When trying to click on any of the links, they do not seem to work at all, which is really bugging me. All I want to do is use my new iPod Touch, which I currently cannot do.
Also, the page i pasted above is NOT in the correct iTunes style/format, and there is no Search Bar above it, etc. It is just a blank page with exactly what I pasted.

My iphone works!!! But it wasn't from rebooting (although rebooting gave me the idea to try Plan B, so thx very much for inspiration). I rebooted several times and nothing happened. Then, I decided to download the FindMyiPhone app (in case that had something to do with it). I downloaded the app from the app store on my iphone--NOT through itunes on my computer. (Tried that and failed).
After I downloaded the app, I had to go into iphone Settings "Mail, Contacts.." and key in my Mobile Me info. (Also, make sure Push notifications is ON; this is also in Settings) Next, I enabled bluetooth and then tried to connect to our wifi home network. As soon as iphone "discovered" the home network, I opened itunes, and the first screen asked me how I wanted to set up my phone.Yippie!
I don't know if the FindMyiPhone app had anything to do with it or if the iphone just wanted me to key in all of the MobileMe/itunes account stuff, so you'll have to figure out that one for yourself. I would be willing to bet, though, that this process will work with ipods as well as iphones.
Now, if I can just get rid of this splitting headache...

Help?? Can't get iPod Touch to play in my 2013 Nissan Sentra

I have a 16GB iPod Touch, model MB531LL, and I cannot get it to play in my new 2013 Nissan Sentra. All of the iPod Touch contents show up on the dashboard display, but no sound comes through the stereo. When I plug my iPhone into the car it plays (although strange things happen sometimes, like podcasts initially playing at double chipmunk-sounding speed), but not the iPod Touch. Has anybody experienced a similar situation & found a way to fix it?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

free app . I really don't know what to do . I have no selection as 'NONE' only credit card selection.

Will restoring my ipod touch fix the crashing problems?

I have an ipod touch 4th generation and every day I have to turn it off and on at least once because it starts to crash a lot. I can't be the time I want in an app because it crashes. I want to know if I restore the ipod and start it as a new one will fix the problem, or do I just keep turning it off and on every day until I get a new one?

How To Get Ipod Touch 2nd Gen to work with 64 bit Vista / Vista Ultimate

Okay, so I just got me a 2nd Gen Ipod Touch for X-Mas..I decided to take a break and get this puppy installed on my HP Tablet. Like many of you, I struggled in frustrations. I hate Apple Support. Notice their method to resolve all of their issues in regards to Itunes not working or Touch not working is to just REINSTALL ITUNES....doesnt solve anything. I have a solution.
For many of you, this may work, for those that are experiencing the same problem, please read below.
What I am using:
HP Tablet TX1000
Platform: Windows Vista - Ultimate 64 Bit.
I downloaded the 64 bit version of Itunes 8.02...hoping the thing will work, and still after plugging in my brand new ipod... i get an error message saying.
"The IPOD you are using is not recognized by this version of Itunes, please delete and reinstall with 64 bit version of Itunes."
However I did install the 64 bit version of ITUNES on my Vista. Before you guys delete and reinstall again. Do this first to confirm that my solution will help.
Open up Itunes, go to help, click on Run Diagnostics. Select only, Ipod/Iphone Connectivity tests and hit next.
If your Apple Mobile Device Service is RED, it means its not installed or not activated. Please read apple forums for the reactivation of AMDS. *If you are like me and did that help, and realized its not installed,* something on vista is preventing the install.
Do the following.
1) Delete ITUNES Completely. When asked for a restart, click No.
2) Go to the C:\Program Files\Common Files and look for the Apple Folder and delete that puppy too.
3) Redownload the 64 bit Installed and save to your desktop. You will need this later. DONT INSTALL NOW.
4) Go to the Start/Circle Menu and on the bottom, type RUN in the Search and select the Run Program.
4) Type msconfig and hit enter.
5) When the Program pops up, in the General, DE-select normal startup and select. SELECTIVE START UP. and deselect/leave blank START UP ITEMS
6) Move over to the Start Up Tab, DESELECT ANY VIRUS SCAN PROGRAM You Have Running.
7) Click Apply then OKAY, and Exit that window.
8) Now RESTART your computer.
9) Reinstall ITUNES as done before.
10) Go to HELP...run the diagnostics as before and your Apple Mobile Device should be green Now.
11) Close that window. Connect your IPOD.
12) iTUNES should now recognize your IPOD.
After it works. Go back to MSCONFIG...and on General, put Normal Start Up. Click Okay. Restart.
Hope that works.
If IPOD is still not recognized, then its a driver issue and I dont know.
The problem I was having was due to Apple Mobile Device Services not being installed.

This is an Answer for a Possible Solution. It worked for me and is still working. The issue I was having with my 64 bit vista, was Apple Mobile Device Service was not being installed, I dont know why. But I disabled any active running program through MSCONFIG, to allow a clean uninterrupted install of ITUNES 8.02. This allowed AMDS and drives from ITUNES to install. Hope this works for most of you.
APPLE, please review your Support Methods. Re-installing doesnt help an issue that resulted from installing.

I have just bought an ipod touch and it will not connect to my wireless system at home, first time on ipod, no idea why it wont accept my password, internet provider is virgin netgear wi fi on windows xp pc. will it ever work or is it just apple and windows will always have problems

Have you tried:

Can't get ipod touch to sync manually!

I have a new 16 gig ipod touch, which I'd like to sync with content on both my home and work computers. I have an iMac G5 at home (running 10.5) and a Macbook at work (running 10.4.10). I also have the latest version of itunes on both machines.
I've synced with all of my music from my HOME computer, but when I try to sync with just the video content from my WORK computer (I have 2 season's worth of The Office that I bought from the itunes store on it!), I get a message that "All existing songs, movies and TV shows will be removed from your ipod and replaced with TV shows from your iTunes library." I can't seem to get it to manually update any content, even with the "Manually Manage Music and Videos" box checked!
What gives? Thanks in advance for any help...

Someone correct me if I am wrong... But I believe you can only have one computer as the "Home" for an iPod (touch or otherwise).
If you want to get the videos off of your work computer, I would burn them on a CD (or if you have a portable HDD.. copy them there) then copy them to your home computer add them to your library on your home computer iTunes and sync.

Since updating to IOS5 many song artist are missing. I set up iTunes to sort on song artist but when I sync, my ipod tyrs to sort by album artist not song artist. How can I get the ipod touch to sort by song artist???? Most of my Song artists show up under Various which is the entry for album artist. Please help! I have aver 9000 songs with this problem. If I can't solve this issue, I will have to return to using my Toshiba Gigabeat which allows me to sort be album artist. IOS-5 was a step backwards.

So is all the music on your iPod touch purchased from the iTunes store? If so, you don't need to "transfer it" to your phone. You can sign your phone into the same AppleID as your iPod and just re-download the music.
