Is it just me, or is the "warm-cool" tool anemic or worse?

I love iPhoto for IOS. However, one of the tools, the warm-cool bar, seems useless - there is a barely dectable change in brightness, and nothing in temperature. I've seen this on my iPad 2 and the new Ipad. Is there some secret for making this work that I'm missing?

So I guess this being kicked back into the OP's court - naestyoh - is Lr3 screwed up, or are you? (sorry - wasn't sure how else to word that ).
Put another way, have you tried comparing it to the version you believe behaved differently?

Just when I thought the service couldn't get any worse...

I "upgraded" to 150Mb fios last September. Since then I've experienced consistent Internet service interruptions.
My calls to Verizon service tech support have been met with their replacing my router, ONT box, and continued assurances the issue would be resolved quickly. The latest time consuming interaction occurred this morning when their tech support engineer told me they would be working on the problem today.
Now I don't have phone dial tone. Could that be related to either verizon trying to fix the problem or perhaps some tech support guy being a bit vindictive?
I'm also wondering how much longer it will be, beyond the 30 minutes I've aloready been sitting on hold, before I can talk to someone at Verizon about the phone issue.

Same here. I upgraded awhile back to HS and have had problems with drops. However, it has become much worse. While watching a movie(s) from Amazon.com via Roku (wireless connection). The connection some time slows down until the movie freezes and I have to go out and return. Most of the time the connection just drops. I get a message from the Roku player to check my connection. I try several times without success. Then I notice the Internet connection light just goes out. Turn off/on the router "hope" the Internet light comes back on. After severe power off/power on it might stay on.
I had to do this so many times last night I just gave up watching the movie. I ended up connecting the Roku directly to the router with a cable. This worked better but the connection still went down twice. Very, very frustrating. I hesitate calling Tech Support because their "send a signal" very seldom works. Then they offer to send out a tech (with me possibly getting charged). Finally, the noise on my phones (yes using the filter on both) is so bad along with the "false rings" I just unplug the phones.

Can I restore just one app. using the Install disc, or must all items be restored?

Two ways to print a portion of a page: zooming or using the Snapshot Tool.
ZOOMING:
Zoom into the area you want to print.
Click the Print icon.
Under "Pages to Print", make sure "Current view" is selected under "More options" (you may need to click "More options" to open it).
If you aren't satisfied with the preview, try clicking "Fit" under the Size button.
SNAPSHOT
Choose Edit > Take A Snapshot.
Drag a rectangle around the area you want to print.
Click the Print icon.
Under "Pages to Print", make sure that "Selected Graphic" is selected under "More options".
To enlarge the snapshot to fit the sheet of paper, choose "Fit" under the Size button.

Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Right after i click ok i then get this error: "Itunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall Itunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)." I tried to uninstall Itunes and then reinstall the 11.03 version but that didnt work either. I want to know if i copy all of the music in my itunes folder to an external without consolidating can i still transfer all my itunes music from my current windows xp pc to a brand new one and have my current itunes library in my new pc? Basically i just want to know 3 things: What exactly does consolidating the itunes library do? Can i copy, paste, and transfer my itunes library to an external and from there to a new pc? Will i be able to transfer my itunes library without consolidating the files?

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). I am not quite ready to restore the full iphoto library , as I have days of work re - imputting titles,descriptions and enhancement . I hope that your suggestion works , as I use my Macbook basically to work with digital photography. Through time , I will need to delete my library to recover more disc space and I would hate to have to spend more time re - imputting titles and descriptions all over again .

Your system is missing a couple DLLs that LR needs, but the fix at Adobe is to copy them to the LR folder which gets replaced for each install, so you have to redo it after each LR install. It would be worth documenting the process and saving the DLLs so you don’t have to ask about it each time:

You might also use the AIO210 program to add them as detailed in this YouTube video—maybe this is a more permanent fix, but since the files are from media-fire be very careful about what you do so as not to install a virus on your computer.
I’d scan the downloaded ZIP you download with whatever virus and internet security software you have and don’t be fooled by extraneous popups you might see during the download process. I was able to download the aio210.zip after authorizing one Captcha window and closed at least one bogus popup trying to get me to install other software. If I hit anything, including "View Entire Inbox" or on a particular message, or anything else, I'll just be returned to the "Inbox Preview" page. This only happens on Firefox. When it started happening, I finally gave up and tried Internet Explorer, which works fine. I'd prefer to access email on Firefox, so please tell me how to correct this.
I don't know if this is related, but immediately before this started happening, I may have hit something on my laptop, which caused the Comcast email screen to magnify to the point where I could not view the message window on messages. I couldn't figure out how reverse this, so I did the above (went to IE, which was fine). When I next attempted to access Comcast email from Firefoxe, the site was no longer magnified, but I had the above problem with being unable to get past the Inbox Preview page.

If there is no loading bar, it's usually a problem with a third party kext file in OS X itself.
You can press the power button down to force a hardware shutdown, then reboot holding the shift key down on a wired or built in keyboard, this will disable them and you go around and update your third party software.
Gray, Blue or White screen at boot, w/spinner/progress bar
Also take this time to backup your users files off the machine if possible.

I've just done this using the installation disc which, then said the installation had been successful.
Outlook is still not working. Can anyone please advise me on what to do next.

Remove MS Office 2011 completely (here are instructions) and reinstall it.
It's not a simple or fast process but it is important to follow all of the steps in order to get all the files that Office scatters around. This will not affect your data files, only MS Office and its preferences.
