Is it just me?? Facebook pushes me to App Store. More and more advert exposure
Ok, so I'm browsing Facebook and then all of a sudden I'm in the App Store looking at some game or William hill betting apps.
It seems to me more and more adverts are being pushed to me, not only on iOS, but on osx too.
I haven't long been an apple consumer (3yrs of so) and I was just starting to like the fact it different, and now it seems if I want to use my iPhone, I'm going to have to put up with being stopped from what ever I'm doing, and having apps and other suggestions pushed in my face.

Just what IS the procedure for App Store review (and resubmit)?
So when I submit an app for the first time I understand why there would be a 1 week, even 2 week wait for someone at Apple to review it. Actually, it's quite a luxury to have Apple experts to review and test an app for me.
Last time I did this, in about 10 days after submission they spotted a relatively minor issue (there wasn't an alert panel when there was no internet connection and the user tried a search). OK fine. So I implemented one.
Another 10 days or so later I get another rejection, this time for another minor issue - one that I was able to fix in about 10 minutes of coding. A total of 15 minutes after getting the rejection email from Apple, the new binary was submitted.
Do I wait another 10 days again?
Is it the same person who reviews the "revisions" at least?
Isn't there a better way?
A 10-day turnaround for even the smallest incremental fix, with potentially a different person reviewing the app each time (and do they do a "full" review each time?) seems awfully inefficient ... not to mention frustrating.
Does anyone have any (real) insights as to how the process works?
Thanks,Search this forum - your question has been answered before. In a nutshell Apple has no idea what you changed when you resubmit a fix for a rejected app. So it goes back to the end of the line. I'd bet 9.5 of the 10 days your app was just sitting in a queue waiting to be looked at.
But each time you submit, someone must do a full regression test because they have no idea what you might have changed. I know it's frustrating. It would be nice to get one rejection with a list of all the little things instead of getting rejected on the first flaw. Wait 10 days - oops, another minor flaw.
But it sure is good incentive to test the heck out of your own app. As a single developer it's the hardest part (at least for me). I know my app inside and out. It's best to get a 2nd set of eyes. A non-developer is even better. Get a real user. They will point out all the little things like a missing alert or what not. As the developer you don't always worry about such a small detail. But Apple is big on user experience. Think like a user.

Need help please I just bought this iPad today and I factory reset it and then I plugged into my laptop and downloaded the latest software I went and purchased a app store card and a iTunes card but when I try to download apps it won't let me if anyone can help with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. I just purchased two books in the app store , unfortunately they are in German . Is there any way I can get a refund , an Ibook translator or a link to convert ibooks to pdf so I can translated it??

I bought a MBP 13 and I got the £70 App Voucher for being a student, I now want to return the MBP how can I do that? can I just pay the £70 for the app store voucher or what do i need to do?
ThanksIf you have redeemed the voucher for something separate from the computer, then it's a non-issue. If you redeemed it as a price reduction for the computer, then they will return only what you paid less the coupon.

I just purchased Mountain Lion on the app store, put in new credit card and agreed to terms then nothing happend. How do I know if I purchased this upgrade?
Sometimes if you make a purchase for the first time, use a new billing method (ie credit card) or the App Store terms have changed, I've noticed that you need to press the "Buy" button twice for the purchase to actually go through (ie, you press Buy, you agree to the terms, and you have to press Buy again). You won't get double-charged.
You can check if the purchase is actually downloading by looking in the Purchased tab of the App Store - the Mountain Lion installer will be there if it worked. If not, try the Buy button again.

The hard drive on my computer crashed a couple of weeks ago, so I had to re-install the old OS from the CD that came with my computer almost four years ago. After dealing with all that, I decided to upgrade to OS 10.8.4 and purchased the upgrade from the app store. And then about 20 minutes later I made the realization that hey, if this happens again, I don't have an actual disc to reinstall from should my hard drive crash again. I'm planning on getting a new computer once I get my financial aid in September, but it would be just my luck that my hard drive crashes two weeks before I get that, so what should I do to make sure I don't have to re-purchase the upgraded OS?

Hi. I just wanted to update my 3 apps PS, Brigde and Indesign. After doing that I wasn't abble to open Brigde??? PS and Indesign works fine. Further more the Application Manager does not seem to register the updates I have made on Indesign and PS. Everytime I open the computer MacIBook 4.1, OS 10.6.7) it looks like I haven't updated software? Please help! Kurt

I just bought mountain lion off the app store,but now I think I already have it. Is this possible? Would I be able to buy it if I already own it?

The App Store will permit you to purchase Mountain Lion regardless of whether your MacBook Pro already had it installed when it shipped from Apple.
If you bought Mountain Lion from the App Store, you will be able to install it on as many additional Macs as you may have. If you only have the one Mac and have no plans to acquire any others that did not ship with Mountain Lion, then there was no need to purchase another copy. -

Just bought 2 apps on the app store "bardbarian" and "Slayin", but now when i look at the history of what i bought it says i owe them ca 2dollars!!! help?!?!?!Untill the movie studios agree to allow past downloads of movies outside of the US, you aill always have to have a copy of purchased movies on your computer. If not, you will have to buy them again if you delete them.

Just bought Mountain Lion from the app store on my Macbook Pro. In the middle of installion it froze up my computer saying that the installation failed,

I had a similar issue and it was an easy fix for me. First you need to log out of your account completely in the Mac App Store. Quit the application. Re-open the Mac App Store. Click log-in, enter your Apple-ID and password. Now when the screen pops-up that has all of your billing/credit card information on it DO NOT select done. Instead select View my Account, then select View hidden purchases. There you should be able to find iPhoto. Hope this helps if not let me know. I'm still searching solutions for you.

I bough a iPod touch 5 with iOS 6.1.1. I bought it from a friend. When I tried to open a account with iCloud it says that all user Ids have been used. So now I'm unable to sign up for iCloud. Also vI just tried to download a. App from the App Store, and when I put in my password it says that my apple user I'd is disabled. Please help.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.

Occasionally can't put space at end of line in Mail
Hi Everyone, Occasionally when writing in the body of a message in mail I can't put a space at the end of the line. If I push enter to go to the next line and send the message it breaks up the line/sentence. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks, Paul
