Is it legal to build a website template with dreamweaver and re distribute it?

I see this a lot in the world wide web and thought I would look into the legalities of this as I cannot seem to find any documentation on Adobe's website regarding the licensing of work created using Dreamweaver and redistributing it to others. Can anyone answer this credibly or point me to the proper jargon?

There are a couple of catches of course:
1) If you are using Education version or a Trial then you can't can't make money from it.
2) If you are using other people JS plugins/ HTML boilers etc then you must acquire permission before distributing them- this includes menus, sliders, responsive grid tools like mixit up isotope etc.
3) Media and Graphics included with a theme needs to be checked against the original authors.

I got a chance to look at it on a PC. Totally hosed up. It loads incorrectly then parts of it go blank.
I have a site that is based very much on one of the built-in templates and it works fine on the same PC. It contains only text boxes, image placeholders, and images with "picture frame" borders. Nothing fancy, no overlays, no extra code or anything. I haven't looked much at the other templates so I don't know if yours is mostly a template or how much you may have modified one or what tricks you may have done to get the look you wanted. Whatever it is, IE does not like it. Unfortunately, you can't really ignore them as was suggested; they make up a large part of your audience.

You dont have to put everything onto your webserver first. You can start with DW locally (with all files stored on your computer) before uploading a completed site to your server.

Can't build and simulate basic phonegap template with Dreamweaver 5.5

Hello,
i'm becoming crazy to figure out how to solve this problem. I'm using a MAC with latest release of LION and trying to compile, build and simulate a test-app using dreamweaver CS5.5 and phonegap framework.
While build+simulate i got an error and, searching in log, i found out:
Undefined symbols for architecture i386: "_CMTimeGetSeconds", referenced from: -[PGCapture getFormatData:withDict:] in libPhoneGap.a(Capture.o)
after searching i found out that could be a missing reference to "CoreMedia.framework".
I tried to open the XCODE output and add reference to that framework, finally dreamweaver build and compile. The simulator run and the iphone open but the screen is totally black, nothing on it.
The same if i open the xcode project and run from there.
I'm using the latest versions of Dreamweaver, Lion, Phonegap, Jquery-mobile, Jquery.
Any ideas?

I just did "NEW" -> "Page from sample" -> "Mobile starter" -> "Jquery mobile phonegap"
then setted the framework and try to simulate.
LION -> 10.7.2
DW -> CS 5.5 (updated today)
J-query -> 1.6.4
JQ-mobile -> 1.0 rc2
Phonegap -> 1.1.0
I'm totally lost...

How to build database driven mobile apps with dreamweaver and phonegap?

Hi all,
I'm searching the easiest way to implement a simple database in my app.
I can build application with php/mysql in seconds with dreamweaver.
But how can I do something similar with dreamweaver cs5.5 and phonegap for mobile apps?
I would like to create a little app that pulls data from a mysql database on my webserver.
But it seems that dreamweaver/phonegap/jquery mobile work only with HTML files.
I searched the whole web for a day now but I haven't found anything easy to recreate.
Is there a tutorial that explains the basic of database for mobile in dreamweaver?
It seems a bit limitating to use dreamweaver to build only static/useless apps....
What about forms and data validation?

I have an app in the App Store that I designed in Photoshop, developed in Dreamweaver CS6, and packaged with Adobe PhoneGap Build. The first three steps - design, development, and packaging I did on a Windows computer. But I used a Mac for my developer certificate and provisioning profile, as well as the finall step of preparing and submitting it to the App Store through Application Loader.

You'll also need an Apple Developer account, and an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X Snow Leopard or later to develop and distribute iOS apps. If you're building an app for a client, you'll use their developer account for the submission process.

Two websites-one with .Mac and one with .Mac using personal domain

Good Day All! I know I asked this before but I think the question got wrapped in with another and I don't see that it has been answered. If I overlooked it I apologize for the duplicate post.
I have a .Mac subscription with one published website already. I am working on another website now in iWeb but I want to publish it using a personal domain name. Can I do this? If so, can I keep them from being linked together?? Does that make sense? Thanks! quinlis

if you use CNAME both sites will be reachable using either the CNAME or the web.mac.com/username/ address
if you use Webforwarding entering the personal domain will get to the site you pointed the domain to
but that site will also be reachable through web.mac.com/username/sitename/
I'd recommend you to use webforward with cloaking/masking/framing in your case. Thus the site you want to have the personal domain for will show the personal domain in the browser and will also be reachable through web.mac.com/username/sitename/ but your other website will not be reachable through your personal domain.
Note that using masking google will not index the content of your pages using your personal domain if you're interested in that.

I guess the best way would be having a family account or two .mac accounts so you can set it up as CNAME and your other site would be published to another account or sub-account and thus not reachable using your personal domain.

Everything works, except the JSF-hyperlinks when the main part is included as shown above to avoid redundancy of html-code. -> No reaction. ;)
When putting the JSF-hyperlinks in a single JSP without any includes, it works fine, too, then it works as I have tested.
(So navigation rules in faces-config.xml seem to be ok, the failure must be something with include or in the surrounding.)
-> What is the problem for JSF here? Why do the JSF-hyperlinks not work when the code defining them is included instead of standing alone as a JSP containing the whole site content (disadvantage of this practice: redundancy)?
(I am not familiar with facelets etc. ;) )

I am fairly new to Dreamweaver (cs6), having previously designed and maintained a few sites using Freeway. I purchased a template from TemplateMonster.com in the hope that this would simplify the creation of a new site. The template came without any instructions other than how to unzip the file. Their helpline really isn't helpful at all. Can anyone recommend an online tutorial on how to use a predesigned template? Lynda.com doesn't have one. Thanks!

Error opening a Manage Report template with Formulas and Summation

Hi Expert,
My j2ee web application is setup is such a way that when there is NO connectivity to the Crystal Report Server XI, it will use the Crystal Report for Eclipse functionality and opening report templates located in the relative path - This works fine.
But when there is a connectivity to the CMS Server, I have this error when opening a manage report in Crystal Report Server XI that contains formulas and summations. But for other reports like chart and listings no problem.
This code triggers the error:
ReportClientDocument clientDoc = reportAppFactory.openDocument(infoObject,0, java.util.Locale.US);
I found out there's a conflict between CR libraries for Eclipse and libraries for RAS Enterprise Server XI.
How can I solve this issue so that I can support the two scenarios - with or without CMS connectivity, I can still view reports.

You must isolate the CR4E and RAS SDK jars using separate classloaders - simplest is have separate apps, if rolling your own class loaders is out of project scope.
They do not work together.

Custom-style outline template with prompts and glossary page

I would like to make a template in Word 2010 with a custom-style outline. Would anyone be able to suggest how to achieve these requirements (pointing me to reading material also helpful):
1. Every phrase the user types into a field gets automatically added to a final glossary page, listing exact letter-for-letter duplicates only once.
2. Upon opening an instance of the template the user is prompted with the following entry form questions:
       ○ Prompt: "What error message or problem description will this document cover?" The free-text answer will populate the header of each page in the title style.
       ○ Prompt: "What is your initial condition? If none, press enter." The free-text answer will populate the first line in heading1 style in the form "Additional Condition: [user's answer]".
If the answer is of string length 0, the user's answer defaults to "none".
       ○ Prompt: "List all possible causes for initial condition, separated by a comma. Phrase possible causes as a question." Each comma-separated free-text answer will populate the next line in heading2
style with the numbering convention "Possible Cause [#]".
3. Under each possible cause item the following items appear in heading3 style, each on its own line: "System overview, Tools required, Safety precautions, Troubleshooting steps, Confirm possible cause, Fix confirmed
cause". Underneath the items just listed appear more fields that the user can use.
I realize this is a lengthy post, probably too specific, but if I could get pointed in the right direction I am willing to do the research!

The glossary will reiterate all phrases entered by the user (this is an outline so each phrase will be a paragraph, but paragraphs the paragraphs a brief). I have the following code that executes as written but the problem comes when you change content
