Is it compatible with Netgear products

im thinking of buying airport extreme and link it to my netgear dgs834gv3
is it compatible
and is it easy to set up

is it compatible
It all depends on what you mean by "link".
Yes, if you plan to connect the AirPort Extreme to the Netgear product using a wired Ethernet connection.
No, if you plan to connect the AirPort Extreme and have it "extend" the wireless network from the Netgear product using wireless only.

My MacBook died and my hard drive was removed, are my existing files only compatible with Apple products? Are the files encrypted with Apple OS or am I able to import my files to Microsoft programs?

The drive as a whole can’t be read on a PC without installing software such as MacDrive on it.
The answer varies for individual document files; some file formats can be read by Windows software, while others can't.

  • Is Yosemite is compatible with CS6 products especially with the Design Std Suite and where to download the updates to Yosemite

    HI,
I need to know if Yosemite is compatible with CS6 products especially with the Design Std Suite (PS,Acrobat,INDesign,Illustrator) and where to download the updates to Yosemite.
    I will appreciate your help

CS6 applications are supported however I do not recommend that you install Yosemite on an existing system as an in place upgrade.
You should deactivate the software, back up all of your data, and then proceed to do a clean install of the operating system.
After that you can install your applications and restore your data.

  • Is Yosemite compatible with Kodak production planning and workflow software like Prinergy Workflow?

Is the new OS 10.10 system compatible with Kodak production planning and workflow software? like Prinergy Workflow (incl. the Workshop and Workspace user interfaces as well as the ColorFlow and Preps Client) and Prinergy Evo Client,

    Steven,
Thank you for your quick reply and information there in. The video is very nice too. Great angles and composition.
So I guess, I'm going to have swap my drive and re-install my OS when the machine arrives.
I'm not going to be able to capture directly to my desktop (due to poratability reasons). So is there I way in Premire CS3 to uncompress the HDV from the camera and store it in my HDD in uncompressed format? I don't mind having to do this extra step each time if the post production experience is going to be better.
I've heard a lot about Aspect HD from you and others here as well as other forums. I'm not very video savvy yet and don't understand a lot of the vocabulary used :). I've been to their website and don't get what their products are supposed to give me either (I guess their audience understands exactly what they are saying).
What I do get is it decompresses the MPEG 2 to saves it to yout HDD for editing purposes. However, I would have thought the Premier Pro CS3 would have that capability as part of the product, no?
I'd also like to use footage that is not HDV as well as photos/images (composits) but still retain the final cut to be HDV quality. Is this possible and if so, what does it do to the editing experience/performance?
Will I be able to output the final cut back to my camera's Mini DV tape (without having to buy Aspect HD)?

Apple did make some security changes, and many 3rd-party NASs weren't ready.
I don't know about that particular one, or the exact message you got, but check out #C16 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting.

  • Opening PDF in Designer not compatible with other products

Is It Possible to Create a Form in Any of adobe product(illustrator,Photoshop.....) - and then Edit it in Livecycle designer ? ( I need it to open as if I created it in Designer -  with tables and buttons )
The Problem is that when opening in Designer a PDF file that was created in another product (e.g: illustrator) - i'm getting a window with 2 choices(view print screen):
when choosing the first one(Create interactive form.....) - the form opens as an image and is unusable
when choosing the second one(Create An Interactive form...) -  the tables are converted into lines - so it is unusable, also the fonts change and everything moves - so the form doesn't look the same.
    Thanks In Advance,
    Yar

    Hi,
Starting off a form this way can limit the functionality of LC Designer.
You have a couple of choices.
[1] If you go to the original document (Illustrator) and export as a JPEG.
In LC start off a new / blank form and go to the Master Page. Drag in an "Image" (not imageField) and then in the Object / Field tab you can browse to the location where the JPEG is stored (tick embed file). Resize the image to fill the page.
Then in the Design view you can add textfields; numericfields; buttons; tables etc. over this background. You would set the border and fill of each field to none, so that the user has the experience of filling in your original Illustrator file.
This is pretty much the same look and feel as the first choice in your screen shot below; however it maintains all of the functionality of LC.
[2] You can also create a form in Acrobat. If you import the original Illustrator file, you can add fields and buttons, with no fill or border (as above).
[3] Start off with a blank form and recreate your original design in LC Designer from scratch.
[4] I think that you can add fields and buttons(?) using InDesign, but I'll be honest I have not used this feature.
If you are going to use LC Designer, then I think options 1 or 3 are your best option.
    Good luck,
    Niall

  • Is CS5 extended compatible with Epson products? I cannot select printer settings.

I've had this problem for a very long time with multiple Epson printers. This problem only applies to Adobe products as other image editing software work fine. The printer settings button does not work in Photoshop so I cannot select paper type or any of the other settings. Adobe blame the problem on Epson and Epson blame the problem on Adobe but the bottom line is, I'm left holding the bag as I paid a lot of money for these products and they don't work together. At least Epson will answer the phone and try to help. Adobe do "NOTHING" for you! I've been on here before with this problem with my last Epson Printer. It was a Stylus Photo 1270 and I was told by some wise guy that "it was a 13 year old printer, what do I expect." Well I have a brand new Epson R 3000 and I have the same problem. I'm using CS5 Extended and have all the latest drivers. Here is a link talking about this problem but it doesn't give any solution that works for me: Print settings option unavailable in Print dialog box | Photoshop CS5. I've already done everything it says here! Typical of Adobe ducking their head in the sand! I can get the print settings on other applications like Preview (no problem) which Epson claim, proves the problem lies with Adobe. An Adobe tech. told me on here (last year) that the problem was with Epson as they have to write the driver software to the application (Photoshop), yet Epson claim that the problem is not in the driver but in the application itsalf. Adobe will just bury their head in the sand and act like nobody is home!
Really sick of this crap, neil.

Thanks for getting back to me Gene. I will give that a try if I continue to have problems, but I have found a workaround solution, or at least discovered a glitch. Like I said, when I click the "Print Settings..." button, it fails to open up a Print Settings window, so I have no way of choosing the paper etc.. However, If I switch it from "Photoshop Manages Colors" to "Printer Manages Colors" and then back again, I can then click the "Print Settings..." button and it will open up a Print Settings window (go figure?). If I were to guess I would put the blame on Adobe's printer interface, not the print drivers from Epson. Like I said, this problem has been haunting me for a while on numerous printers. It's intermittent so sometimes it works alright and I forget about it, then it comes back, but now I may have discovered a workaround.
    Cheers, neil.

  • Compatible with Netgear Access point?

I plan to operate some wireless G security cameras with a netgear WG102 Access point with their optional 2.4 GHZ outdoor antena. I will also purchase a new airport extreme and a usb hub to share a printer a external drive from lacie.
Plan to hook the extreme to the access point via a crossover cable and the external antena will reach all the cameras up to 500 feet away.
Has anyone tried this and can the access point setup with the extreme?
I really wish the extreme had a optional external omni directional 9 dbi antena.

Your speed problems might not be problems at all. It might be due to the specifications of your access points. A normal G router runs 54 mbps wirelessly and a B access point runs at 11 mbps wirelessly.
And the brand new PC... where is it closest to? To the Netgear or the Linksys?

  • Oracle 9.2.0.8 compatiblity with Planning 9.3.1.1.5

Is oracle 9.2.0.8 database version compatible with Hyperion products 9.3.1.x
we have essbase 9.3.1.3,shared services 9.3.1,planning 93115 . and right now we use oracle 9.2.0.6 and are going to migrate to 9.2.0.8
    Is this new version compatible?
    Thanks

This is the gospel as far as compatibility for 9.3.1 goes:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10530_01/doc/epm.931/hsys9_install_start_here.pdf
This being said it doesn't specifically mention 9.2.0.6 or 9.2.0.8 being supported. I'd say your technically on a non-supported platform anyways I doubt it will change how it interacts on a minor "dot" release.
Someone may be on this version although a lot of people will be on 10g and 11g.

  • Need external monitor for better visibility.  Which ones are compatible with  MacBook Pro?, Need external monitor for better visibility.  Which ones are compatible with  MacBook Pro?

I need to set up a home office using my MacBook Pro.  Does anyone know of brands of flat-screen monitors that I can plug into my  laptop in order to enlarge documents for better visibiilty?  I have 2 perfectly good flat screen monitors that work with Windows but they have no drivers compatible with Apple products.
    Thanks.

Apple has a 27" monitor with 2560 x 1440 resolution.  It has everything going for it but it has a price of $999 (ouch).  Check with OWC, they specialize in Apple peripherals, have decent prices and a good reputation.

  • Is DASYLab compatible with Yokogawa MW100 Data acquicition system?

Im using a Yokogawa MW100 DAQ and are intrested in using DASYLab for more trouble free signal presentation. Is DASYLab compatible with Yokogawa products? I've tried to search for Yokogawa drivers but failed.

I don't know of a driver for it. But, if you have the Modbus option, DASYLab 12 will support that.
    From their web site:
A large data acquisition system of up to 360 channels can be assembled using multiple MW100s and standard MODBUS TCP Ethernet communications. When equipped with the /M1 math option, the MW100 can acquire up to 300 channels of external data from additional MW100 units or other devices such as a PLC using MODBUS TCP communications. This provides a total system capacity of 360 channels (60 built-in measure channels + 300 external).
Serial MODBUS RTU communications (RS- 232 or RS-422A/485) can be ordered as a separate option with the same capability.

Measurement Computing (MCC) has free technical support. Visit www.mccdaq.com and click on the "Support" tab for all support options, including DASYLab.

  • Is the new MacBook pro with nvidia 650m compatible with autodesk alias and 3ds?

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the new MacBook pro is compatible with autodesk products?
Alias requires open gl 2.00. Is this supported with the graphics card?

The GT650 should be compatible with OpenGL 3.x or even 4.x depending upon Apple's drivers. As for the software in general it should work if compatible with Lion and 10.7.4. However, the software cannot yet take full advantage of the Retina display.

  • Why isn't my ios7 compatible with iOS 10.5.8 this is ridiculous I spent a lot of money on all my apple products just to have to buy an iOS upgrade to sync my music

All my products are apple I just bought iPhone 5 which is ios7 my iMac is osx 10.5.8.  Apple are you kidding me that I have to upgrade to a new osx just to upload my music from my osx 10.5.8???? Must you selfishly greedily make me upgrade just to upload my songs from iTunes? Bert dissappointed in you apple.  Why not just make iTunes compatible with the ios7????? Really?? You need to fix this problem make iTunes from my osx 10.5.8 compatible with my iPhone ios7.   ***? Frustrating that an apple product is not compatable with another apple product which I spent ridiculous amounts of money for both my iMac and iPhone 5 isn't it enough that I spent ober 2000$ on my iMac and my iPhone just to have it not able to upload my songs??? What do u suggest I do buy snow leopard? Really? If you don't fix this problem how can you expect anyone to keep buying your product I mean come on I know marketing strategies and whatnot but if I spent 2000 + on my iPhone and IMAc should it not at least allow me to use my iTunes with my brand new iPhone and why not just make a dl for 10.5.8 do you really need me to buy snow leapord? Really? What is the meaning of this it is very frustrating seem like you guys purposefully make me and everyone spend more money for no reason.

    1) The people responding in this forum are just other Apple product users like you, not Apple itself.  Apple Support Communities is primarily an end-user to end-user (i.e., users like you helping other users) technical issue support feature. Feedback will truly get more attention if you send it using:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html
    2)  At some stage developers decide it isn't worth the expense of supporting older technology. If I had my way you could still connect iOS7 to OS9, but Apple has decided to make the limit OS 10.6.8  Nor do I like that I can't get spare parts for my 33 year old car...
    Suggestions...
If you are not going to always be running the newest technology always read software requirements before doing any upgrades.  I run a 12 year old computer and yes, I see there are things I can't run (many), but I also then avoid buying any incompatible new technology.  The system requirements are printed on the side of the box (albeit in 9 point medium gray font on light gray box   )  Do not expect the Apple Store people to check with you about your computer first.  I bet half of them were still in grade school when my computer was produced and none of them could possibly imagine anybody would run anything older than 6 years (probably not even that, more like 4).
Why not buy Snow Leopard?  Of course you do not say what model computer you are using, but if you can run Snow Leopard on your computer there's no advantage to staying with Leopard.  Snow Leopard costs $20 which is minimal compared to you now no longer being able to sync your phone.

I'd swear I posted almost this identical post two hours ago...
If you can't/don't want to upgrade your computer, you have 30 days to return the phone I believe.
