speaker isn't working is this a common problem and will the apple store replace my phone for no charge?

No, but take another look at "Refurbished". They may not be pre-owned at all. They might just be unsold leftovers, or refurbs that never left the factory. I bought my iMac as a refurb and there was no indication of any previous use anywhere on it.

Buying a new computer from the Apple Store

I know someone who is interested in getting a new computer (probably an iMac) who is a retired teacher. Do you think she will be able to get an educational discount?
She is upgrading to make use of FireWire 800 (her current iMac only has FW400 ports) Also, are there any Macs available yet that use USB 3.0 ?
If she buys a tower, will she be able to upgrade to USB 3.0 at a later time?

They say that someone has to be a current employee of an educational instution; retirees are not eligible. The terms in other countries may differ.
There are no Macs at this time that offer USB 3.0. If she buys a Mac Pro, yes, she can add a USB 3.0 PCI card, at least one example of which is available now. It will not be possible to add a USB 3.0 card to any other Mac (since no other Mac has slots), though it's not impossible that someone will come up with a Thunderbolt to USB 3.0 converter. Sonnet Technologies has announced a Thunderbolt expansion chassis that would probably accept a USB 3.0 PCI card, but that's starting to get a bit pricey.
