Do you not maintain a back up? This is basic and should always be done.

  • Can you merge 2 files together from your desktop rather than going through Adobe Pro?

I have Adobe Pro and I am constantly merging PDF's daily and it is rather annoying to go in to Adobe Pro, drag the two files and save them again. I feel there should be a way that the user can drag files from their desktop to other pdf files and they attach themselves.

If you have Adobe Pro you should be able to right click over the file and see “Combine Files in Acrobat” select the link then the add files screen will come up. Now you can drag the other files you need. Then select “Combine Files”.  The only drawback I have found if you need your files accessible you will have to update them in the combine file even if they are accessible before you combine the files.

Follow the instructions here or here; using the first set of instructions then requires syncing the second device with the iTunes library containing the content.

  • Downloading music from your iPod

Is there a way to download songs in your ipod nano 4th to your itunes? I know you can download songs from itunes to my ipod but can I do the same in reverse?
I have tunes I downloaded from a friends comptuer to my iPod and I wanted to add them to my computer to store them in my music files. I evan thought about doing a back up of the discs on my friends computer then adding the discs to my computer but I did not want to loose the music I have already in my music files. If you have any ideas that might help that would be great.
    Thanks

Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
However it appears that no playlists or any other info such as ratings/last played etc will transfer.
If this is important to you, you may want to use other options.
There's Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music and playlists etc from iPod to iTunes.

  • How do i download apps from my ipod touch

im trying to download oovoo to my ipod touch and i cant figure out how exactly to do it

Unless you initially setup the account without a credit card, Apple requires a valid payment method even for free apps. You can:
    - Try purchasing and redeeming an iTunes gift card,
    - Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
    Note:
    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

  • Im trying to download apps from itunes but it cannot push through. It happened after i update my software to ios 6. Can someone please help me resolve this in my ipad? Thanks!

Hi im trying to download apps in my ipad but it cannot push through and remained waiting. This happened after i updated my software to ios 6. Can someone please help me?

You may not get a response as you are shouting at everyone.
All caps indicates shouting, is considered rude, and is difficult to read.
Many will not read such posts.
Try turning off you caps lock and asking again.

  • HT1296 Does anyone know how to transfer songs from your ipod touch to a new computer?

I've already transferred the purchased songs to the new itunes library. I'm just having trouble getting the rest of the songs, that are from my old itunes library, onto my new computer. I don't know if this matters or not, but I have a 2nd generation ipod, and I'm using a PC.

  • How do you delete an app from your iPhone? Deleting it from iTunes is not working.

Deleting the app from iTunes when my iPhone is hooked up the my MacBook isn't working. How do I get rid of apps I don't like?

On the springboard, locate the app you want to delete. For this example, I’ll use WeatherBug.
Tap and hold down the icon of the application you want to delete. After a few seconds your screen will start to “wiggle” and an X will appear next to each of the apps you’ve installed via the App Store.
Tap the X next to the icon of the app you want to remove. When prompted, selectDelete.
    And now it’s gone.
If the application is listed in your iTunes Applications as well, you’ll want to remove it from there – or else it will re-install the next time you sync. Alternately you can keep the app in your iTunes Applications, and set iTunes not to sync all applications, just the ones you want to keep. See the Applications tab of your device the next time it’s connected in iTunes for syncing options.

  • Podcast problem -- "difficulty downloading episodes from your feed"

I've entered the URL " http://feeds.feedburner.com/MirrorOfIntimacy " and keep getting an error message "We had difficulty downloading episodes from your feed."
I read through other discussions, and changed the URL in Tumblr from https to http, but I'm still getting the error message. Any help?

The meta tags are irrelevant: only an image embedded in the audio file is read by iTunes. The feed contains all the information, and must be properly constructed. Yours is made in Tumblr, and I would expect it could create a podcast feed but it isn't doing so at the moment. I can onlly refer you to their Help files to find out how to construct an iTunes-compliant feed.
You may find my 'get you started' page helpful - it contains a sample basic feed, and though I'm certainly not suggesting you should hand-write the feed (a process littered with pitfalls) it will show you what a feed should look like.
