Is it against the rules to ask if Apple might improve the iphone functions?

I get al lot of phone pics sent to me and the laborious reference to AT&T's sight where I can go and try to enter a whole bunch of codes to see a simple phone pic .
It is annoying enough to not be able to text photos let alone not be able to see ones sent to me.
Any thoughts that they might upgrade the iphone in this regard?

Anyone who knows for sure would be under NDA not to tell anyone, regardless of the rules on this forum. Anything else is just speculation.

Also complain to AT&T that the link they send could include the necessary codes instead of making you enter them.
Workaround: tell your friends to text to your email address--they send it as a text but you receive it as an email. You can also email such that they receive it as a text. Search the forum for details, they have been given many times.

Well, since you've had the same problem, with three different phones, that all use different size sim cards, it seems pretty obvious the problem is with your carrier/coverage & nothing to do with your phone or sim card.

Is the Iphone really worth getting

I know posting this question on the apple section of the Verizon forum might not be the greatest place, but I really want to know if its worth getting. I have to figure you guys will be biased, so I was hoping you can give me a legitimate wow reason as to what makes the iphone better than similar droid phones.
Personally I have never been a big apple user. I have never had an iphone, or Ipad. I have had an ipod for a couple years now and I will say I have nothing but good things to say about it. However I have looked and played around with many of my friends Iphones and personally I cannot see what makes it so special. Granted I understand its like ground zero for smart phones, but today it seems no different than any other smart phone out there. Also, I feel I am somewhat biased against the Iphone because I feel Siri is the beginning of Skynet.
Jokes aside I am considering the switch, so please tell me what makes this phone so special. Thank you for your help.

It really depends upon the features you want, and what you need the phone to do. I am getting older and can't afford an assistant to help with my memory. Siri is the next best thing. Secondly, I am really intrigued with the advanced abilities of this phone. If I weren't married to a terminally wife, I would not have a landline. She has dementia and cannot learn new things so the "cell phone' is too much for her. Secondly, her emergency medical is attached to the normal landline 911 system. I have had an I phone in the past and was extremely happy with its performance, as well as its environmental footprint. I get so upset when I hear people say that "Apple" is owner of everything, lenux is free and will always be free, and android is based on lenux. Google is propriatory on the android and no one is complaining about that. You even have to have an google based email address for some of the features to work.
Get what you feel you need. Do some research online and make an informed decision.
Take care and as long as you make an informed choice you should be happy with whatever you choose...

I would like to know why isn't work my iphone 4 because I juste did the reinstallation of the rules. I though to do the OS that's all. And now I can't do anything is asking me a new sim card because is cloused the sim card.

This happens when you jailbreak and unofficially unlock your originally locked iPhone to work with another carrier.
Upgrading the iOS re-locks your iPhone to the carrier to which it was originally locked.
Only the carrier to which the iPhone is originally locked can officially unlock the iPhone. If it was a US-bought phone prior to one week ago, IT WILL NOT BE UNLOCKED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

Leliforever, cheek you list of installed add-ons, the Ask toolbar can be installed without the users knowledge.

Down payment against the Internal Order - for Capital Expenditure

Dear friends
I am getting an error while making down payment against the purchase order.
The order of my entries or steps are as follows:
Created one internal order for Capital WIP with budget and availability control activation.
Created one purchase order against a vendor with reference to the above Internal Order.
When I am making the down payment to the vendor through tcode:F-48, the system throwing an error
"Define Cost Elements for Down Payments".
Can any one please explain why this error is coming. When I checked in Internal orders, there is a TCode: OKEP for Define Default Cost Elements for Down Payments.
System is asking for cost element, but where as what ever the down payment we are making is nothing but advance which is current asset. Why system is asking for cost element?
Can any one give me the guidance how to handle the issue.

The reason is when you want the down payment for AUC to be capitalised, then you would need to create cost element for Downpayments.
Normally as per design of SAP, down payment being a Balance Sheet Account (Current Asset as you rightly mentioned) doesnot need / accept an Cost object, as a special case since down payments for AUC needs to be capitalised and hence need to be carried to Controlling (Internal Order) by creating Cost Element for Downpayments.
Go ahead and create the cost element. That would resolve your issue.

Purchase orders manily against the sales orders

My client do purchase orders manily against the sales orders... but to meet the minimumn purchase order quantity or value they club many sales orders in a single purchase order... now is there any way to track for what sales-order-item what purchase-order-item made?? (in SAP B1 2007 B PL7)

By Design ,SAP creates link between SO to PO when you create PO based on SO .
Then you can use TargetDoc which is PO Number and can be seen in row level
If it is disabled , you can enable it through form setting .
I usually ask my user to start with SO . When they are ready to make purchase , they can click on purchase check box on SO and create PO based on SO . This way the link stay as B1design .
The reason of this you can see the PO and (orrange arrow link) which can let you navigate your PO from AR module .
An other workaround ,user defined field can be used at row level and manually link

How to Create New Maintenance Order using IP30 against the deleted one

Dear Sir,
We have an equipment having Monthly Maintenance Schedule . Using IP30 , we had generated Maintenance Order for next 3 months (i.e Jan / Feb / March ) . Due to some change in the Task List , We decided to Delete these earlier generated Maintenance Orders and then generate the fresh Orders usiing IP30 . To set Delete Indicator , we used Tcode IP02 and these Orders were marked with Delete Indicator .
Subsequently using IP30 , we tried to generate fresh Maintenance Orders ( for month Jan / Feb / March ) for this Maintenace Plan. But no fresh Orders are getting generated . On Analysing it further , we find that for this Maintenance Plan ( Tcode IP02) under the tab <Maintenance plan Schedule Call > , against the Jan / feb / March months Sceduling Type/Status is appearing as "Schedule Completed" .
Kindly guide us as how can we generate the fresh Orders .

I would suggest two option for this query:
Option1: You can use the existing (deletion flaged) orders, by deleting all the operation in the created PM order and in order, goto Extras - select the Task list which you have done changes. In this option your exsisting plan is not distrubed.
Option2: If any way you want new PM orders, then Goto schedule of the plan & restart, system will ask wheather to delet/ skip the existing schedule.
Hope this options will help you to take decision.

Powershell Script to Update Central PolicyDefintions Store against the local machine

i've created a powershell script to update my central policydefinitions store against a local machine for example the newest domaincontroller or member server. It can be started with the parameters -source (for the source directory e.g. C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions)
and -destination (for the target directory e.g. C:\Windows\SYSVOL_DFSR\sysvol\domain.local\Policies\PolicyDefinitions).
It checks the source directory for language folders and admx files. Compares the Fileage with the files in the target directory and allows you to replace them. Maybe this script is helpful for one of you and maybe someone can check it and give me some feedback
to make this script better.
Please be very careful with this and try it on your own risk. You should try it in a testenvironment first. Or e.g. against an empty target directory. In the first version the script asks for confirmation for every single change against the target directory.

I just went through this same process.... I changed my credit card, double checked billing info, changed my password, I restored my phone, but the misake I made was I kept restoring it from my back up.... Finally I went to Apple Store.. and sad to say that you have to do a restore, and DO NOT restore from back up.
I used Gmail so I didnt loose contacts or email.. but I did loose all my text messages and history of that.
So, I had the EXACT same problem and it was a software issue.. you have to restore your phone to factory settings and start all over.. BLOWS I know!

In case of billing document cancellation (VF11) the cancelled doc. is not getting automatically cleared against the actual billing doc. no. Each time user has to clear the doc. manually. We have observed this issue after recent patch updation dated 22nd Feb’2014. Till 21st Feb’2014 the cancelled doc. has been cleared automatically against their respective billing documents.

Please chheck SAP Note No. 1259505. It explains two ways in which SAP releases cancellation documents to FI.
OSS NOte 1259505 lists the possible causes from SD side &
OSS Note 309208 lists the possible causes from FI side.
