Nokia 6111 - big problem!

had my nokia 6111 for a few weeks, no problems, till now! got a message on screen saying 'sim registration failed' and the phone will not work. i've checked the sim in other phones and its fine and i bought the phone sim free so it shouldnt be a problem. can any one hel before i send it back to nokia as i love this phone! thanks x

I do have a big problem with the phone too. It often turn on and off by itself. Right now I can't open the Inbox Folder. It happened when I received an SMS three days ago. In left top of the screen there's a closed envelope icon showing that a new unread msg in my inbox folder. When I open the folder, the phone, the screen became blank (baklit is off) and it on seconds later. Till now, I can't open my inbox. Is there any solution for this. This is a second unit after the first one have the exact problem.

Nokia E65 big problem had to reset twice in 3 weee...

Hi all i have had my nokia E65 for 3 weeks now and i have had to turn the phone off and on twice in that 3 week period, why you may ask.
when i use my phone its fine but the problem is when i dont use the phone the display go`s dark which it should but then the bar which displays time date and profile its the long white bar that moves at random on the screen when not in use somtimes do`s not show up at all it just shows the home screen all the time. The display do`s go dark but the long white bar that moves at random do`s not kick in. this has happend to me twice and the only way to fix it is to turn the phone off and on and then it works again what could be causing this as the home screen darkend could cause screen damage as its a static picture.
have you or anyone had this problem on the nokia E65 and if so what firmware as there are 2 diffrent firmwares now.
I am going to take it back but to be honest i think this is a bug in the phone as was wanting to know if anyone on here had the same problem as me.

Big Problems in Email in Full Screen Mode

Just came across a big problem. When Email is in full screen mode, new emails and replies don't have customizable toolbars. I need access to my Address Book icon because it has groups that I often forward emails to. In regular mode, I have customized the toolbar via the View Menu to include the Address Book icon (plus added lots of other icons). In full screen mode, all the extra icons are not available.
Also, in Full Screen Mail, you can't move the new/reply email window -- which is a big problem if you want to view to the email underneath.

I tried, but the feedback page (Mail Menu/Provide Mail Feedback) does not allow typing comments. By default, infomation about my Mail Setup is included, but I cannot add a comment.

Simple:
File -> Export to get your photos out of the iPhoto Library. In the Export dialogue you can set the kind to Original and you'll get back exactly what you put in.
Apps like iPhoto2Disk or PhotoShare will help you export to a Folder tree matching your Events.
Once exported, you can then trash the iPhoto Library - just drag it from the Pictures Folder to the trash and empty it.
After that, if you're entirely neurotic about it, just put the iPhoto app in the trash and empty it.

Just joined bt and have a real big problem!!!!

hello there i was very happy untill this morning with my new bt infinity package which was installed last tuesday.i have only just realised with horror that i have taken delivery of the wrong tv box.we have chosen a humax youview box when we should have opted for a bt vision+ box so we could receive the extra 18 channels and sport.we ordered over the phone and i was told it was just a matter of paying a £10 fee to get espn and i didnt realise the extra channels i was paying an additional £12.50 for was the six packs add on which is completely different.anyway i rang up this morning and was told it would cost £199 to change boxes!!!!!!.is this correct??.if so ive got a year with a useless box with next to nothing i want to watch!!.what are my options please.
on the plus side i am delighted with the phone and broadband!!

It is scheduled for the summer but lime all schedules it could slip. It requires an update to the software
They are currently working on delivering this service to those who have the existing boxes ie the Black Vision Box. The two separate platforms will disappear in time with YouView being the future. Have you checked to see if your exchange is multicast enabled

Nokia 6300 Very Big Probleme !!!

I have Nokia 6300 V 04.70 - 24-01-07 - RM-217
I Have 2 Big problems :
The first :
When i go To : Menu - Settings - Configuration - Preferred access pt. : it show a screen with random text about vodafone and it reset automaticaly !!!!
The second is :
When i go to Menu - Settings - Configuration - Personal config. sett. - My presence : To activate the Chat Messenger i make all the good configuration, but when i return to Menu i dont find Chat application, it appair for 2 seconds and its removed !!!
Plz help me and give me the code to cleat the wap/gprs seetings to remove the first problem

According to my knowledge, Chat option isn't available on newer phones. Not even on my 6233, though it was available on my old 1100. If 6300s of your friends have it, it must be something firmware related. As you have the Live Postcard option, it must be a Vodafone phone. So may be in newer or older firmware versions, the chat option might be available. So check it with your operator. It never is anything Personal Configuration related unless this MESSENGER is a Java app. I think you mean that Chat is a main feature available in your messaging menu, not in a sub menu like Instant Messaging. Hope this helps.

Nokia X2-00 big problem with MMS receive

I have 2 nokia X2-00 and is a very good phone but mms is a big big big problem. So. If I want to send mms from X2 to other phone all is good and the image can be view very good on other phone. BUT. If I receive MMS on my X2, the image is very poor, very small, 101*75 resolution , 2,3kb. There are no option to modify the resolution of photo receive by mms. I done some tests with both nokia X2 and there is the same problem. Both phone can send mms with picture that can be see very easy and clear on other phone but can not receive mms with clear picture - all picture receive are very small. I think is a software problem. Is there an update for this problem? Practically I can not clear see picture by mms...they are too small to view, and can not be used for enything - not wallpaper, not album nothing. Thanks
PS - version 4.90 of the phone software does not resolve this problem

HT1386 I have just rceived an upgrade to an iPhone 3GS. Now, when I visit the Store all the prices are in US dollars, not a big problem but I cannot edit my card details or contact to a UK address. I cannot see how to change this.

Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.

Just updated to itunes 12.1.0.71 - big problem - can no longer access the legacy "Get Info" where you could change multiple files, easily add artwork, add album name for TV show, and much more. In previous iTunes 12 you'd right click and hold shift key and be able to get to it. Anyone figured this out?

The "legacy" metadata editors, for which there was a "back door" in iTunes 12.0, have gone from 12.1. However, the revised editors in 12.1 provide access to (almost) all the metadata elements that were available in iTunes 11, albeit in a different layout and with some additional constraints based on media kind. Some users have / will have an issue with the statement that "Get Info has been completely redesigned in iTunes 12 to focus your attention only on what’s necessary for the selected item" since that removes some metadata elements that people may have been using in creative ways. iTunes 12.1 basically gives you access to the fields that Apple think are necessary ... . Some of the things that have been excluded by this rule:
track and disc number fields for video media kinds
show and episode fields for music
description tab for audiobooks made up of more than one file
Obviously the first two examples can be regarded as "overloading" the metadata elements - i.e., using them in ways that the designers didn't intend - but given that some users do find valid cases for this it's a shame that they've been deprecated in the new UI. There are couple of workarounds:
in songs view (or any of the other columnar views), you can still select any fields to display, independent of media kind, and these can be edited (though only one at a time) by double-clicking in the relevant "cell"
you can (temporarily) change the media kind of an item (or group of items) to get access to metadata elements that would otherwise be inaccessible.
It may be worth submitting an issue via https://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html - I can't see it as a huge development task to have a user preference to switch between "show all fields" and "filter fields based on media kind".
One other oddity/irritation is that some of the tabs don't, by default, show all the available fields - you need to scroll up/down to access them or to expand the window by dragging on one of its corners. Fortunately, the latter seems to be persistent - once you've done this to make all the fields visible the editor will open at the same (larger) size when opened again.

Problem with Nokia Anna

i install the new software update name as anna i feel big problem in my phone battery. i charged battery and it will discharged after 8 to 9 hour and phone is switche off automatically. before that it will not be happend. Please anybody tell me how to uninstall anna firmware

Apple has made a serious error not advising people when the Lion upgrade occurs that their present software may/will not be compatible and advise the user of such before and allow a opt out.
All you can do (besides upgrading all your software) is backup your data off the machine (not to TimeMachine) and disconnect all drives.
Hold c boot off the 10.6 disk and erase your makers hard drive on the far left, (that's the entire drive of everything)
Partition tab: Option: GUID, format OS X extended and click apply so you get a new GUID (replacing the Lion one or trouble occurs later)
Quit and install 10.6, then go through setup and use the same name as before, then update to 10.6.8
Then c boot off the 10.6 disk again and use Disk Utility to Repair the disk the 10.6.8 update messed up.
Then install all your programs again from fresh sources and lastly your user files in the same main user folders as before (music, pictures, documents etc.)
Done as described will get you back just like it was before as close as possible, make SURE to use the same username or else your iTunes and other files get all messed up. Password and drive name can be different though if you wish.
Note: if you've upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6, then you don't get the free iLife as it's not on the 10.6.3 white disks, only on the disks that came with your machine. So that will have to be purchased and reinstalled or use Pacifist to extract it from the 10.5 disks.

I dropped my ipod5 on a stone table (really hard) and the color (little part) came off! It's not a big problem but I just got it not long time ago. Can Apple repaire it? Will it be free? P.s. That part it's like 1mmX1mm not big, but I just want to know.

When you get your iPod repaired / replaced... do yourself a favor, spend a few more bucks and but a case, like a Lifeproof or Griffin Survivor. Both cover the entire iPod and offer protection against drops and falls, weather, sand, dust, etc. and will at least minimize if not prevent damage to your iPod. Good luck.

Nokia 500 Touch problem

I had just brought Nokia 500 and after 2 or 3 days i updated it to Symbia Belle my touch has become crazy.
Many times it happenes that when I am using the phone different application like contact, web etc starts opening automitacally and when I try to to cancel it, the touch doesn't work for me.
please help me out of this problem. I think this is because of Symbian BELLE.
Can someone suggest me how to go back to ANNA.....
