  • Display additional fields in Service Request detail page

    Hi All,
Is it possible to display some fields like Account Type, Contact Type etc. in Service Request detail page?
Service Request Field Edit page only allows to add default value to the newly created field, that's not the result that I needed.
    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Bruce,
There's a function called joinfield value that will allow you to bring across information from those pages, if you email me (alex.neill@{see profile}) I'll send you the document.

  • CJI3 report not displaying values correctly in the "Total Quantity" field

    Dear Friends,
Need your assistance on the issue explained below,
In our project there is a scenario where the actuals posted on a WBS are split/distributed to various WBS.These actuals that are split can be CATS entries, manual posting (KB21) or postings that come to R3 from a legacy system. The split happens by means of a custom program and is not standard. There is a tab seperated text file that contains the split percentages and the sender as well as the receiver WBS elements.Off late it has been observed that after the split is done the CJI3 report does not show the split quantities correctly and hence there is difference in the values displayed in the currency field. This is not a rounding off difference and is considerable. We have done all possible analysis from our side but i am unable to find how the difference occurs.
To add to this i have even come across certain notes which describe the issue closely but none of it has helped so far. I have simulated the scenario with the same settings in the Quality server and it seems to work fine there without any glitches. We have even compared the program in both the Quality as well as the Production servers and there is no difference in the program as well. The values for the total quantity field are stored in the table COVP and it has been observed the report is fetching this data to display in CJI3.
I have run CJEN too but this too does not correct the report. I was just wondering if any of our colleagues can provide me with some suggestions or insight in this issue.
    Regards,
    Gokul

    Hi Praveen,
    Thanks for the response.
Actually i did debug the program with the help of our technical guys but found nothing wrong in both the quality and the production system. We compared the program in both the systems and it seems to be same. I am exploring this issue. Will update the findings here.
In case anyone has any suggestion please do suggest.
    Regards,
    Gokul

  • Quantity fields not getting displayed in the second total row

    Hi,
As per the requirement I have to display 2 total rows for an ALV report using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID. I am able to get the first total row properly using method get_subtotal(). However for the next total row only the character fields are getting displayed and the quantity fields are coming blank.
The second total row will have different values based on a formula.
Please help me out in resolving the issue.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek

You can provide first row as the SUBTOTAL and next row as the TOTAL.
Get one extra column on which you can do the SUBTOTAL.

  • Quantity field not getting displayed for all document types

    Hi,
I have made a configuration to include field Quantity(BSEG-MENGE) in the GL account line item display. When I ran the report for stock adjustment account(FAGLL03), only the following document types are showing quantity against them.
    WI- Inventory document
    WA-Goods Issue
WE---Not showing quantity against (WE- Goods Receipt)
Can any one please explain. I have seen the original document from FI document. The original document as well as FI document carries quantity.
    Thanks
    Aravind

    Hi Aravind,
Check SAP notes  1063198 and 1117587.
FAGLL03 display quantity which is updated in FAGLFLEXA, BSEG is not
relevant in this case. This is clearly explained in the note 1063198.
The quantity posts through to FI on the 'goods receipt' items, but not on the
    'invoice receipt' items.
In the FI normally the Quantity is not a 'real' important field, as it
is more related to the MM area.
But in the old 'Profit Center Accounting' and the old' Special Ledger'
    the field has been important.
As the same logic of these areas to 'store' the Quantity is also used
in the NewG/L the field get only filled in the line, where it make
'sense' from our point of view, because only in the 'goods receipt'
lines a 'real' Quantity is posted to the system.
So as before in the PCA and SL, now also in the NewG/L the Quantity is
filled in the correct and important lines and postings.
In the BSEG ('old document segment table') the field is filled 'just'
as it is send to the FI, but this is not completely correct from the
    business point of view.
This can also lead to issues with the reporting and summation to this
field. So with creating the new logic in the NewG/L the 'correct'
standard of the 'writing' for the Quantity has also been taken over.
So in the end, the update and display is correct according  SAP standard behavior.
Actually,Quantities within G/L are never reliable,
because the purpose of FI is a view on the data according to amount
    but not according to quantity.
In the FI normally the Quantity is not a 'real' important field, as it
is more related to the MM area.
I hope I could be of assistance.

    Fernando

  • Quantity field in alv display

    Hi all.
    we are phasing a  problem.
I am using alv to display in output.
I am using a Quantiti field (BDMNG),.
in this field if nodata is there then it is showing 0.000(that is the default value).
    I don't want those zeros.I want only space(blank only).
Can any body help me to solve this issue.
    Thanks in advance
    Eswar.

    Hai,
While building field catalog For quantity field Set the NO-ZERO attribute to 'X'.
Or you can change the quantity filed to character in the alv display.
    Mark points if helpful.

  • Is it possible to display only dynamically selected fields in the out put?

Is it possible to display only dynamically selected fields in the out put? i need to display set of columns in the selection criteria, but in the output i have display only input given fields. because i need to convert it into .csv file. So i have to display selected fields from internal table. In oracle they are using"execute immediate". is there any equivalent in SAP?
    thanks in advance.

    Hi Remya,
Are you talking about dynamic programming in ABAP ?
If yes, there are concepts like RTTS which facilitates it.
Yes, the select query also supports dynamic selection of fields. ( Please care about ( ) in dynamic sql ).
Do more research on Field Symbols and statements like ASSIGN COMPONENT OF.

since it is a quantity field it is getting displayed with 0.00
    Can it be solved?

    Hi,
one thing can be done that before passing the data to the table control take work varibale of char type and pass the PRS values to that variable using MOVE Keyword  and then to the table control .
    ie. data :
         w_prs(10) type c.
    move wa_prs to w_prs.
" pass w_prs to the table control
    Hope u got the idea...
    thanks

  • Tcode VL10G  quantity field values are not displaying ?

    Hi All,
In TCODE - VL10G - Sales and Purchase Order display  -
After passing the input values it displays the results with minimum fields in the ALV layout.  When I add Quantity fields to the layout - WMENG -Order quantity and any other Quantity related fields it is not displaying values in the results. Even though the values exists in the table.
Can anyone tell me what could be the reason? In the input screen u2013 passing the values in USER ROLE tab has anything related to this issue?
I tried to debug and could not find code related to VBEP table or other table which has quantity fields.
Please let me know if any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  • ALV Display for Quantity Field

    Hi All,
I am working on ALV classes.
I have a quantity field which needs to be displayed without decimals.
When I declare the data type as type p decimals 0,It is displayed correctly but when I change the field with a value using the method handle_data_changed it gives a value multiplied by 10 always. i.e., when the new value is 5 it gives the value as 50.
I tried referencing the Unit value but it doesn't work.
Any views on suppressing the decimal values without getting the value multiplied by 10 is highly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards,
    K.S.

    Hello Kandasamy,
Change the reference field that points to the ALV display field to a non decimal field and then use the Integer variable assignment for  removing the decimals  during teh BAPi or database fetch.
    Hope this answers your question.
    Thanks,

  • Unit of the Quantity field is displaying in internal format in Bex report

    Hi Experts,
I have a BEx Query, in which i have quantity keyfigure added(Examble - Sales Quantity).
When i run the report for a selection the report displayes the unit for the quantity field in internal format.
Examble - instead of showing 10 CS (case), the report is shwing in 10 CV (internal format of unit CS is CV).
Also when i check the cube content, it has the unit updated into the cube as CS for that keyfigure.
Can any one let us know, how to dispaly the report output in external format.
    Regards.
    Muruganand.K

    Hi Gopi,
The property in question is "calculated". This is a property of a context value attribute. So select the value attribute in the context to which your field is bound and view the properties. Set "calculated=true". It will generate the accessors.
In the setter method, add the following piece of code:
    public void set<your attribute name>(IPrivate<your component>View.IContextElement element, java.lang.String value)
      DecimalFormat df = new DecimalFormat("#.00");
      value = df.format(value).toString();

  • ALV: Quantity field displays both blank and 0 value.

    Hi,
My ALV has a quantity field. The requirement is for the first time displaying the value of this column always blank but once user change it to 0, it should keep 0 value.
I implemented the first requirement by setting the property Display Leading Zeros in Formatting area to "Zeros as Blanks" for the corresponding attribute/node in context. The problem is whenever I key in 0 then enter --> the value of this field is always set back to null.
I have another solution is using type char instead of type quantity. But this is the last choice because I don't want to validate and make the char field works as the numeric field.
    Please help.
    Thanks,

    Hi Anu,

    U can do onething anu.
Declare one varaible with the local field.
Pass u r quantity field value into that variable.
While displaying thriugh SET_TABLE_FIRST_DISPLAY in your internal table pass this variable.
    It will solve u r problem.I think.

As it is quantity field, it will print even the decimal points...U can try this...move the value to a char variable and use truncating to remove zeros by deleting them and use this value in ur script to print the value.
