Normally I just take the current special that a cell phone company is offering and lock in for two years. So far that has worked out fine. But if I decide to buy a new iPhone at full price, does it work out to be cheaper in the end?

This depends, are you on an old voice and data plan where the company over charges you from day one to pay for subsidized cell phones. They you should definately buy a subsidized cell phone. You are already over paying for service to cover the subsidized phones cost. If you don't buy a subsidized phone every two years, the overcharge is just more profit for the cellular company. Be aware they will charge you a $40 activation fee just because they can.
If you have moved to one of the new voice/data/text plans where you are expected to bring your own device, then buying the phone outright make sense. Here again, you will be charged the dreaded $40 activation fee. With AT&T, you can do their NEXT plan and pay for the phone over 20 or 24 months. And the NEXT plan waives the $40 activation fee.

Legality aside (I'm not a lawyer and have no opinion on the matter) in order to make a purchase of an iPhone 5 you would need to travel to a country where they are for sale and purchase it there. Be sure to get one that is officially unlocked or you would not be able to use it with your cell carrier. Be sure that your carrier supports use of the iPhone before you buy. Also note that the warranty of the iPhone is only valid in the country of purchase.
Appe does not ship outside of the countries where it sells the phones.

Hello, as an addition:
In your case I would download a really new trial version of your program(s) in question and change it/them into a "real" version later, BUT because you said, that you "re-installed" already, so it will become a little bit more complicated. It would be necessary that you have to use "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool" as Keith wrote.
Here an advice for that (The order varies depending on your individual needs. Please read all my proposals first, so you can better choose the first step:)
1. Maybe you have to activate/deactivate, so please have a look there:

2. Sometimes, we know in the meantime, the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
3. Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. As much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

I feel as though I am forced into repairing the iphone before I can backup the information (photos, videos, contacts). If the apple ID on the device is the same as the one on my iMac I do not understand why I have to unlock the iphone by typing in the 4 digit passcode. Okay folkes, you were right and I was wrong.. I admit it. But I was pretty mad though when I tryed to backup the last few contacts I needed for work and couldn't do so. Worst things are when something gets broken (by me or whatever) when there is an emergency. I needed the contacts off of that phone real fast and couldn't do it, thats what got me real mad. And btw I am a Russian living in Moscow and instead of having an official Apple store we have shopes called ReStore who resell apple devices with ridiculous prices, same thing with the repairs. What have you tried to fix it ? If you haven't already done so then see if any of the following fix it :
- log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in
- close the iTunes store app via the multitasking bar and see if it works when you re-open it : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the iTunes store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
- soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

Connect your 3GS in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:

This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). Thanks for the question. When it comes to iPhone, very little is stored on the SIM card. Contacts, Photos, etc can be backed up with iTunes or iCloud and then transferred to a new device. For information on how to do so, see this resource:
