Is it just me or is the weather app on the ios 8 laggy??
After I had download the ios 8 operating system my stock weather app has been very laggy (the animation where you tap on the city and it will give you a detail info on the weather)
I get better 3G signal after the last update and in some areas where I used to get 1 or 2 bars maximum, now I get 3 and it is not dropping like before.

Thanks, takes a bit more than that. Gotta get the attention of that item in the list by holding on it until it "enlarges", let go and then you can swipe it. iOS 8.2.
Aha, now it is working as you suggested. Wouldn't do that until I deleted a bunch of erroneous cities. iOS 8 has some quirks to get used to. Restart may be a good thing from time-to-time. -

Just bought an iPad. I have an iPhone, that has a weather app the phone came with. Is there one for the iPad?
Apple doesn't provide one but there are a bunch available at the App store.

Open the weather application. You should see 3 white lines at the right below corner and hit that.
It will show the list of locations. Now just swipe to left on any location and you should find a delete option.

I understand it is not a full widget, but that's what Apple used to call it in iOS 5 and 6. Anyway, let me give more information. I cleared all of my notifications. This means that the All and Missed tabs are completely empty. Swiping to the left and right just brings me to these empty menus. I have everything turned on except for Stocks in the Notification Center. My "Today" view consists of Today Summary, Calendar Day View, and the Tommorow Summary tab at the very bottom. There is no mention at all about Weather at all in Settings>Notification Center, which leads me to think Apple just dumped this feature. Can anyone verify this?The Weather is still there. Make sure the Weather App is allowed access to Location services.
Settings->Prvacy->Location Services->Weather.
Then Open the weather App to generate the Weather for your current location and it should appear in the Today tab under the date.

Why doesn't the weather icon display the current temperature in your "local" city?
Why doesn't the current temperature display in the weather icon on the home screen?
The application works and I do have location-based services on. I'm just wondering why the icon itself does not show the current temperature. Sort of how they upgraded the clock after show the current time.

After upgrading to iOS 8 on my iPhone 5, the weather app does not show up results for any of the Indian States/cities. Can Apple look into this or does anyone have a solution to this.
Swipe from bottom of days listed ("Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, etc") upwards. I thought it was gone too but it's still there~just takes different way to access it.

I am not seeing the weather in the notifications for 'today'. The weather app doesn't show up in the notifications dialog either. What to do?

Basically I recently installed Firefox 3.6 on my Mac Laptop, only 3-4 months old, so latest Sea Leopard OSX System whatever
Anyway once installed I decide to have a theme, then add some add on applications. This seems to be the problem
When I first tried to run it all the apps opened home pages and I kept trying to close them as they did
Next time I got less pages but then I could not access the Tools>AddOns menu before the Firefox browser crashed
What seems to be happening is that the Weather app takes forever to load, my Apple Mac goes into the circle (thinking) mode which means I cannot activate any menus or move my mouse. Then by the time I try and type in say google in the blank www URL address the browser crashed. I have tried going into safe mode using the Option but makes no difference
If I can somehow instal the irksome weather app or get access to the Tool >Add ons menu and uninstall each of the several apps I have daftly installed I know I can get a solution
Any help or suggestions appreciated since I still think Firefox is cool:-). its the apps or some of them that suck!Maybe you did't understand my previous statement. Not sure why you can't delete it. I was able to delete all of them including the first one in the same way -- sliding to the left in the list and then tapping Delete. I didn't encounter any difference on the first one.

I really like the quick, unadorned, temperatures plus daily weather symbols of the iPhone's built-in weather app.

I've tried all sorts of weather apps--and generally find that using a Safari bookmark to the Weather Underground site is far better than any of the weather apps out there. But, even so, it's that simple lising of the current temperature and upcoming next six days of the iPhone Weather app that is most useful--and most appealing-- to me.
I know how to use Disk Aid and rummage my way around the iPhone files, but I don't find the Weather app!
All advice appreciated!No way to transfer it.

Reminders is automatically installed with 10.8 or above. A new Mac should have 10.9; it's possible that, with a third-party vendor, you have an earlier OS. Check under the Apple menu in the top left and click About This Mac. That will tell you what version of OS X you have.
