Is it me or is it my headphones or the prod
the soundfont in the distortion guitar sounds like beeping when i play the high pitched stuff doesnt sound like it does in the music cds i have.. how do i fix this or is it my card or headphones?i?have an audigy 2
I personally have never heard a decent overdri'ven/distorted guitar with any midi.
An overdri'ven guitar sound however has some similarities with a beep. If it sounds too artificial it means the sample is too flat and there aren't enough effects that make it sound more "natural" (well, as natural as an electrically distorted signal can sound anyway), e.g. no vibrato, unusual frequency response etc.
Try a different soundfont, or use an effects plugin if you're using some software like Reason.

After working fine for several months, my iPhone 5 has started dropping bluetooth connectivity for 2 to 5 seconds at a time with my Sony MDR-1RBT headphones. The headphones work fine with other bluetooth devices. I haven't moved to iOS7 yet. Any ideas?
What user troubleshooting have you done on the phone? The steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Understand that a restore will put the latest iOS on your device. It is also possible there is a hardware fault on the device and the Bluetooth is failing. Anything is possible given the scenario you describe.
And as far as iOS 7.x is concerned, we have 5 different iPhones here at home, all with the latest iOS, a 4, 4s, 5c, and 2-5s and all are working just fine. So, a blanket statement such as the one provided by the other poster is not completely true. Others are not having any issues at all either. -
I have ipod touch 1st gen and it will no longer detect that i have headphones in the headphone jack and so i cannot turn up my volume. Is there any way it can be fixed?
Have you tried:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

Specifically, you will want to take note of this section:
The headphones don't work
If your iPod's headphones don't work or have static or garbled audio, try connecting them to any other 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack, like the one on your computer. If the issue with the headphones persists, replace them. For an iPod under warranty, you can order a replacement online. Otherwise, check out the cool headphones at the Apple Online Store. If the issue appears to be with the iPod, try resetting it. If that doesn't work, then restore iPod with the latest iPod software using iTunes 7 or later.

In what way? Do they not plug into the iPad easily (a number or users have experienced that - the advice for this is to push the plug in hard)? Do they not sound good (what brand are you using), and if not, is this the case for all sound or just certain songs/video/etc.?

Maybe you can try to get a stereo splitter adaptor to share the audio output with your speaker.

Is it possible to use both exits to play different songs? I mean, use speakers and headphones like different channels, I'd like to use them to mix music and it would be very useful if I could listen a song by headphones while the other one is playing.
Laptop has two headphones exits, can I use them as different channels as well??

I've noticed that when wearing headphones the sound is much louder in the right headphone than the left one. This wasn't a problem before. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a fix if so?
Did you try different headphones!?
If it's sounding the same thing on different headphones then you might have changed the Left-Right balance
Have a look at Settings -> General -> Accessibility
There's a slider for L-R
If it's in the center then the headphone through which you're facing the problem might be damaged, try twisting the headphone wire of the speaker of the headphone (left or right) where you are encountering less volume.
If it's sounding altogether same on all the circumstances, the headphone jack might be damaged. Get your phone to the Apple Store and book an appointment
Try these steps and it will solve your question -
My ipod headphone jack is only allowing sound in one headphone. i tried multiple headphones to make sure it wasn't the headphone but the jack itself. i have a ipod video 5th generation.
Had you brought the same pair of headphones to the Apple Store with you and they worked there? If you hadn't, the wire or plug on those headphones may have failed. Try a different pair if you can and see if those work.

Quick question, I got my z3 compact back in February/March and can't remember seeing a set of bundled headphones in the box - is this correct?
I will check in the box and see if i'm missing something, but remember at the time thinking that they must be trying to cut back on the costs.
Can someone confirm if there should have been headphones there and if i don't find them in the box, if i should contact Sony?

What Alexdon has advise is correct, there may also be a list on the box that states what should come with it. If this includes headphones, then I definately suggest contacting the retailer you purchased the device from.
