Is it bad to have a rubber/spec case for your macbook?

If it is safe, even under conditions when it gets too hot, what sort of case do you suggest I get?

Just on principle I do not use any cases for my MBPs. Some people do and that is their choice.
LEDs produce more heat than one might suspect and the aluminum cover serves as a heat sink to dissipate that heat. Certainly it is not nearly as much as generated internally, but there is heat nevertheless. There is no free lunch.

I have acquired windows office 2011 for my macbook but unable to open it. There are currently 3 files in the folder, 1 of which seems to be the actual program which is a hfs file. iv tried looking for programs to help me open it but failed

Well, first, just make sure it's the Mac version and not the Windows version (which indeed would not run on your Mac). You say "Windows Office" which is why I mention it. I think you probably just mean "Microsoft Office" though.
Next, is this on a disk (DVD), or did you purchase and download it from the Microsoft site?

When a external application tries to send an email via Thunderbird i get an error message, roughly translated it says: "Something went wrong with PostMail, error number 2"
My collegues have the same setup, they have no problem what so ever when sending mail via this way. Any tips would be most welcome. Thanks for your time.

If you pruchase iPhoto for your Mac from the App Store you can use it on any Mac that you own
iPhoto for the iPad is a completely different app and requires a different purchase.

My requirement is to do a validation in MIRO (Invoice Verification) transaction, when the user enters the PO details ( T.code - MIRO ) and if the material group in the line item belongs to specific set of material groups, then I want to show a popup stating to choose a different GL account.I am searching for a suitable User exit to implement the above change which I have mentioned. I have just bought Logic studio for my macbook pro, do i need to buy a midi keyboard?

I don't know how someone can purchase a $500 piece of professional MIDI/Audio software and even ask this question.
Of course you need a MIDI keyboard, unless you're going to work with canned loops in which case Garageband would be -more- than enough for you.
In fact, Garageband is a subset of Logic and is capable of producing professional grade output and is a perfect place to start learning about MIDI and Audio.
As a long time Logic user I admit it's difficult to see people using Logic without having a base of knowledge to build upon.
If you're going to use Logic you need to read the manuals and use the online help, there is so much good info there, it will give you an understanding of how Logic works and what it is designed to do.
Logic is not a hand holder, It will not walk you through how to use it, it's not a Mac program per se, you have to know what you're doing to learn Logic effectively. The best way to do this is to read manuals, watch tutorials and come up with a short list of questions that can be answered effectively... in short, intelligent questions.
Random questions of "what's this", "how do I do (fill in the blank)" can give you an immediate answer but leave you clueless how that answer was arrived at. Knowing how to arrive at your own answers is a key to understanding and using Logic effectively.
Not ranting specifically at you LeGringe... just a general rant to new users who've aquired Logic without much former experience in MIDI/Audio...etc....etc.
