Have you tried powering off and then back on your router?
Does it only happen with your router? If so that would tend to indicate a router problem.

Lately I tried to start a pc programme, but all I got were three windows in my Firefox. My problem now is that every time when I order one of this windows to be closed my Firfox crashes.

This sounds more like a Windows question, than a Firefox question. When you say that an image shows up every time you open your computer, do you mean every time you turn on your computer, or every time you start Firefox?

Try this:
1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

HP2133 loses settings every time it is switched off

My HP 2133 MiniNote has been successfully running Ubuntu Linux for two years (I'm now on 11.10) but recently I have found that I have to set the time and date every time it is turned on. I have just discovered today that despite the battery showing full charge when I pull the power cord out it immediately says that the battery level is critical and goes into suspend. The charging light on the side only lights orange for a few minutes when the power is first switched on then it goes out.
Any help or advice gratefully received.

It appears that both the main battery is going out and you are also having issues with the Real Time Clock (RTC) battery. 2 years is about right for the main battery but the RTC usually lasts more like 5 or 6 years. Both batteries need to be replaced. I would frankly replace the RTC first to see if maybe the constant resetting of the BIOS information is not contributing to the main battery problem. The bad news is that replacing the RTC battery requires a nearly complete disassembly. Here is the Manual:

The RTC battery is on the underside of the system board. See page 62. It is shown in the picture. The round object with a wire pigtail coming out of it. You may decide to just buy a new netbook when you see what a job it is.

I have yet to resolve this issue. iPhone 4S works fine with iCloud.
Thus far I have done the following.
- reinstalled OS; basically an archive an install from the bootup menu.
- pram reset
- smc reset (power cycle)
- single user mode
- repaired disk and permissions in disk utility
- trashing system preferences plist from user library & cache folders from system and user libraries; rebooting then emptying the trash
- changing icloud password; then updated everywhere it was used
- opened ports on router; 993,480, 143, & 80; network is WPA with 10 digit numerical passphrase, no firewalls or antivirus on router
- removing and readding iCloud account to mail application
- mail also doesn't work and never has with my icloud account. I know it is a separate issue but mail connection doctor prompts:
"could not connect to this iCloud IMAP server. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the Account preferences. Also verify that the server supports SSL. if is does not, deselect "Use SSL" checkbox in teh Advanced tab of Account preferences"
*Needs to be 'imap.mail.me.com" No matter how many times I remove or re-add the iCloud account, mail will prompt needs an incoming mail server. It will not let me put it in there, just has a 'mail.example.com'
On 10.6.8 I used to be able to move mailboxes to desktop, delete everything in mail folder, reboot, put back mail boxes and everything so as to really reset the mail application, but ML looks like it has disabled that as a troubleshooting feature... *but I guess the resintallation of of ML does the same..
The only logical explaination I can think of which would be in congruence with the mail issue, is that iCloud has messed up the location of where my all data is on the server... and there is not a way to fix it. I'm considering creating a whole new Apple ID but that is my last resort.

Thank you for the reply. I am on a home network. ISP is centurylink DSL service located in midwest, so USA. WPA security type with 10 digit numerical password. I verified IMAP does work on my network, my gmail account adds perfectly fine in mail on the mac. I also checked that there is not a proxy server setup. *this has been occuring in all 3 of the places I have lived in the past 5 years or so, no matter the ISP.
What is really bizarre is my iphone 4s works fine with everything. Notes sync with icloud. Mail syncs with my icloud and gmail accounts fine. The iphone is also connecting to the same wireless network. Another thing, my iphone works with a hotmail account too, which is POP (dang microsoft), but I wonder why apple won't let it work on mail on the macs.

During my Apple ID registration for my Iphone 4S, I did registered to iCloud as well with free membership of 5GB free data. I got Rs.60 deducted from my CC provided to Apple ID. When I try to update my IOS, unfortunately it throwed some errors and I had to restore my Iphone 4S. After restoring, I had signed in to iCloud to restore my data, Again I got Rs.60 deducted from my CC. I am surprised why is it deducting everytime I login to iCloud. Can anyone tell the process that is followed there? Can I get my money reimbursed? Can I stop using iCloud for this incident?

Every time when Firefox is minimized and I tab into it I can't use it. It's completely locked. Is there a way to fix this?

Every time when Firefox is minimized to the tray and I open it up again i can't use it until I click on a tab that's not focused or on the search field with the mouse. It's completely locked, I can't press ctrl+1/2/3 etc to change tab or ctrl+e to go to search. Last time everything worked like it should was on release 3.5.14
Is there a way to fix this?
Edit: I've tried reinstalling Firefox and gotten a new profile, that didn't help.
Edit2: Updated to 3.6.9 and I still have the problem.
Edit3: Just installed 3.6.11, the problem is still there.
I can't understand how 3.5.14 can work and not a singel release after that.

What is "launchproxyls"? It runs every time when I start the system.

I am using 10.6.6， Recently I noticed the computer running even I did not using any program. Then I found the process "launchproxyls", when I close this process, computer return quiet again. But every time when I start the system, it runs, and I have to close it manually.
Could anybody please help me?

I found it was SPSS using inetd.
So I made two changes, but it the launchproxyls does still run the same:
First I uninstalled the SPSS, but no effects.
Then I reinstalled the OS(10.5), the launchproxyls did not appear. But after I update to 10.6.6, it appeared again, I still have to terminate it manually.
Is there any relation between 1.6.6 and launchproxyls?
