Is it just me or is Chrome 44 not as fast as the previos versions

Well, the point of any product is to make money.
Chrome earns money for Google by getting ads in front of eye balls....maybe.
It also caches pages you haven't request, which possibly adds to their revenue.
I know it irritates me if I'm looking for particular traffic and and there are a bazillion chrome threads mindlessly sucking down pages.
Sure, I can disable it, but it's not something I'm going to do on every system I use.

after the update to chrome 44 it really slowed down the browser it takes 2 times as long to load the page and it also has the issue pointed out in a previous thread the day of its release I AM DEFINITELY NOT IMPRESSED its just like the facebook for browsers (doesnt apply to the apps) now looks more like IOS I will be using firefox until next update...

I just bought a MAC and am trying to figure out the correct version of LR4 to install on the Mac. Someone in support (LR) gave the link for the downloads, and I chose the LR4.4 (but, it said LR5---kind of confusing). I don't have a DVD drive, so I am not sure if this one will work. I have the LR icon that says Light Room 4.4 on the screen, but LR does not open when I click it.....????? How do I open this? Thanks!!!

I called my ISP to set it to Bridge mode and they said that they couldn't do that (Linksys help desk gave me instructions on the switch to Bridge mode). However, they then tried to upsell me their own wireless router for $79.99......
Can I make this change myself or do they need to do it from their end?

Why .swf run in google chrome and not in my C# application (same version 13)

i ask you now to undestand why my swf is able to have his path folder with google chrome and not with my C# application.
Both use the same version of Flash player.
With my application, we see only file/
With google Chrome, we see the full path :
My C# application uses shockwaveflash.
Why the swf can't having the path with my application ?

If it works in Chrome, it's not a problem with the SWF or with Flash Player, so the problem lies in your C++ compiling.

Firefox crashes or just freezes and each time I close it, I have to type all the websites again - it does not memorize them as the previous version did?

The latest version of Firefox looks great, but some new problems began appearing:
-sometimes it crashes or just freezes and nothing can be done, it just says Not Responding
-each time I close all the tabs I always put - Save option so that next time all the tabs are there, but with the new version I never get all the tabs from the previous session, but only the blank or home page?

Restart your computer and try again.
Double check your AppleMenu()>System Preferences>Trackpad

Subject - Adding movies to iTunes that had previously been deleted. Having just purchased an AppleTV, I wanted to re-encode a few movies at a higher resolution (Handbrake). I deleted the old version from iTunes, but it would not let me add the new version

I even tried changing the name of the file. When I choose "add file to library", then select the file, it does nothing, and provides no explanation. I also tried adding a specific file that had been previously deleted. I did not re-encode this movie; I just wanted to add the same file again and it would not let me.
I'm using iTunes 11.1.3.8 on Windows 7. I appreciate any help that could be offered.

In iTunes, do Store->View my AppleID
Click "Deuthorize ALL"
Then, on any computers you still have, do Store->Authorize this computer. If there are less than 5, you will have no problem.
You can only do "deauthorize all" once a year, so in the future, if you ever throw a computer away, remember do to "Store->Deauthorize this computer" first.

(-10010) The Sudden Motion Sensor may have parked the hard drive head, or the disk performance is not sufficient to read or write all audio tracks, or the system was not able to process all data in time]
Never had any issues before now... any ideas?

Have a look into the Preferences folder (YourUserFolder/Libraries/Preferences/) and trash all Logic preferences.
You'll have to setup the program again.

Have lightroom 5 hard copy and just got a mac. downloaded the trial version of LR5 from the web, but it will not take my serial number. gives me an invalid serial number error

i have had lightroom 5 for some time now, and have used on my pc. I just got a mac (no disc drive) so I downloaded the trial version of LR5 from the adobe site. Once installed, i tried to key in my serial number.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

Can anyone make dreamweaver compatible with the new version of chrome and how much it would cost?

In addition to the numerous code errors mentioned by Jim, you're making a huge mistake with Flash navigation. It's deadly for site visitors who don't have Flash supporting devices. How will people navigate your site? I would rebuild your 5-page site from the ground up with HTML5, CSS and ditch all those old school tables.

from a time machine partition.
TimeMachine is only a backup and restore, it won't fix issues in software and according to your information, doesn't even optimize the restore for best performance on boot hard drives.

Most commonly used backup methods
There shouldn't be need to reinstall OS X fresh unless your having file structure issues which if they are should appear when in the Steps, which then a zero erase and install will cure as well as any bad sector issues, the defrag step wouldn't be necessarry on a freshly installed system obviously as the files are written all together, not in portions all over the drive.
