Is it illegal for iTunes to access all my passwords(FB,TW,etc)

I have made a backup to my Iphone5(encrypted), i did not put a password to it, but when i try to Restore from that backup, it asked me a password, i searched on web and i find that this password was the one from my Facebook account(it is not stored in Keychain or enywhere else), how did my FB password could be used on my iPhone BACKUP? Is this a bug or something illegal?

I was wondering if it's possible that someone was able to obtain all that information through my MacBook Pro .
Anything is possible, but that's highly unlikely. There's no known malware capable of infecting the version of Mac OS X that your profile indicates you are running.
Undoubtedly, your online accounts were hacked, and this gave the hacker access to other accounts. Change all the passwords immediately. Be sure to use strong passwords (longer is more important than complex!), use different passwords on every site and use some kind of password manager to keep track of them (such as the built-in iCloud Keychain or the third-party 1Password app).
For your Apple ID, see:

  • How to show iMovies in iPhoto (for iTunes to access for AppleTv and mobile)

I have read a few posts on this but cannot find a definitive answer...
If you import movies into iPhoto, iMovies can access them. But if you import into iMovies, it seems iPhoto cannot access them, which means iTunes cannot access them to stream to AppleTV or sync with my iPhone and iPad, as iTunes does not see iMovies.
Because I have a DV Camcorder I have to import my home movies to iMovie which gives me this above problem in that I cannot see them in iPhoto/iTunes/AppleTv.
So am I right in thinking the best way to have all applications see my movies is to export them from iMovie into iPhoto as follows:-
    1) Rip to iMovies from the Camcorder
    2) Find the files in Finder
    3) Import into iPhoto
    4) Delete the originals from iMovie
Then I should be able to see the newly imported files in iPhoto in iMovie AND iTunes??
I cant find or think of an alternate solution.
    Thanks

I've decided to give the following a go...
Basically I originally wanted to use iPhoto for movies and photos so I have them all in one place and because I think Albums, Smartfolders etc. are great. Movies go hand in had with photos of the same event. But I also wanted them in iTunes to sync. with iPad, iPhone and play via Apple TV.
The file sizes from camcorder videos got me thinking I don't really want the massive files in iPhoto/iTunes/AppleTV etc. So have now decided to use iMovie as the library for the original large files, from which I can edit and make some compilations etc. then export those new movies of lower filesize (mp4?) into iPhoto for use with iTunes, Apple TV, iPhone and iPad.
I decided that when I finish importing I may look at putting the iMovie library with original DVs onto an external drive (due to filesize, if this is possible). So when I want to use iMovie to import and edit and make movies I will plug in the external hard drive where they all are, do my stuff, then can unplug and put away. That way I do not need to delete the originals due to filesize (I did not want to have to re-import from the camcorder again in future so do want them stored somewhere).
It also means I dont have every single video I shot in iPhoto, iTunes etc., not all of them are good.
Then my main computer with the iPhoto library has all my created and edited and new format movies to store for use with iTunes, Apple TV etc.
So I think this sounds like a good plan for me.
iMovie -> Original movie library manager (external drive due to filesize)
iPhoto -> Photos and edited movies library manager (Mac drive for AirPlay and mobile sync)

  • Complaint! I purchased a solitaire game pack and cannot download ? it, apparentliy because I haven't paid $24.99 for ITunes Cloud access??? Game from another site but is posted on ITunes. I tried theport a problem link, and it's unavailable :(

The game won't download. Went to ICloud for ITunes and can't access, they want $24.99 (for a $2.99 game access???) Tried Apple help, with pauses while I assume they were helping someone else, was told it was ITunes problem and couldn't help me but gave me a link to 'wonderful' ITunes help.  The game is apparentliy from GRL games and the link undeneath the name of game saying "report a problem' did not work either.  I am not that computer literate and feel like I need to be to just get help from these apple sites.  Also I do not have an IPhone or IPad or any other tablet to load games one. Just want a simple solitaire game to pay on computer.

Also I do not have an IPhone or IPad or any other tablet to load games one. Just want a simple solitaire game to pay on computer.
Then you cannot use any apps/games purchased using iTunes.
You need to use App store under the Apple menu (not using iTunes).

  • Second user account cannot load music to iTunes. I've confirmed permission for Itunes folders on ALL accounts and this still does not work!  Any other suggestions?

I'm opened every iTunes Media folder found on this Mac to Everyone for R&W access and still get this message of 'you don't have write access for you iTunes Media folder......'  This is extremely frustrating!

  • Can I move my daughter off my account by creating a new one for her and have all her apps/data/music/etc. move to her new account?

I want to split off my daughter from my apple account and set up her own.  Once she has her own account she would like to have her apps/data/music, etc. on her iPhone and iPad under the new account as it was under mine.  Can I set her up a separate account and then move her apps/data/music, etc., to her new account?  If so how do we do this and what are the dangers/pifalls of doing this (if any)?

You can migrate her to a separate iCoud account if you want, but existing purchased media (apps, music, etc.) will still be tied to the existing ID.  Purchased media is permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them.
If you want to move her to a separate iCloud account, you can do that and still continue to share the same ID for iTunes purchases.  The ID you use for iTunes does not have to be the same as the one you use for iCloud.  To do this, start by saving any photo stream photos she wants to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow, then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  If she is syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to her so she can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in her new account.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; your devices will not be effected by this), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password when prompted.  Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your her account and choose Merge to upload the data.
Once you are both on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account.

  • HT2731 How do I make a new pc my main pc for itunes without losing all of my current stuff?

I originally created my itunes account on a Mac that I have sold.  I want to make the new pc I have the main computer for my itunes account.  When I try and sync, it tells me that I am going to lose all of my current music, apps, etc.  Is there a way to do this so that I dont lose all of my information?

See this migrate iTunes library post.
The alternative is to sync from whichever computer you wish, but that means the current data on the device will be removed and replaced with whatever is in that computer's library and it then becomes the new "home" computer for the device. If you migrate the library properly the new computer is seen as "home" so only changes need to be synced and you don't lose content, playlists, ratings, etc.

lost a bunch of my music couple thousand songs....is there an easy way to have itunes list all exlamation point songs.

Generally setting a common Album title and Album Artist will fix split albums.
For compilations of tracks by different artists set the album artist to Various Artists and also tick Album is a compilation of songs by various artists.

    thanks

I'm sorry, but I also have that problem!/4.5.5/images/emoticons/sad.gif|_mce_src=/4.5.5/images/emoticons/sad.gi f|___jive_emoticon_name=sad|jivemacro=emoticon|class=jive_macro jive_emote|src=/4.5.5/images/emoticons/sad.gif!. It only seems to happen with iTunes 8, though. Not any of the earlier versions. I've been trying to find a solution for days and I've been looking at a lot of apple support discussions, but no solution has been found yet. I tried to update it once, and I had to reinstall my whole eMac with the original formatting discs! Do you have an eMac? Because if you have an iMac, then it will work.

  • If I clear the computer that I was using for iTunes to backup all of my phones will I lose everything even if I am getting a MacBook?

i Don't want to lose all of my files and photos from this computer if I clear it when i get a macbook.. Will everything tranafter over from the cloud or will everything be gone.. Please help me!!!

If you have data you want to transfer to a new Mac, Migration Assistant will let you transfer your files during the first time you turn on your new Mac, so you just have to follow the steps. See -> Move your data to a new Mac - Apple Support
After using Migration Assistant you will get all your photos, files and your iTunes library, so your devices will sync as usual too.

  • How do I change the credit card on the billing for iTunes Store so that I can purchase music etc.?

How do I access billing on my Iphone5  in iTunes so I can change the credit card I had listed for charges to a new credit card? The ccard listed currently in the account is no longer valid?

You should be able to tap on your account id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and select 'view Apple id' on the popup, an on your account's screen there should be a payment information link
