Is it a possibility that apple will replace my iphone 5 with a 5c?

I've just gotten tired of all the problems like exiting out of apps and dying at 20 to sometimes 50 percent and the lock button stopped working about 5 months ago. I never dropped it or anything until after the problems occurred and I used to always have the case on. I don't know if it has anything to do with iOS but from researching a bit it seems others with the 5 have been having similar problems. I even try to reduce the amount of apps I have open to help save battery and it just doesn't work, especially when I have my camera open, it'll drain drastically or just flat out die. Even when I close all open apps and turn notifications and things off and don't use it it'll still lose quite a bit of battery. My warranty ends on my birthday this week and I was wondering if I went and got a replacement if they'd replace it with the 5c because they seem to be very similar just size and material difference. But yea I just don't really want to end up with another iphone 5 that might end up the same way as this one has I guess.

They will not exchange a 5 for a 5c.
Sorry,

  • HT4061 I had read that Apple will replace a cracked screen on an iPad the first time for free. Does anyone know if this is true?

I have read that Apple will replace a cracked screen on an iPad the first time it is damaged for free. Does anyone know if this is true?

apple's official policy is: cracked screens = accidental damage
With iPad 1 and 2, accidental damage is not covered by any apple care and a replacement iPad starts at $249 and goes up depending on the model.
iPad3's were eligible for Apple Care + which offers two instances of accidental damage repair for $49 each time
The 'apple store replaced my cracked ipad for free' is largely an urban legend. It's possibly happened, but those that have been on the receiving end were people that happened to get a store manager that defied Apple's official policy. Not to say it hasn't potentially happened, but it's an exception not the rule. And if you happen to be lucky enough to experience it, that's just what it is, luck. Not something to be counted on or expected.

Is true that apple will replace I pad 3 to new iPad for the customers?

When the iPad 4 was released, Apple said that persons who had purchased an iPad 3 in the prior 30 days could exchange it for an iPad 4. This replacement period is over.
     Cheers, Tom

My volume down button have stuck but it was not my falt and no dent is on the button and I read in an article that apple will replace it because it is a defect and my phone is 2 years old so means out of warrenty just want to ask that will apple replace it.

If your phone is out of warranty you will be given the option of buying a new phone or getting one with an out of warranty replacement, which is cheaper that buying a new phone.

  • If i bought an ipod five months ago, and it was stolen, will the warranty mean that apple will replace it?

My ipod was stolen from school two days ago and ive been going over topics and articles and as far as i can tell, it looks like apple will replace it because my warranty is still in place. is this true?

    Of course not.
Warranties for any product do not cover theft at all.
    Warranties cover manufacturer defects.
If your tv is stolen does Sony just give you another? Of course not.
Does Ford give you another car if your is stolen?  Of course not.
If your shoes are stoledn does Nike give you another pair?  no.
    Anything?

  • Possible that itunes will not update iphone OS while overseas?

hi, im in australia, and i was thinking about getting the iphone 3gs through the local australian network carrier here, however, a friend of mine said that whenever he returns to his home country with the contract phone that he obtained under a plan with yes optus (australian network carrier) he told me that it is not possible to update the phone or download any apps through the local itunes store in his home country. to confirm this rumour, i head down to a 3 (another australian network carrier) retail store to enquire about the plan while at the same time asking about the rumour, a sales person said that it might be possible that itunes will not update an australian phone with an non australian IP address...is this true? because purchasing an iphone and not being able to update it while i too return to my home country would render the phone quite pointless. could someone please get back to me and confirm if this is true and if there is any possible solutions without hacking the phone? ohh and by the way, the network carriers do legally unlock the phones for their customer when anyone needs to go overseas

If your phone is locked to the Australian network, then you can only roam in Malaysia. If it's unlocked, you can get a SIM card from a Malaysian provider.
iTunes, however, is country specific. You cannot access Australian iTunes from another country. For example, I'm in the US, and I can't access iTunes from other countries.
If your phone is unlocked, and you have a local SIM card, you should be able to access your local version of iTunes. No problem.

  • If I bought a mac book pro now, could it be possible that apple will stop supporting it in a few years or so ??

Are mac book pros no use buying as apple could stop supporting them in a few years ??  Will this mean you won't be able to update it ???

Why are you more concerned now, on the 30th anniversary of the Introduction of Macintosh, than before?

  • When possible that apple will include Khmer language in their iOS? Recently, there are over 50,000 iPhone devices have been using in Cambodia, according to Phnom Penh Post, but it still not yet able to read and write Khmer language.

This is a user to user forum so no one here would be able to tell you that. I would suggest you leave Apple some feedback using the following link http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

  • Is it true that Apple will not replace an LCD under warranty?

I have an iPhone 4s, that I bought around a month ago. It is under warranty. I have been having issues with the phone since the day I received it in the mail. One being that I get dial tones and/or other static-y noises at the beginning of all outgoing and incoming calls, usually for about 2-3 seconds. The phone also randomly dies, even if it has 15, 20 sometimes even 30 percent battery left. The biggest issue I've ran into is the front screen of the phone popping off. Not completely, but enough to notice. The way I can tell when it happens is because the home button will feel weird, like majorly indented and then light can be seen coming out through the side of the phone. The problem is that each time this happens the screen would get little crack-looking disturbances or just discolored all over, and then tonight it popped out AGAIN while I was talking to my mom and then screen went black and the phone just started making a weird bonging sound over and over. For lack of a better term, I'm ******.
The phone itself is perfect. No scratches, no dents, nothing. It's always been in a case.
My husband is adamant that I'm wasting my time because Apple will not replace an LCD screen, but obviously the phone has had issues since I received it and it's not anything that I did! I spoke to a very nice representative who made an appointment at the Apple Store to have it checked out. Has anyone had any luck with getting something like this taken care of under warranty? Thanks!

The AppleTV update was not mandatory. It is not applied automatically, and will continue to function without an update. Others have reported successfully exchanging updated AppleTVs for models with earlier versions of the OS when there was a problem with the update.
Anybody whose equipment does not match Apple's specifications (e.g. those with TVs that do not have built-in HDMI ports, or that cannot accept a 720p signal) should be very wary of installing any updates. As these are not supported displays, Apple is unlikely to test updates on them, and it is possible that an update will cause loss of function. It would be wise to wait to hear from others with similar TVs before you decide whether to apply an update. This also means that if you own an unsupported TV, it is possible that you will not be able to get access to future updates that include features that you would like to have.
Frankly, if you have an unsupported TV and are dead-set against replacing it, you probably should consider returning or selling your AppleTV and buy a product, such as the Roku box, that supports your type of TV.

  • Worried that HBONow will replace HBOGo. I have a cable subscription and use Go on my Apple TV every day. Anyone heard anything?

What is the difference between HBO GO® and HBO NOW℠?
HBO GO is HBO's online streaming service, that will remain available at no additional cost to HBO subscribers through their participating television provider.
HBO NOW is a new, standalone online streaming service that is available to all customers with a high-speed internet connection. HBO NOW℠ subscription prices may vary by participating partners.

Is it safe to give her credit card number   expiration date   cryptogram number to Apple for a deposit of a destroyed material that they will replace me?
In fact I gave it by a phone call..

I did exacly the same thing few years ago.  Apple sent me the new charger and an envelope with printed address etc to send back the demaged charger, and suggested me the Company to contact for the dispatch (probably it was UPS not sure).  I do not remember exactly how it worked, if I was charged the price and they accreditd it back to my card few days after reeceiving the not working charger....
Anyway I remember always was fast and perfect.
Of course if you feel more confortable not giving your card number you may forget the matter: at the end of the day it is only a small amount to buy a new charger, if you feel more safe I would not cost you much mnoney...

  • Is It True That Apple Will Not Fix This Flickering Issue?

Very disappointing to read so many postings that Apple techs are saying this problem will not be fixed, thus ruining what had been a great experience for so many. If this is true, this issue warrants public notification.
